Small print not mentioned on add for "free"global roaming, it doesn't apply when on ships or ferries when your sailing between otherwise free destinations. The charge is five pounds a day.

I needed my phone unlocked, was told to go to the shop in town. They said it had to be done on line. This required filling in a form and including an IMEI number. I couldn't find it and tried to ring them. Three different numbers and all with the same message. Finally was told by a robot that I needed a PEK number, I held on but the message said it was unavailable. Not once was I able to speak to a human. I rang my son at work and he said the number was probably on the box and it was, thankful I never threw it out. Now I have to wait days for them to do something about unlocking it. Dreadful customer service, they should be ashamed...

Rubbish, gone right down hill. Fob you off between each other. I always thought the customer was always right!!!!!

Oh dear ,where do I start. Changed from talktalk as I was with vodaphone mobile and decided to have a one collective account. Firstly they lost my phone number from talktalk, I was told to have a word with talktalk about recovering my number, one can only imagine what talktalk said to me. I was told at ordering that I would get evening and weekend calls with my plan, this was not the case ,however they did offer me compensation. Regarding my phone I was on pay monthly and when my contract ended I was offered a sim only account if I was happy with the phone which at the time I was, however since then the battery is failing affecting the camera. I was told when offered sim only that I could upgrade my phone at any time, not the case, they claim I am tied into a sim only contract and would have to pay or wait to upgrade. I should never have moved to vodaphone and cant wait to leave them.

The staff member in the Vodafone shop who sold me the phone was very pleasant and attentive. He confirmed that to unlock the phone I would only need to activate it and 30 days later I could fill in the form to apply for the unlocking. I did that. And I filled in the form. I got an automated email that I haven't been with them for 30 days. I filled the form again - same response. I emailed them (hoping to speak with a real human being), I got a differently phrased response with the same contents. Again and again. And there's been no development on the issue yet! I was planning to get another phone from them. But not anymore!

Iv been with Vodaphone for well over 10 years and majority of this time its been fine. Last month I got my daughter her 1st mobile phone as she's starting secondary school. She obviously on it all the time and apparently gone WELL over her data (£195 to be exact!!) Iv just spoken to Vodaphone and asked if they'll waiver any of it, which they cant which is fare enough as she's used it!! What is making really angry is the fact if I do a payment plan to pay off this bill in this time my daughter or 1 WONT be able to use our mobiles until the bill has been paid off. I'm absolutely speechless to be honest and the fact my bills each month are £17. Absolutely no loyalty what so ever for a customer that been with the company well over 10 years. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! Just to top it off when the complaints were trying to put me through the cancellation team they actually cut me off nice!!!

Hello, Terrible, i have been with vodafone for over 15 yrs and for the most part the service has been very good. However, in the last couple of yrs i have noticed there is a fundamantal issue. Everytime i call vodafone now (and i mean every time which several times in last couple of yrs) i have received inconsistant information from your agents regarding whatever query/issue/request i have. There appears to be little syncing of information between departments or systems or something. For example.. A few months back i started a new contract and the agent /system put me on the wrong tariff which was much less data allowance than we had agreed. When i realised a i called in and spoke to several people in an effort to sort it out (one lady even said my account was a mess! ) and was told that tariff i thought i was on wasnt available anymore and that i would have to upgrade midway through my contract if i wanted more data ..which i did..i was told the upgrade was successful..only to find after a couple of attempts on the phone with vodafone..that i am still on the original tariff with insufficient data.. Seriously what is going on?!..not just with my account. I cant blame any one individual agent as when i talk to them they seem to know what they are doing but when i then speak to someone else the system has not registered what has been done by the previous agent. I have started advising the agents of my concerns and they dont seem surprised and are not trying to help me understand where the issue lies which is leading me to believe that this is a common problem that they are just not admitting to. I will take my custom elsewhere.

I rung up 5 weeks ago and ordered there new Fibre broadband. The agent that raised my order , raised it incorrectly. The broadband team then cancelled my order without my knowledge. This then happened again , and no communication has been made with me. After 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything so I rung up and chased this up. The box got sent out the next day , but I still haven't heard anything. So I have just rung up and there is further delay. They have now booked me in but didnt even confirm an appointment time. This is a wide appointment slot and they cant narrow down the time, but if i miss it i could get a charge. (surely they should let me know the appointment time then) How could i be charged for missing an appointment that i didn't know i had. I appreciate there wifi (no line) is a new product, but Vodafone need to give their staff the adequate training to deal with this . On my experience so far , i certainly wouldn't recommend vodafone

I took out a two-year contract. After eight months they told me their monthly tariff would be increased which I thought would be a breach of the contract.. So I called them and asked to break my contract. They said I could not do that without penalty. So it seems they can break the contract but I cannot. Watch out at the beginning. They will give you a cheap deal to start with but check the data allowance which will be really low. After a couple of months they will tell you you are using too much data and they are going to charge you extra - a lot extra. You have been a sprat to catch a big fat mackerel. I think this goes under the heading of a con or a scam. Either way it's immoral. Don't use them.

Been with vodafone over 30 years wont be staying. Got 3 numbers on contact 2 of which has recently been upgraded but so much hassle and false promises. I qualify for loyalty discount but on my daughter's they added 20% on instead of deducting it. They assured me my sons was discounted it wasn't. I was promised 10gig i am only getting 8gig and awaiting a management call back, promised but not yet recieved. This is the last time with this unprofessional outfit. Regards Mr Swift

Vodafone are useless their staff do not interact with each other I had s rather unusual high bill due to my daughters over usage they were no help what so ever regarding the situation the staff just pass tiu around and I. Some cases putting the phone down on me !!!

I have been with vodafone along time...had problem with phone in Feb ...made special journey to Carlisle store after failing to solve it using online chat support. ..three staff in store not serving anyone...they said could not help almost immediately ...didnt even look at my phone ! Very disappointed ...will review my network provider !

Have just walked out of the Newbury store after being ignored by the 7 members of staff who preferred chasing to each other than serve me. I was te only customer in the store! Unbelievably poor customer service
