“Rude delivery driver - appalling customer service experience.
My item arrived over an hour early and the deliery guy was lucky I was already home to receive it.
I pressed release on the outer door of the apartment block on his first buzz and spoke saying yes, thanks, but he still held the buzzer for a second time. I walked over and released it again - holding down the button to enable him to get through. He buzzed again for a third time holding down the buzzer aggressively (so weird) and then a fourth time. I'm just stood there at the speaker thining WTAF are you doing? He never spoke, greeted me, the paying customer. I've taken a photo of his unmarked DHL van and reported him there too.
A bot could have done better and hopefully will!! I will also think twice before ordering from Wayfair - don't want to deal with DH-ELL!”
“Ordered a Sofa, was given a delivery slot. Got rid of our old sofa ready. Sofa didn't arrive, but given a new date the following week. Sofa didn't arrive, told Sofa was lost in transit... Didn't offer any resolution, no options. I won't use them again!”

“Ordered a table with a glass top..it arrived with a hole in the box and the glass was smashed completely.. no markings on the box to indicate that the contents were fragile or made of glass..when I contacted wayfair about the damage..I was directed by an employee of wayfair to a tech support website..which charged £1 to advice me..which was ok..3 days later another £35 was taken from my account..so be very aware when contacting wayfair to complain..”
“Bought a bed frame and less than 2.5 years ago and the leg holding the frame has completely sheered off and the support has also broken off. I paid over £600 for it and they have said it is my problem. You would expect a bed frame to last at least 5-10 years at the very minimum. I will never use Wayfair again and I highly suggest you avoid at all costs.”

They delivered a table. It had missing parts. They said 3 weeks for the missing parts to arrive. We said send a new table. They did. When they delivered it they refused to pick the old one up. Took over 200 mails to finally get it picked up. Although they sent the team to a house we lived at 6 years ago about 100 miles away which wasn't the one to which it was originally delivered. Utterly, utterly useless.
They agreed a refund in writing now refusing to honour that too!!!”
“I ordered a ‘fully assembled’ bookcase. The delivery arrived a lot later than they said it would. It was a flat pack, so assembly required. I was very unhappy with this and the return policy as I have to pay to have the item returned. This is false advertisement, false description of product.”
“Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered a sofa that was supposed to arrive in 6 weeks (it arrived 2 weeks late) . The delivery process was a complete mess: one day I was told it would come the next day, then I was told it wouldn’t. There was constant confusion and zero clear communication.
On the actual day it was finally meant to arrive, I was home waiting, only to receive a notification saying the delivery had been “missed” even though no one knocked or rang. The driver apparently couldn’t find me and instead of trying again, they decided to cancel the order and refund me. I called the driver and asked him to come back (he was literally around the corner, or so he claimed), but he refused.
To make things worse, they only gave me a partial refund and told me to reorder the same sofa which now costs £400 more. I am left without a sofa, no real help, and extra stress thanks to their incompetence.
I have no words for this level of service. They didn’t resolve the issue, they made it worse. Be very careful if you’re thinking of ordering from them.”
“Currently in the middle of trying to do a return. They have severely incompetent at every turn. Do not buy from them as the delivery/pickup for return will never materialise”
“Very very disappointed. We ordered a dining table at the end of December and it never turned up. When we ordered it we weren’t told it was out of stock. We waited eight weeks, and it became apparent that we weren’t getting our table.
The table was then replaced on the website with a new version that was almost identical but three hundred pounds more expensive. But Wayfair wouldn’t honour our order and told us we could have a refund. I am very upset as we waited 8 weeks for a table that never came, and we can’t afford the new version.
Wayfair shouldn’t be allowed to advertise items they don’t have and they shouldn’t be allowed to string people along. This company is utterly unreliable and I will never trust them again. Buyer’s beware.”

“We never received the item and being lied over and over.
We have ordered sofa in November with delivery on 20th December.
The delivery date changed 5 times. I have chased the order and I was assured that it has been dispatched on 17th December. We even got a tracking details (when I clicked on it, it was in German and it did not make any sense at al)
I have been on a chat with the customer service probably 8-10 times and I was told over and over that the case has been escalated, that the item has been dispatched, then it was out of stock, then issue in a warehouse and it actually never been dispatched......the excuses go on and on and on
Cut the story short, they have our money, for 2 months now, we were promised the sofa. I was told on 5th Jan that it will be send from a superior warehouse and will be with us on 9.1, because there was an issue with the other warehouse.!!!! I am not sure what does that mean and why this has not been offered before.
I check the status on the delivery, which completely changed again and contacted customer service AGAIN on 6.1.
I was told that there is a banner on the item and could not be sent! After being told the day before that we will get it this week. So it had to be escalated again to remove the banner. It may apparently take up to 3 working days to remove the banner.
Their excuse is that they are using third party company.
What an absolute shambles. I won't be ever using Wayfair again.”
