“Well, first off I would have given them a five star because I started shopping there and loved it. The new one in summerland. But on many occasions, the people that work there are extremely rude. There's no smiling faces.How can I help you. Even down to the checkers. Try to get a sandwich.Stood there for about five minutes.I'm just staring at the menu. And I finally asked somebody from the next section, over how can I get someone to help me? And she said, I can help you. I thought that was absolutely crazy. People were just standing around talking. And never looked over to see if anybody needed help. It has happened several times. There was no bread the sourdough. The person I asked said, no, there's no bread very rude. I asked when he said, maybe in a couple hours. That is total bed management.If you see the bread is low and you start making it right away. Two hours for a loaf of bread is kind of crazy. I only lived two blocks over, but I really need to think about going back to my old store. At least they weren't rude there and they smiled, not all. But most and asked you if you needed any help. I don't get that there at whole foods. Maybe people are just miserable there.And it shows. And the produce is, another thing, but I think I've said enough... The people that are just in need to be more helpful and consider it. Today was the last straw for me. Maybe I'll wait six months try again. But it'll probably be the same”
“I ate lunch and when exiting theparking validation ticket is not accepted. Then I pressed the call button and connected with agent. I told her I've receipt and validation ticket. Asked me for the number of the ticket , I gave her. Receipt, validation ticket, and ticket pulled! Then she requested my name ? Do I have to provide my name? I was told unless I provide my name She won't open the gate!”
“I stopped by Whole Foods today for an Amazon return and decided to shop while I was there. I ordered an iced Chai latte and when I was overcharged, brought it to the barista’s attention. The gal told me she charged me extra for ice. I questioned that as well and was told Whole Foods ice is “so much better than anyone else’s because of its size and shape.” Really?? That is so over the top pretentious even for Whole Foods! Needless to say, I won’t be shopping there or ordering lattes in the future. 🤦♀️”
“So the whole thing with Whole Foods is even though you’re more than horrible their concern is your vibe. I worked in the industry for over 30 years. I could bring anything to the court but yet when you go for an interview, they don’t even review your résumé honestly do your research. I did not a place I would shop or even work sorry guys you blow.”
“FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A MONTH AT THE VERNON HILLS STORE (AND IT HAPPENS ON A REGULAR) I PURCHASED 1/2 DOZEN BAGELS. DON'T KNOW IF THEY WERE OVERCOOKED OR HAD SAT OUT OVERNIGHT BUT THEY WERE STALE AND NOT PLEASANT TO CHEW. AFTER FORCING DOWN THREE OF THEM THE REMAING THREE WERE TOSSED INTO THE GARBAGE.”
“Overpriced and over rated. While at the self check out recently, I had to ask the same person THREE times for help. All she did was tell me where the bar code was, but it was not working. Obviously, she was not interested in working because she did not help.”
“I have shopped at WholeFoods for 30 years because of their policy of guaranteed freshness, excellent staff and management, customer satisfaction and excellent foods. I am very disappointed, WholeFoods quality and service has diminished greatly. It is still grossly expensive and not worth the visit. Sorry WholeFoods. I would love to be a secret shopper there. The new service is rude, angry, (unprofessional-meat market) and unfriendly. The seasoned (prior employees) WholeFoods staff should train the newbies, many are in need of customer service training. Smiling entice more spending! The afforementioned concerns have encouraged me to shop at other merchants.”
“Some of the "fresh" stuff is not so fresh.
Very high prices for just regular stuff.
Customer service sucks. Too many of the staff members busy "socializing" among themselves while you are waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to help you.
Recently bought a fruit creme brulee. It had some glue/sugary/stick stuff on the bottom. The crust was glued to the cardboard. It could not be cut in slices and served. We scooped it out but that is not how it should be served. The bottom of the pie shell remained stuck to the cardboard.”
