"AVOID THIS DECEITFUL SCAM COMPANY.\r\n\r\nI received my free tracked label, and the next day I carefully packaged my items a pair of 1980s Dior earrings, 1980s Monet earrings, and 2000s Chanel sunglasses in an original Chanel box, then sent them securely using the provided label. I tracked my parcel the next day and confirmed they received it.\r\n\r\nThe following day on the 13th of February, I had a scheduled call between 3 and 4pm. When I finally received the call at 15:45pm, it turned out to be an AI automated system not an actual person, that repeatedly asked, \u201cCan I confirm I\u2019m speaking to Lily?\u201d no matter how many times I said \u201cyes.\u201d After about twenty attempts, it started to ring a few times and then suddenly cut off with an error message. Unbelievable!\r\nI immediately emailed the company asking them to contact me via email instead since their AI automated phone system clearly wasn\u2019t working. (They never responded to my email)\r\n\r\nSoon after, I received a text saying, \u201cIt was great talking to you.\u201d Is that meant to be a joke? YOU NEVER SPOKE TO ME!\r\nThen soon after that, through WhatsApp, I got an another message stating they valued my items at \u00a327.\r\nVintage Chanel and Dior for \u00a327? IS THAT MEANT TO BE ANOTHER JOKE?!\r\nThese are luxury designer pieces worth hundreds. Not jewellery\/sunglasses from Claire\u2019s.\r\nOffering \u00a327 for authentic vintage designer items is absurd and DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. \r\nI, of course, declined, only to get another automated message asking if I was sure about my decision clearly another joke. Yes I am sure I don\u2019t want to give my designer items to you for free.\r\n\r\nIn short, this company wants your valuable items for free pretty much, they claim if you have a welcome call that they will offer a higher valuation of your items, but when you have a welcome call it\u2019s a AI automated system that just cuts you off after a few rings, and when you email this company they don\u2019t even respond to your email, when you text their WhatsApp it is also automated and says either call them or email, even when you go on their website and go on their live chat it claims that they are \u201caway\u201d. \r\n\r\nIf you value your possessions, do not send them to Vintage Cash Cow. You\u2019re far better off selling on eBay etc yourself.\r\n\r\nFrankly, the company should be changed from Vintage Cash Cow to Vintage Scammers because they seem to treat their customers like the real cash cows.\r\n\r\nPS if I don\u2019t receive all my items back all intact or missing or not received at all and you continuously ignore my emails. I will be filing a police report against you for theft! \ud83d\udc9c"

“The whole process was easy, we were kept informed at each stage. The staff were very friendly and professional. From posting our parcel to receiving and accepting our offer, the cash was in our bank within a week! A great way of clearing out unwanted items.”

“What I sent for my son was in your opinion worth 10 pounds I should of asked for it back as you know and I know as a ex seller / buyer now retired 2 of the many items was a steal”

Hi Mike, thanks for leaving us a review. We do not deny that customers can sometimes profit better using other services, such as an auction. However, you are correct in that using an auction would be much more effort. Where we excel is making the decluttering experience a hassle-free and efficient one. We make decluttering as simple as having your box of items collected from your door! I hope that if you were not satisfied with your offer, you chose to have your items returned as we'd never want a customer to accept an offer that they're unhappy with. “Great way to get a bit extra cash I only sent what I thought was rubbish things like broken earings gold n some little brass pots beads broken watches ect”

“Very quick to get my goods but was very disappointed with the value. Managed to get a couple of my items back, however I rang back the same day to ask for a particular item back for which I knew was worth a great deal more than they offered and was told it was too late. Very disappointed. I hate being ripped off!!”

We do detail in our Terms and Conditions how items are processed once an offer has been accepted, and these explain that the items are separated it is not possible to decline or request items to be returned, as by accepting an offer you are entering into a binding legal contract in which the ownership of the items transfers to our company. All of our offers are made with zero obligation to accept, and I only wish you had chosen to decline your offer outright and have your items returned to you, as we never want any customer to feel this way after accepting an offer from us. “Very pleasant to deal with but the offer was ridiculously low - £42 for two very large boxes of silver plated items in mint condition.plus other items. I didn't have to take the offer and they wouldn't reconsider it so I accepted and the cheque was with me in a few days”

“The first box I sent I got a reasonable amount. The second and third box I got pittance no where near what it was worth so had items sent back. I doubt I will be using Vintage Cash Cow again. The last two amounts were an insult.”

“Great service, clear at every stage. Friendly call team too. The only improvement I could think to make would be to offer at the clients expense a return of the items not purchased. Often you pop something in the box to see if it has value but wouldn’t mind it back if it didn’t.”

Hi Denise, As a service, we do not claim to be the best place to sell for the highest price. Many customers use us to sell items in bulk as we are easy, quick and efficient. We do not market ourselves as a scrap merchant because that is not what we are, we're a bulk decluttering service that specialises in buying and selling vintage items. We also do not hide the fact that we buy items on with the intention to sell them on for a profit.
