“We were very disappointed with the customer care. We ordered a large expensive unit which came in a billion pieces. The instructions were long complicated and in Chinese. When we asked the company for English instructions they sent instructions for a different unit (different pieces, number of pieces etc!) When we queried this they said they couldn't help anymore.”

I saw a sofa bed on their website advertised at a clearance price of £399 but out of stock. I contacted them through WhatsApp (suspicious) and they sent me their complete stock list of sofa beds (very unusual). Low and behold the one I wanted showed 1 in stock which I pointed out to Julia who seemed somewhat surprised! She asked if I would like it held and I replied yes I would buy it and went back to their website to do so. Surprise, surprise, it was still showing out of stock so I was told she would come back to me next morning. Guess what? She didn't, but the item was now in stock on their website at £659.
I immediately queried this price and referred back to the clearance price of £399 and the fact she,in writing, had agreed to hold the one in stock.
The answer, it had now been sold (miraculously overnight) but she could offer me a discount code!!!

“A company not to be trusted. Items advertised as “in stock” are, in reality, unavailable. Promised delivery dates are simply ignored. To make matters worse, they impose a 10% cancellation fee—even when they are clearly in breach of contract for failing to supply the order. Now they ask for my review!”

“I purchased a dressing table from this company in November, it was advertised on the website as grey, when it arrived it was beige. I contacted the company who asked for videos/photos of the items which I sent to them. After numerous messages back & forth from Amy I was informed that they would arrange a collection. The dressing table was finally collected in January!! It is now the 9th February and we still haven't been refunded. The excuse being is the courier company hasn't delivered the item back to Weilai, although they arranged the courier? My concern is where have the goods been all this time. Welia have said I will receive a refund once they receive the goods back & have inspected them. I would never buy from this company again! It is a drop shipping business, looks like goods come direct from China and you can't call Weilai concept, all communication is through whats app. I have now had to raise a case with my bank. Lesson learned always use credit card that way I would have raised a case through them straight away.”

“Bought a chair from them, after seeing it reviewed on YT and after a few months, the armrests/leather started to come off. Emailed them, and they told me issues need to be raised within 14 days of purchase, so pretty much tough luck. Really regret buying from them. Since then, the seat cushion has gone flat, and I've had to buy a seat pillow.
I hate throwing things away and waste but this chair is now unusable.”
