Utterly appalling service, do not trust this company, photograph everything you send to them, before you pack and send it. I sent in a number of items, including a solid brass US Mailbox(one had sold on eBay for $700) they first offered me £29 for everything I sent them, including cameras and a watch as well as the mailbox. When I refused the offer they returned the items, HOWEVER, the mailbox had a MASSIVE 10 cm deep scratch diagonally across the front of it. It was too well padded and protected for this to happen in transit so a member of their staff caused this damage! They asked for 30 working days to "investigate" (should have taken them 1 day to access their CCTV) they have had 37 working days, passed me around 5 different members of staff none of which have done anything. They are forcing me to report this to the Police as it is CRIMINAL DAMAGE, which they are trying to sweep under the rug, I have dated before and after photos as proof. I have tried to upload photos to this post but THEY are blocking me from doing so! Do not trust them.

I sent a box of mixed items, gold, silver, several watches etc etc. . I had already had a figure from a jewelers just for my gold and silver. Anyway I sent my box off to vintage cash cow. I waited for well over 2 weeks for them to call me. In the end I called them. The figure they quoted me for EVERYTHING in my box was £1100. I was disgusted and asked for my box back. I took just my gold and silver down to the jewellers and got £2864. Please dont be fooled by their adverts. They had separated all the gold that had stones in them (rings with garnets, small diamonds, emeralds etc) and then just weighed up the gold items that were only just gold on their own...chains etc but no rings except a wedding ring. Please please just take your gold and silver to a jewellers. You will get almost treble what cash cow give you. They are rouges and should not be allowed to fool customers like they do.

I got an offer of £29 from cash cow for my box of items. The scrap price alone for the few silver ones was £35!!. I rejected that and got my box returned. Then I sold a few things to a dealer for £185. A few days ago I posted a negative review on Trust pilot. Cash cow replied with standard speak. At the same time more than 70 positive posts appeared on Trustpilot at exactly the same time as each other. Coincidence? Now my negative review is out of view.

I sent a box of items to vintage cashcow before sending i went on line to see the value of each item i boxed some worth £1 some worth £100 some nothing at all I then sent them off to Vintage Cashcow in the hope of receiving the same value the insult was an offer of £28 i asked for the return of my items and noticed two 9 carat gold rings missing valuation approx £15 to £100 each, some of the items returned I took to an auction near me and had them valued all amounting to approx £150 to £200 this would have satisfied me if Vintage cashcow offered me the same amount

I was searching to get post details as wax going to send some stuff but have always hesitated in past. Now. This is an absolute no. I’ll go local. Thanks to all for posting their experiences. Offers of less than £50 for valuables is just pure insult. Vintage Cash Cow you really need to clean up your act. Maybe we should get one of the consumer protection shoes in to you. Eh?

I sent a box of fairly good stuff to try them out. They offered me £30. I asked them to send my box back. Amongst the items I sent were 3 clocks with dome covers, 2 working perfectly, 3 necklaces, 1 x 9 ct. Gold with tiny forget-me-nots in china, 2 x in silver 1 with pink flowers a glass chess set and some small crystal items. When my stuff returned, Those items were all missing. The few that they returned were wrapped appallingly and covered in brown sticky tape. On contacting them they argued that, because there was glass in the box, their insurance would not cover anything. I still haven't got the answer to why was my stuff pinched. Don't use them they are no good. I only gave them one star because it was the only way I could use this site. They don't deserve even one star.

The offer was an insult, and when it was returned some items were broken. We contacted cash cow who informed us that the items were not covered by their insurance. Be warned before using them

Sent a box full of items to cash cow. They made an offer I didn't accept. They sent to box of items back. When I opened the box to check the contents. Some of the more expensive items I had put in were missing. I contacted cash cow but they weren't interested. So be very aware that cash cow are not a reputable company. My items were stolen by them when I didn't accept there offer

LOOK WHAT THEY SENT ME AFTET STEALING MY PRECIOUS STONES!! WORTHY £ 200!! DO NOT SEND ANYTHING PLEASE! Dear Grazia, Thank you for raising your experience with your recent return. I understand your frustration and can assure you this is not something we take lightly here at Vintage Cash Cow. After a thorough investigation into the handling of your items including an internal audit of the warehouse using the images you provided I regret to inform you that I have been unable to locate the missing gemstones. I understand this is incredibly disappointing and sincerely apologise that we are unable to return these items to you. Please be assured the staff that handled your items have been given direct feedback that more care must be taken to ensure instances like this do not occur, it has been relayed the way your parcel was returned to you was unacceptable and fell short of our standards. To make this right, we’d like to offer you compensation of £35 for the missing gemstones as a full and final settlement to the matter. Please let me know if this is something you wish to accept. Thank you for your patience and understanding as this may not be the resolution you were seeking. I went to a valuation day by vintage cash cow, with a trolley full (covered a whole table when unpacked) of high quality vintage collectibles, including a very large solid brass vintage foo dog/dragon, (worth several hundreds), rare vintage/antique Japanese netsukes, (worth over £100 each), quality cloisonné items, and more. all in perfect condition, no damage to any of them. the so called 'expert' gave my table a 5 seconds glance and said: I can offer you £30 for the whole table. I was shocked and appalled. he said: that brass is only worth £12. I said: but it's worth much more than its value as 'scrap', and surely the other vintage items won't be 'scrapped'!... he said that this is his offer. I immediately packed and left. they may be a 'legitimate' company, but they have ZERO integrity, nor any honesty or decency. they shamelessly, routinely and knowingly, (literally as their business format), screw gullible or desperate people of their valuable items. I'm glad I wasn't desperate, and I could afford to wait till the items sold separately online, for their fair worth. (I sold the brass foo for £300, and the netsukes for £120-£200, and the other items on the table for apx. £10-£50 each). no fair and genuine expert would have only offered £30 in total for all of that!...

Wouldn't put any stars if possible. 25 items apparently worth £27. Box return but somehow the Victorian locket, the antique gold tiger ring and a slim gold necklace and a silver rope necklace didn't want to leave Cash Cow?.. so must be running around the warehouse. Could you please find them and return them ASAP. Maybe they've jumped into someone's pocket to play hide and seek. Please tell them it's time to be returned to their rightful owner now or they are making things can look very suspicious.
