Horrible horrible customer service. Paid for full rental insurance. Got a flat tire and they told me to pay for a taxi and they would reimburse me. It's been over 2 months and I can't even get them to respond to my emails. So mad.

Over aggressive sales representative trying to scare me into buying double insurance. Didn't have a single manual car even though I had booked manual. Will not used them again.

SCAM, DOUBLE CHARGES - DON’T BOOK!!! After some research, booked Wiber. Seemed like best rates and ratings. Ended up paying double the amount in the end. Took out car rental with Wiber via 3rd party (booking.com). Took full cover, adding an additional €50 to bill. Car rental was just over €230 for 5 days. When we arrived, we were informed that I still had to pay an excess of €1700 should something happen to car (to be reserved on the card), and that this would need to be claimed back from booking.com. Was told that they cannot guarantee what third party’s t’s and c’s are, which is understandable. Then they insinuated that this “full” cover that I took out is not really full cover, and if we want “full full” cover, its another addition €150. Was also told that should we not take this, we would be liable for the €1700 excess. To make a claim, we would also need a police report, and was told that this would be nearly impossible as the police only come out with major crashes. All good and well, but the point is that they trick you with a low price at the start, then when you get the car, the actual price is almost double. Ended up paying almost €400 for the rental, almost the same price as our entire accommodation for the week. In this case, rather get a rental from one of the big rental companies directly at the airport (all costs included), and it will also save you another 1-2 hours having to take a shuttle to get to them, as they are outside the airport. Other issues: - defect car (kept fogging up, had to drive with aircon and wipers on most of the time. - Car full of damage, nobody available to check car with you. - Nobody answering the phone when you call customer service

Avoid at all costs My experience of Wiber went from 5 star to 1 star within a matter of minutes.. The bus picked me up from the airport, a 5 minute drive and then a smooth check in process by a member of staff at the desk. within 10 minutes we were off. no pressure to buy expensive insurance (which i already had from cover4rentals) 5/5 Unfortunately, the car was scratched on the bonnet whilst parked in a car park on the second day, I called Wiber to tell them and they told me not to worry and this would be dealt with when we hand the car back. 5/5 On our last morning our plans changed and we asked if we could extend the car hire and we were told that this was not possible but we could have an extra hour out of courtesy. 5/5 We arrived at the car hire centre, handed the keys over and then went outside, on reflection the guys working there made a joke amongst themselves about something, with one of them making a "oooh" noise (which on reflection came clear later). I showed them the damage and I was told that the damage was €134 (thank god for insurance), the money would come out of my insurance and i can claim it back. And that was that, a smooth check out. 5/5 Once on my way to the airport I saw the emails. €25 late fee.... I was on time at 13:00 and checked out by 13:06 and I was charged €25. I was not told this on my arrival or check out. Incredibly sneaky and deceitful, and this is what i assume the joke the Wiber team made after we went to check the car. Did they charge me €25 the checkout being complete 6 mins after 13:00. Then I checked the damage report, they had charged me €437 for the damage, not the €134 which I was told in person. I replied to complain and they told me to contact their customers service department. I did, the auto response says they will respond within 15 working days. It is now 18 working days later and no response. I would have recommended Wiber all the way up until the deceiving and lying check out service. They cannot be trusted or bothered to respond. Just avoid them

Disgraceful company, would not recommend. We arrived at Alicante airport to have to wait over 40 minutes for our shuttle transfer. There was one driver who repeatedly told passengers, including ourselves to ‘get out’ there was no order in collections, it seemed to be who pushed themselves to the front first. Upon arrival at the car collection centre, we took a ticket from the machine. We then proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for anyone, all customers left & we were the only people left to be called, another customer entered and took a ticket and was seen straight away. At this point, my husband complained to be told other people are a higher priority. We waited, with a child for 1 hour 30 minutes in total, we had booked our car collection for 10am, we did not receive our vehicle until 11:30am. In addition to this, when booking the vehicle via the Ryan Air website I had paid an additional £35 insurance cost to cover us. When we collected the vehicle, we were then asked to give a further £185 this was for insurance.. apparently as they said we had booked via a 3rd party or we could give them £1,700 it was our choice. I have since emailed Wiber 5 times to complain and had no response. Utter disgusting service.. avoid and use on site airport car parks who are reliable.

A few days after we dropped off the car they charged us for a whole day extra than we originally booked for because apparently we dropped the car off 45 minutes late (9.45pm) even though the sales rep said we could drop it off until 11pm closing time. They have since not replied to any emails, it's been impossible to get in contact with them. The car was also different to the one promised- I know this is typical however the booking stated it would be a guaranteed model. So we're out of pocket and feeling scammed. Although they have low prices, I would really recommend to avoid this company, especially since they have no customer service if anything goes wrong.

Desaconsejo: una vez entregado el automóvil, intentaron estafarnos reteniendo la fianza del combustible. Después de una semana de intercambios de correos electrónicos y llamadas telefónicas, logramos recuperar la fianza. ¡Tengan cuidado!

I'd booked 7 day car hire.... We travelled from Málaga airport to nerja... The wasn't right, by the time we got near our villa the car cut out and was smoking. We had to walk with our baby and lots of luggage to our villa. Had to wait for breakdown to recover. Turns out it was an electric fault and clutch. This put no trust into the company so I was reluctant in having another car. It had impacted our holiday on day 1. I had a refund which wasn't even half of what I paid. Essentially I should be charged for a couple of hours max.... I'd be happy with a day... I emailed a complaint in to advise I'm not happy with the refund amount I get a standard response we've review and be in touch... I went away first week of June ... We're now in August and I still don't have additional funds. STAY CLEAR of this company at all costs, zero customer service.

It's stupid not to have carpets on the car floor”. Incluso recomendamos wiber a mucha gente.

Wiber Rent a Car in Alicante is the worst car rental from all. Because of my work I rent cars on a regular base. I never ever experienced such THIEVES as in Alicante at Wiber. With the pick up they make a lot of efforts to sell you extra insurance. We had all-in already…. Then nobody inspect the car together with you. At the car we had was a lot of damage already. By returning the car the guy asked if we had photos from all damages. We had some but apparently we missed one very small spot (1mm) he said. He invoiced us for Euro 400,- If you rent a car at Wiber Alicante make sure that you make a VIDEO instead of photos of the car otherwise they will find something to catch you. Wiber Alicante is REALLY bad!!! Caution!!!

The pick up service and drop off in Malaga airport was pretty good. This was in the middle of the day. Be warned about the hard sell for the waiver excess insurance. The staff member became quite annoyed when I told them I had already purchased external waiver excess cover(at a fraction of the price). Despite not knowing anything about the cover I had he told me it wouldn’t be sufficient. Their cover was €150, the total hire cost was €220. He then dismissively told me the car was outside on the left, it wasn’t easy to find. I walked out into a huge car park he didn’t come and check over the existing damage and there was loads! Including a huge dent in the door which I was surprised they would let out without being fixed. I checked over the damage and found a dangerously large chunk taken out of the tyre which could have been dangerous. It made me wonder how thoroughly the cars are checked over. I wondered had I not noticed it could have caused an accident and I could have been charged for a new tyre. I was given a different car. When I returned the car I was served by a friendly and helpful staff member who okayed the car and returned my deposit. In general be prepared for a hard sell on the extra protection, be prepared to be given a car with a lot of damage, make sure you check and video thoroughly.

Appalling service, staff are rude. Don’t assist people well mannered and with their own time. I waited very long for my shuttle transfer bus, had to complain to staff, that I was going to lose my plane. Mean while staff was talking outside on their phones while customers on the bus waiting. They also charge deposit to some staff and others they don’t.

Your questionable damage management policy seems to be esspecially designed to force customers to buy the expensive full coverage insurance, that would not be necessary if you would document the already existing damages on your cars properly and not leave it to your customers to proof what they are responsible for just on returning the car. That is not trustworthy at all, to use polite words.

Awful… we are currently stranded. Within a day of having our car there was an awful rattling/squeaking sound so we called Wiber and they came to tow the car and said they would send us a taxi to the car hire centre. It has been 7 hours and we are still stranded in a remote area of Mallorca with no car and no taxi has been sent and it is proving impossible to get through to them by phone now. Don’t make the mistake of renting through them. They also charged us an insane amount for insurance as soon as we got there even though we had already paid for this through Ryanair. We have been absolutely robbed and we cannot get through to them and they are now telling us this has nothing to do with them and it is not their fault…
