"AVOID THIS DECEITFUL SCAM COMPANY.\r\n\r\nI received my free tracked label, and the next day I carefully packaged my items a pair of 1980s Dior earrings, 1980s Monet earrings, and 2000s Chanel sunglasses in an original Chanel box, then sent them securely using the provided label. I tracked my parcel the next day and confirmed they received it.\r\n\r\nThe following day on the 13th of February, I had a scheduled call between 3 and 4pm. When I finally received the call at 15:45pm, it turned out to be an AI automated system not an actual person, that repeatedly asked, \u201cCan I confirm I\u2019m speaking to Lily?\u201d no matter how many times I said \u201cyes.\u201d After about twenty attempts, it started to ring a few times and then suddenly cut off with an error message. Unbelievable!\r\nI immediately emailed the company asking them to contact me via email instead since their AI automated phone system clearly wasn\u2019t working. (They never responded to my email)\r\n\r\nSoon after, I received a text saying, \u201cIt was great talking to you.\u201d Is that meant to be a joke? YOU NEVER SPOKE TO ME!\r\nThen soon after that, through WhatsApp, I got an another message stating they valued my items at \u00a327.\r\nVintage Chanel and Dior for \u00a327? IS THAT MEANT TO BE ANOTHER JOKE?!\r\nThese are luxury designer pieces worth hundreds. Not jewellery\/sunglasses from Claire\u2019s.\r\nOffering \u00a327 for authentic vintage designer items is absurd and DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. \r\nI, of course, declined, only to get another automated message asking if I was sure about my decision clearly another joke. Yes I am sure I don\u2019t want to give my designer items to you for free.\r\n\r\nIn short, this company wants your valuable items for free pretty much, they claim if you have a welcome call that they will offer a higher valuation of your items, but when you have a welcome call it\u2019s a AI automated system that just cuts you off after a few rings, and when you email this company they don\u2019t even respond to your email, when you text their WhatsApp it is also automated and says either call them or email, even when you go on their website and go on their live chat it claims that they are \u201caway\u201d. \r\n\r\nIf you value your possessions, do not send them to Vintage Cash Cow. You\u2019re far better off selling on eBay etc yourself.\r\n\r\nFrankly, the company should be changed from Vintage Cash Cow to Vintage Scammers because they seem to treat their customers like the real cash cows.\r\n\r\nPS if I don\u2019t receive all my items back all intact or missing or not received at all and you continuously ignore my emails. I will be filing a police report against you for theft! \ud83d\udc9c"

“The sum I was offered for a selection of quality vintage brooches, costume jewellery and Georgian steel jewellery was really almost insulting but like so many others it was easier to accept than return and list separately. I know that they will make a huge profit on what they gave me. I only expected a fair price but did not get one. I would not recommend nor would I use again.”

“I sent a box of various items, including a compete set of vintage brass weights. four cameras and a light meter. The same model of one of the cheaper cameras sold on ebay for £35 after I sent them. I was offered £29 for the whole box - a sum which seems to come up a few times on these reviews. It was insulting but I couldn't be bothered to take the items back (although it seems items mysteriously go astray) so accepted the offer. Thank goodness I didn't include some vintage watches! I would definitely not recommend this company.”

“It was easy to pack up a box of various treasures and take it to a post office. We were very happy with the offer, accepted it the same day and the money was in the bank account later that afternoon. Much easier than going round jewellers or doing a car boot sale.”

“Sent large parcel with many items including brass ornaments, costume jewellery, watches and few cameras. Received a very low offer of £31 - accepted offer as did not want hassle of receiving returned parcel Wish I'd read other reviews before sending/accepting offer as £30ish seems to be offered regardless of whats in package Will stick with selling on eBay it may take longer but you definitely receive more money now they've made it 'free' to sell.”

“Sent a bunch of nice costume jewelry, nice packaged plus a fair bit of hallmarked sterling silver. Offer me £31. In the returned parcel all jewelry was tangled up in a giant lump & some broken necklaces. Appalling.”

“Still waiting for VCC to reply after they responded to my trustpilot review. My items were individually bubble wrapped but every item damaged,most beyond repair. VCC returned them saying that it was not the items they buy I thought golf memorabilia and collectibles were the type of items their ad requested.”

“sent my items to vintage cash cow and was offered £35 for several silver necklaces, 2 garnet and gold brooches plus 3 real pearl necklaces and some other items. Sent it to another company Dont sit on it and they offered £127.50 which I accepted. Obviously vintage cash cow are getting so many items with their TV advertising campaign that they are offering silly money in the hope you will accept it as there will alwasy be another box arriving! at their unit.”

“i sent loads of brass items, gold watch, ornaments and more, got a phone call and they offered me £25 for the lot, i asked can't they give anymore, then they said we can give you £30, all i wanted was to get enough money to buy food, what i sent them was so much more than £30 but i took the money as needed food and the person wasn't really nice just said £30 is all they can send me but at least i got to eat that day!”

“They are efficient at sending you the pack including free sticker The cash price offered for my items was insulting to say the least Over 40 items including ,silver jewellery ,gemstone rings ,old expensive camera and silver plated ornaments and medals to name a few they offered £30 !!! This seems to be the offer a lot of people have been given When I declined I must say they sent my box free of charge with everything included rather promptly .I just don't know how they can offer such low evaluations for quality items”

“They were obsessed with calling me first so I booked a time and waited in for them not to call me. Booked the following day and the same happened. I did call and speak to a robot who kept repeating it’s not the service we like to give BUT YOU Do! Cannot recommend. Will never use.”

“2 stars for the very efficient service but seller beware! The offer that I was given was way below anything like a decent or reasonable value. Had my items returned and took them to a local shop to get a price. 4x what was offered by VCC. Just be careful with valuations. Nearly a very costly mistake.”
