Trying to upgrade my phone using a discount code for £8/month but then at the end it won't allow it as the plan is already discounted by £3 so I'm out of pocket by £5/month. Seems a bit of a con to me. Furthermore when try to place the order without the discount code, it stillwon't allow the order to go through saying I need to change the plan details. Wasted hours on this , online and talking to customer support onthe phone and still no resolution.

Vodaphone had got my contract setup wrong right from the start in January 2019! it is now June 2020 .... ans still no resolution. I have phone them many times, wrote 2 letters of complaint, had atleast 4 webchats .... but nothing has been done. There are too many lazy people with foreign accents & English ones too that just pass the buck or cut you off, even go to the lenghts to promise you to call you within 24 to 48 hours - and guess what ... they dont call! Ive switched to 02 today on one of the accounts and hope to switch the second one by the end of this month. Vodaphone is an abhysmal provider, full of unqualified and bad mannered people. There are better Providers (some worse tan others) - thwrefore please do shop around. Botton line is that if you are NOT happy with your Provider then JUST MOVE!!

I think the trading standards need to look into Vodafone stores, as I was sold a phone and after a week the plastic started warping in a curve after it had been on charge. I went to the Swindon store thinking they knew people had consumer rights and would change it for me, and he was really rude, saying I must have sat on it, when plastic doesn't bend like that without breaking by sitting on it. I said that I didn't sit on it, and then he said I must have done it another way such as putting it in a bag and all they would do is send it away and I would have to pay for it. I was quite upset how a company I had been with for so long treated me like that and thought it might have been a one off bad assistant, so went to the Chippenham store. That assistant also talked to me like an idiot. He also didn't know people have consumer rights and told me I would have to pay for a faulty phone to be fixed. Now the screen has come away from the back with a big gap and is starting to crack. They will probably tell me soon that it's too late to do anything. All I can think of doing now is contacting trading standards.

Was on pay as you go to try it. Then tried to move to pay monthly with 6 gig data. Put in new sim it only had 3 gig. So cancelled contract. They then said it was 6 gig. then said to get 5 gig it would another £3. gave up after that spent 4 hours on customer service at various times being transferred around different advisers. In the end. Did not get contract will try a different net work.

I received a sales call in the week from vodafone asking whether I wanted to add the landline and broadband to my mobile package. When the salesman was going through my mobile account with me, we realised that I had been charged £20 per month from March for a bolt on for Broadband that I had requested as a once off- and yet Vodafone had continued to charge me £20 for the bolt on as an additional monthly charge. He told me that to get the money refunded since I had not requested an ongoing bolt on, then I should ring customer services. Which I did today- Well after being on the phone with a representative for over 35 minutes all she managed to do was cancel the bolt an and offer me a compensation of £30 in credit- despite the fact that I had been charged almost £100 for a bolt on, that I had not requested. She tried to insinuate that it was actually my fault that it had been ongoing because I should have checked my bill! I have been with vodafone for over 20 years and to receive this kind of unhelpful and unapologetic treatment from them is entirely unacceptable. I have now cancelled my broadband and my landline and as soon as the contract for my mobile expires, I will cancel and take my business elsewhere. I cannot believe that they have not seen fit to reimburse me in full when the error was theirs and they can clearly see from my usage that the bolt on was only purchased at a time that my landline/ home broadband was not working, and waiting for BT to repair it which was in fact less than one month. The fact that they continued to charge me £20 per month after that and will now not refund me is disgusting and entirely unacceptable and reeks of daylight robbery!

They are not customer orientated. The monthly charge doubled and I asked to get a better deal. They told me they could not offer a better deal. I then found a suitable deal elsewhere. Vodafone made it very difficult for me to get the pac code. First the shop gave me the wrong information. Then chat kept me on chat for 40 minutes before giving me a PAC code that was wrong. They kept stalling and saying I could get a better deal with them. Then I rang to get my code to keep my number and had to get cross to get the number. Again they kept wanting to offer me a better deal and not leave, rather than doing what I was asking for. After finally leaving they sent me a text to offer a deal 40% less than what they said was the best price they had. When I told the staff in a Vodafone shop of how frustrating I found the hole process, let alone time consuming, they did not apologise and refused to acknowledge that their business practice is unfriendly to their customers.

Been a loyal customer with 3 family lines with them! On trying to reduce my monthly bill ended up being quoted £0.50 per line more! Gavin who just did not want to listen, just wanted to finish the call by reading the t&cs . Whoever would ring up to reduce their bill and end up more expensjve! Teach your staff to listen and value your customers. They may not always be yours.

Beware when signing up to Vodafone's Red Hot Deals. You think your getting a good deal, but really you will pay the agreed reduce "deal" price for the first month and then the regular price for the rest of the 11 months in your agreed contract. I was supposed to pay £19.50 for 16GB of data - as i signed up to this deal back in April 2017 - my fault for not checking earlier but now I see I have been paying £30+ per month - make sure you check this!

Vodafone is aware of a scamming company who obtains your number through illegitimate methods and then charges you a subscription. Not only are Vodafone unwilling to refund illegal charges they also allow this company to run their service via Vodafone's platform. Psa authorities advised me that Vodafone needs to step up and take responsibility for these matters as they are knowingly allowing this to happen. Makes you wonder what's in it for them? Smells like back handers to me!

Getting through to someone on their customer service is hopeless. Just a warren of voice commands leading to another menu. Sort it out! Also, why can I not get reception in the middle of the west end or city with regularity?
