“I purchased a dressing table from this company in November, it was advertised on the website as grey, when it arrived it was beige. I contacted the company who asked for videos/photos of the items which I sent to them. After numerous messages back & forth from Amy I was informed that they would arrange a collection. The dressing table was finally collected in January!! It is now the 9th February and we still haven't been refunded. The excuse being is the courier company hasn't delivered the item back to Weilai, although they arranged the courier? My concern is where have the goods been all this time. Welia have said I will receive a refund once they receive the goods back & have inspected them. I would never buy from this company again! It is a drop shipping business, looks like goods come direct from China and you can't call Weilai concept, all communication is through whats app. I have now had to raise a case with my bank. Lesson learned always use credit card that way I would have raised a case through them straight away.”

“Bought a chair from them, after seeing it reviewed on YT and after a few months, the armrests/leather started to come off. Emailed them, and they told me issues need to be raised within 14 days of purchase, so pretty much tough luck. Really regret buying from them. Since then, the seat cushion has gone flat, and I've had to buy a seat pillow.
I hate throwing things away and waste but this chair is now unusable.”

“AVOID, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! if I could give no stars I would. We ordered a sofa from Weilai. When it arrived it was not as advertised. Very uncomfortable and not useable as a sofa. The sofa cushion you are meant to sit on rests behind the front wooden panel so your legs are resting on hard wood as opposed to the online image of where the cushion sits on top of the wooden front panel. We contacted Weilai for a refund. They were very awkward. They refuse to pick up the sofa and tried to charge us more to pick it up. We even contacted citizens Advice for help and they have reported the company to Trading Standards as their positive reviews are mainly AI generated and they hide the negative and refuse to honor refunds. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! We have had to go through the credit card company to get our money back, and yet they still refuse to pick up the sofa. Plus side the mechanism was good to extend to a bed and the people who delivered were great.”

Was not as advertised, and following our consumer rights we immediately started the return process.
Weilai have been nothing but unhelpful, requesting us to package the bought items to a miles higher standard than when they were delivered. Boxes were already damaged (delivery photos will show this).
Threatening us with pictures (of how item was packed on delivery) - showing a totally different set of sofa(s)/items.
We will be taking legal action - as what we bought was not as advertised, and we're protected under the consumer's act. Very unhelpful company - with no complaints/returns policies in order - and no interest in following UK law.
Would recommend anyone to stay away and purchase their furniture elsewhere.”

“I booked an appointment specifically to view the Vera Dining Table & Chairs (Sintered Stone White) and drove nearly 2 hours to the showroom. When I arrived, I was told it was impossible to view that particular item, despite my booking being for it. Instead, I was told the booking was only to see “similar” items for quality, but none of the pieces in the showroom were even remotely similar.
When I pointed out that I had booked to see that particular item, the staff member’s response was, “but you have an idea, so just make your order.”
The experience itself was very unprofessional. The staff member stayed seated at the entrance with a Red Bull in his hand, never joined us in the showroom, and only advised me to place the order online. He also said the product could take up to 2 months to arrive — without me ever having the chance to see it in person. On top of that, the few items they did have in the showroom were of very poor quality, which made me lose confidence in ordering from them at all.
Overall, the website booking process is misleading, the showroom is extremely limited with low-quality items, and the customer service was unprofessional. A very disappointing and frustrating experience.”

I have cancelled the order they stopped 10% of the price as per terms of cancellation which is against UK law. Going through the bank to get full refund. Avoid”
