“I like the convenience of adding this to my pool. One thing I find is a daily check of the pool by the device is excessive and as far as I can tell, I can't change. This leads to the cartridges being replaced more often costing me more in the long run. Prior to adding this device to my pool I tested weekly. If this can be changed it would be a 5 star rating.”
“When it works it’s great. I validate the measurements using other methods and the two sets of data match. Unfortunately, I’m now on my third unit. The first stopped communicating. The second unit was exposed to large amounts of rock dust ( sawing pavers around the pool) and eventually the motor bound up and ate batteries. This one was my fault. The first failure was a failure in the unit.”
“This product is easy to setup. Just put batteries in, setup Wi-Fi, and go. I look at my phone and see how the chemical results of my pool instantly. It also measures the pump strength which gives me an idea of whether I need to empty my skimmer basket or not. This is an amazing product that I look forward to using all summer long.
I contacted customer support because I could not connect my guru because it had been owned by someone else. I purchased it from an auction. I had no way of contacting the previous owner. Initially, customer service did not resolve the issue, and kind of left me hanging a bit. but with further pestering and sending it to a higher level customer service area, the issue was resolved. Thank you so much for doing that. I absolutely LOVE it!!”
“The system provides mixed readings at times. Often the home screen does not match the pool status screen.
Once you reach 5 weeks of use on a Smart Cartridge, the system does not measure levels every night.
Sometimes the system will measure temperature and flow but not free chlorine and pH.
The maximum life of a cartridge for me has been 6 weeks.”
“I like the product but the support is woefully inadequate. I've sent 2 water samples in and never received a response. I've had questions and left messages and got no reply. If you could develop a chemical delivery system that would attach to the inflow by the pump I would purchase it immediately. The current system sitting over the skimmer on the pool deck doesn't work.”
“The WaterGuru Treat and WaterGuru Sense are good products doing their tasks with minimum interactions with me. I am able to take weekend trips without worrying that my pool water will become unbalanced. Their phone app is relatively easy to use.”
