“The accommodation was very good, the service was exceptionally good and the food was excellent. The excursions were very interesting and the guides were good. We enjoyed the trip to the wheelhouse and being able to see how the ship is sailed.”

“Excellent service on all three cruises that we have been on. The London booking office slipped up on our Russian cruise by failing to inform us that certain optional excursions needed to be booked in advance and so we therefore missed out items that we were particularly interested in All crew most helpful and quality of restaurant food andservice particularly excellent.”

“I have been on a few Viking cruises over the past 4 years and not one of them has failed to impress me in some way. I have yet to find a equal to them in professionalism, food, organisation or helpfulness. Last year, we had not started the cruise we had chosen along the Danube, before seeing that Viking were launching a new ocean cruise ship to Russia. Knowing their standards then, we promptly booked a place on this ship for 2016. And we can't wait to take this holiday. My recommendation - don't hesitate, book ASAP because holidays such as these get booked up very quickly. Experiences you should not miss - if you like being treated as someone special.”

“OUR RECENT CRUISE WAS OUR THIRD ONE WITH VIKING. THE CREWS ON BOARD ARE SUPERB AND CATER FOR YOUR EVERY NEED. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD AND THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONES TASTES. ALL I CAN SAY IS IT IS 5 STAR TREATMENT ALL THE WAY !!!! p.s. WE ARE GOING ON OUR 4th CRUISE TO CHINA LATER THIS YEAR.”

“Had a marvellous time on the Helvetica from Amsterdam to Basel. Viking seem to think of everything - and get it right. Highly recommended. Wish I'd gone for a fortnight's cruise rather than a week! On a constructive note, I would say that not having a lift on the Helvetica was something of a problem (I'm a blue card holder) and if you can stick to direct flights and avoid changing at Schipol, you won't regret it. Changing planes involves a LOT of walking Didn't affect me personally as I was transported by buggy and wheelchair, but my wife was very tired after the walking.”

“Excellent River Cruise. Nothing left out. Full on most of the time, in fact probably too full on sometimes. Accommodation very comfortable and food second to none. Staff lovely and always very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed it so much that we booked up for another River Cruise with Viking when we returned home.”

“From the minute we were met by Viking staff at Amsterdam Airport we were treated as though we were Royalty. Our stateroom was perfect and views from it were to die for. The choice of food was brilliant, with local dishes on offer when the occasion arose. The daily trips were informative and very well organized. other travelers were friendly and keen to join in all the fun on offer, and we are still in contact with many people we met. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the crew. We shall be travelling with Viking again, later on in the year”

“We took the Portraits of Southern France Cruise April 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. From collection at Marseilles airport the whole experience was first class. The ship, the food the accompanied tours and the crew made the cruise very memorable and we have since booked two more cruises.”

“The Rhine Discovery was our first Viking Cruise. We enjoyed every minute and it lived up to all our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was very good. We enjoyed the onboard entertainment. The trips ashore were very well organised. The flights and transfers between the Uk and the ship went well and without any problems. It was altogether a very memorable and enjoyable trip. As a result we have booked another Viking River Cruise on the Danube in October and are looking forward to it very much.”

“We have so far been on two Viking River Cruises with a third booked for this coming October. The organisation, presentation, cuisine together with the excellent Staff on board have made for memorable holiday cruises for myself and my wife. We both look forward to our third cruise knowing full well the excellent standards already provided by Viking will be waiting when we arrive. From two very satisfied customers----thank you! “We cruised from Amsterdam to Basel when on the Rhine Discovery cruise. The scenery was magnificent and we visited some beautiful cities. Viking Helvetia was a lovely ship, very comfortable yet cosy. The crew couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. The food was simply delicious and each morning we looked forward to our meals with great anticipation. We can't wait for our next Viking cruise later this year.”

“You couldn't ask for more. The staff couldn't be more helpful and are always pleasent I feel like I am leaving friends behind. The food is varied with lots of choise but if you do not like anything they will make you something else. The lunch box that are for when you are not on the boat for a meal are really good and its exciting when you open it. The information never stops. If it is a country you want to learn more about then Viking is the one to cruise with. I will not curise with any other company.”
