"Surprise surprise they refused to fix\r\nmy car\r\ntook out car finance and they\r\nincluded this scam company\r\nwarranty wise. I paid 1200 for the\r\nhighest cover over 2 years. 6 months\r\nlater my car has an oil leak. So I read\r\nwhat my warranty covers and it says\r\noil leaks. So I take it to my local\r\ngarage and I was warned by a\r\ncustomer who dealt with warranty\r\nwise before that warranty wise are\r\nscammers and will use the excuse its\r\nwear and tear to not pay you. The car\r\nwas at the garage 4 days!! until\r\nwarranty wise decided they're not\r\ngoing to pay for it fixing due to.....\r\nyou guessed it, wear and tear. They\r\ndon't actually cover anything. They\r\nalways use the excuse wear and tear.\r\nThey take your money and will never\r\never pay for your car fixing. Do not ever use this company. AA are the\r\nones to go with. I'm now in contact\r\nwith my lawyer to sue them for my\r\nremaining money back as they've just\r\nbasically scammed me. Please please\r\nplease stay well away from this\r\ncompany, they will steal your hard\r\nearned money!!! So l've been without\r\na car for 4 days. I paid \u00a31200 for a fake\r\nwarranty and I'm now over \u00a31000 down\r\nin repair bills!!! Get ready for warranty\r\nwise to reply to this with we're very\r\nsorry to hear this bla bla bla rubbish\r\nAVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!\r\nYOU'VE BEEN WARNED\r\n\r\nABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL"

"I'm disappointed without even needing to claim, no faults with my vehicle but I've got a few signs that made me to not trust this company. I'm only on my first week of cover and they keep calling me and hang out all the time after I answer then once I call them back they keep me on hold for long time then they do the same. I tried another number and told them but they didn't really cared about. When I asked them about my cover I've been told to look on the booklet, no interest of being helpful in any way. I doubt I'll get any help if I need to use the cover. I lost my trust and I'm canceling my Platinum cover within the first 14 days. Better no cover than covered by the wrong company at my expenses! I tried online as well and it's a waste of time, waiting too long for a basic answer after providing all the details they asked for!"

"Currently in a battle over a premature failure of bearings in my cars turbo. Continually refusing to pay out even with my mechanic stating categorically this is a premature failure they keep trying to say there must have been an oil leak. My mechanic has very clearly told them there was no leak. \r\nSlippery business, very shady. \r\nI've emailed Watchdog but also interestingly enough, for anyone on here to follow up with via ombudsman or court. \r\nI've found a job advert for their 'Technicians' role. The job of dealing with looking over the mechanics report and deciding if the repair goes ahead. The vacancy specifically states, \"no mechanical knowledge required\" * I've attached the screenshot, along with another one from a Facebook sponsored ad with Edd China. In the comments someone asked what he has to do with the company. I've screenshot the conversation where Warrantywise state he is \" contracted by us to act as our final arbiter in claims. If you are dissatisfied you can speak to Edd directly about your repair.\" \r\nQuite a thing to divulge, so obviously I contacted Edd via his Facebook page as Warrantywise conveniently don't give a contact address. I'll update if he responds. \r\nHowever, if anyone is interested, BBC Watchdog are very interested in the dealings of this company. Email them your story. \r\nGood luck all. \r\nRachel"
