“Wise Property Care came out quickly to assess the problem in response to my original call. On that visit, a realistic assessment of the extent of the problem and necessary works was made, and a firm price quoted - this was very comforting. A date was agreed for the work to commence. The workmen who did the actual removal of damp plaster and insertion of a damp proof membrane were cheerful, friendly, and efficient - and when they had gone, and I had difficulty shutting the door because of the changed shape of the wall, one of them came back (a considerable distance) to sort out the problem so I could lock up for the night, which I appreciated very much. They were here on the Thursday, the plasterer on the Friday, and the original two workmen on the Monday to replace skirtings and so on. Surfaces were well covered with plastic to reduce the inevitable dust and mess, and this was very efficient. I would recommend Wise Property Care wholeheartedly.”

I was impressed by the surveyor who identified the problem areas and explained the way ahead. Although there were further problems encountered the assigned project manager kept us informed and minimised the time-line and disruption to our home.
The subsequent remedial building work was carried out by a very able and competent technician. The finishing plasterwork appears to be to a high standard.
