“horerndous customer service, poorly designed processes and website. even if connection is good, it's such a rubbish company and it does not deserve my money”
“I am extremely disappointed with Vodafone's service. I had a broadband contract with them in 2022. After moving houses and the contract ending, I discovered unauthorized charges on my bank account despite having fully settled my dues. There was no communication or notification about these charges.
When I contacted customer support to resolve the issue, they refused to help because I couldn't remember a security question. This lack of assistance and poor customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend Vodafone to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service.”
“Travelled into Vodafone Glasgow Buchanan Street to try to sort out an issue with mums phone contact with Vodafone...she is at present in hospital. Its a new contract & phone but her Internet data has run out at a tremendous rate she now received messages from Vodafone asking her to take on more data.
She is 83yrs of age does a little bit of Facebook...no YouTube etc.
I went into Vodafone Glasgow Buchanan Street store to ask for help with the issue as mums in hospital only to be met by an obnoxious staff member...a nasty female constantly telling me mum would have to get out of hospital and get into the Vodafone store to sort it out. We both have been customers of Vodafone for 30 hrs but we'll be cancelling both contracts and find a supplier who actually cares about their customers...shocking company!!!!”
“I can see vodaphone losing many customers I have read most of these reviews and it seems like everyone has similar problem. My friend had £360 taken from her account because she cancelled contract more than once due to vodaphone keep taking money out on wrong days early most of the time. she phoned up several times about this, then being overdrawn and the bank then charging her for this. she is on pip because of disabilities and I have to keep bailing her out for food electric ect. we have been to a vodaphone shop and all we got was we cant deal with it here YOU NEED TO PHONE UP. THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT CARE AVOID IF POSSIBLE. She ended up going pay as you go and internet did not work very well so she is going to change supplier now so many problems they do not listen or care about customers.”
“Hi everyone,
it is the worst network but not the best!!😕😕😤
I still have six months of contract with them and after these six months I will close with them and I don't want to hear from them anymore, they are profiteers of people and a network greedy for money…!!!
I signed up with them for £17 a month and now they've added an extra £3.97 to that £17, you're going to run out of customers and that's what I want…😕😕
now im paying £20.97 for just 2GB mobile data its just a joke🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
the Three network is the best🤝👌👍👍👍🫶
🤯🤯🤬🤬”
“I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling issue with my monthly bill. It seems that I have been overbilled by QR.250 this month, even though my postpaid plan is set at QR.140 monthly.
Last month, I had a pending amount of QR.250, which I settled promptly by the end of the month. However, I have been charged the same amount again in the current billing cycle.
I am disappointed with the level of service I have received, as my attempts to seek clarification through phone calls have been unsuccessful. Furthermore, I encountered problems when I tried to switch from a prepaid to a postpaid SIM, as your team requested an additional payment of QR.100.”
“It happened twice with Vodafone, you agree to a specific bundle locking a monthly price for a year, then after one or 2 months they start retrieving a higher amount from the direct debit without any notice.
To contact them it’s nearly impossible to speak to a human, when you manage to you reach someone it’s just to inform you that it’s is within their rights as it is in alignment with CPI( not sure which CPI they measure as the monthly rate goes up almost every 2 months) and they then tell you that this was mentioned in the contract and you cannot stop the direct debit and you signed to pay for a year the agreed amount + whatever increase they impose ‘in alignment in CPI’.”
“well l have got one of your dongals and which l was reconmended and christ you have gone very slow lately why and l am seriously thinking about getting another provider”
“No words for how bad this company is. Have spent 8hrs on one day (not kicking) on phone .it’s just your worst customer service (no service) nightmare. I can only warn others good luck - if warning ignored you will need it.”
“Bought a contract via a 3rd party. Vodafone confirmed the agreement in writing then flatly refused to provide the data allowance stated in the contract. Disgraceful attitude. Contract cancelled and won't be wasting 20mins on the phone to them again.”
“I took an 18 month broadband contract with Vodafone July 2018. 3 months later after countless calls to Vodafone, 3 OpenReach engineer visits & a booster later, I could not get a working service in my property and I advised I had to leave due to non-working service.
I was charged an early termination fee of £215 which I tried to dispute but to no avail. This amount later defaulted and sold to Lowell July 2019, despite my account being closed with Vodafone Sept 2018.
I paid this debt in full by November 2021, however to this day (5th May 2024) the £215 is still in arreers with Vodafone. Im not happy this amount is still under my name with Vodafone despite being paid nearly 3.5 years ago!
I do not believe I was in the wrong to leave Vodafone, I gave them ample opportunities over 3 months -I work from home so need a working internet connection, I wanted them to implement a service but OpenReach advised the signal just would not reach my house - I never had an issue with any other provider. Why should I be expected to pay for a service I cannot receive?!
As you will be wondering, why has this taken so long.. This is topped off with bringing proof of Lowell's payment confirmation into the nearest Vodafone store 30mins away, dozens of calls to Vodafone this year alone (easy 1hr+ each time), being passed from pillar to post between Vodafone & Lowell because "it is not up to us to contact them, they must contact us", Vodafone cannot help by phone, advised I can send a screenshot via chat to TOBi online, "you need to go instore", go instore and told "you need to phone" yada yada... circling round & round & round, re-explaining my situation to each person, getting cut off calls & needing to phone back, rinse, repeat. Asking for an email is completely absurd, then round & round I go again.”
“Absolutely useless! Couldn't cancel my contract. Tried for three months and they were still charging me. They lied and said I failed to provide proper log in details . Just keep clear of this company. There are a lot better companies that are honest.”
“If I could give them one star I would, I’m not sure why they’re allowed to be a company or who is a CEO Shadi work really bad indeed do not trust them. They are con artists they lie and cheat. They begged me to stay and not switch pretty provider then . Stole my money lied about and now I’m filing to receive recorded calls. I want to leave because of how badly I’ve been lied to you.”
“5hrs of phone calls to Vodafone. Requested a better deal with broadband and SIM and transfer the account to my partners name as they deal with the house bills. Nightmare going through security checks each department you speak to. Absolutely total shambles. Was told that a SIM deal did not exist that I wanted, even though it was on a Vodafone website, even a manager said the SIM deal was not available and then apologised and said it was available to new customers and he said staff needed training. Then he said it was too much hassle to change the SIM deal over and I should just accept the deal set up. Then they had to transfer the contract to my partners name and messed that up, finally we received an email with the new contract and it's wrong. After 5hrs on the phone I lost the will to live, if you treasure your sanity avoid Vodafone. Even when I went through to their complaints email system, it timed out and I had to write it all again...god knows what mess they will make of my complaint...I'm dreading them calling me back, I have a headache and Im so tense I could scream!!! 0 stars if I could.”
