“Had a problem with my renault traffic and went on ebay and saw that a seller listed as vaux-spares had the part that I needed instead of buying through eBay which I should have I decided to drive down and purchase the parts directly upon returning to the garage we realised that one of the modules was incorrect and that that it wouldn't work we rang up to explain this issue but was refused our money back instead was offered a credit note which is no good to us I think I am entitled to my money back as the parts is incorrect and not as stated on the ebay listing avoid at all cost”
“Bad experience... with faux spares ltd.... not recommended..... I purchased a gearbox and was never delivered. Just promises from the moment of payment. The manager was rude . They accept for refound and again just promises for two weeks. I still waiting for my money to be refunded. I'll not recommend to anyone to buy from those people. Sorry .”

I have been waiting for months now for a £2400 refund on an engine which was the WRONG UNIT. It also arrived in very bad shape.
These guys are cowboys, absolutely disgusting service.
I am now calling them on a daily basis in an attempt to get my money back. They have given me excuse after excuse about why we don't have the money in our bank yet, and now they won't even answer the phone.
The minute we ran into problems with the engine they stopped answering emails completely (Terry, complete coward), and I had to switch to calling them which is when the excuses began. The guy that answers the phone is a cocky and very unhelpful guy, and the posh sounding man in 'accounts' will keep telling you 'oh there's been a problem with the bank, it'll be in within 48 hours', or 'oh the transfer failed due to incorrect banking details, I'll put it back through for you now', or whatever else. Funnily enough they managed to get our card details right when they initially took our money......
The world of recon engines and used parts is a MINEFIELD, and I would highly recommend that you're better off selling the car as salvage or using somebody on a personal recommendation.
This is quite possibly the worst and most cowardly, deceitful company that I have ever used, and it looks like we'll have to take legal action to get our money back, which won't be hard as they have admitted fault, so I'm not sure why they seem set on getting a CCJ from us in the process? Weird way to operate if you ask me.
Please folks, anybody considering using these cowboys, save yourself the headache and lost time/money.

“Bought an engine with injectors for £1050 from these guys which they said was tested, but never produced a report. The engine arrived and fitted in my van. It didnt work as 2 of the injectors were duff. How can this have been tested with 2 injectors not working? Spoke to them about their warranty and Terry, the most obnoxious, arrogant, agressive person I have ever spoken to, stated that he didn't sell me an engine with injectors, he sold me an engine that happened to have injectors. One of his guys told me they only keep them in as they need to be 'smashed with a hammer' to try and get them out. He is now reneging on his warranty responsibilities. KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN YOUR MONEY, THEY WILL NOT HELP WITH PROBLEMS. JUST LOOK AT THE REVIEWS HERE, IM NOT THE ONLY ONE.”

“One star is generous. I purchased an engine from them in Feb 2020. They delivered wrong engine to my garage. They collected this and then never sent the correct engine. Court action ongoing. Their story is they never got the initial engine back. Hard to believe since their courier would be only people who knew where and what to collect. Impossible to speak to owner and always on voicemail or unavailable. My personal experience is bad and would not recommend.”

“Never buy from this company. Awfull experenince, had to beg for my refund after 2 months. They make up stories that parts are stuck in that depot and this depot due to COVID-19. They never gave call back. I ordered 2 doors for my car on 1st June 2020 and received refund on 25th July. Very Poor cusomer services. They never repsonded to any of my email. After 6 weeks of no engine I asked for a refund which again I never got telling me the accountant is only ever in on weekends and bla bla bla. avoid this business its caused me nothing but stress”

“Watch out with these guys. We are just about to start legal proceedings to recover funds for an engine we purchased from them which was the wrong one so it was returned at our own cost. Its been a month and Vaux Spares Ltd have not refunded a penny despite many requests.”
