For the past three years, I’ve been paying £37.99 per month with InTouch for a 30Mbps package, but the experience has been disappointing. Half the time, the stated speed wasn’t even delivered. On our small development of seven households, we’re all experiencing slow speeds, often dropping to just 3 or 4Mbps during peak evening hours. Thankfully, Openreach is now installing full fibre broadband in our area, and we can’t wait to move on from this company. InTouch’s so-called “top” package of 30Mbps has been consistently subpar, making it feel pointless to pay for anything beyond the basic package. Considering it’s 2024, you’d expect higher speeds and better infrastructure, but they’ve shown no effort to improve or offer competitive packages. This company is stuck in the past and far from revolutionary.

This was once a very negative review… however, after having an engineer in my lounge for 2 hours I have fully functioning broadband at speeds and strengths like never before. Adam was a consummate professional who was stumped but persevered until it was up and running… so, superb service after all and he alone deserves the 5 stars.

If I could give no stars I would. Wispire use to be really good. I had no issues. However, Covid hit and the service standards have dropped. My internet often goes off or the speed drops significantly. I have been given every excuse under the sun for this reason. The best one, ‘your neighbour may have something that affects your internet!’ I pay £34.30 a month which is a lot of money for an unacceptable service. My internet hasn’t been working since last night. I have been at work today so have not had the chance to call them. I have come home tonight and there is still no internet. It’s Friday and they will now be closed until Monday. How this is acceptable? They are offering a service that is 24/7 but when it goes wrong (which is does often) you can only call during core weekday hours to sort it. I am paying for other subscriptions that I cannot use because they require internet and I am having to use my mobile data to do online stuff. They think they have the monopoly on people living rural but this will not always be the case as technology improves and competitors come into the market. I am thankful I now have a competitor who is able to offer a good internet service. I would in no way recommend this company.

We suffered for years with a BT's so-called "Superfast" broadband. Eventually we had about 5mB/s download and 0.8 upload at best. We lost the line at least 2 or 3 times a week and Netflix would often stop working in the evening. We asked WiSp to survey and they found a good signal near one of our outbuildings (we are surrounded by many large trees). They proposed to mount a receiving dish on the outbuilding with a pair of dishes linking to the house. We accepted and it was installed and working in a week. The surveyor and installer was the same person (Sebastian) and he did a great job, even painting the dishes and mounts black to blend in with the property as we asked. The dishes are small and unobtrusive. He set up the router for us and we had 32Mb/s download with 3Mb/s upload. The system has worked reliably since instal. We had a problem after a couple of weeks when the speed suddenly dropped. I called the customer help line and spoke to Adam, who carried out some diagnostics, confirmed the broadband signal was unaffected and informed me the problem was probably with the ethernet links to my PC (which I had installed). He suggested some ways to fix it and I was able to reset the links and resume normal service within 10 minutes. He even called twice afterwards to see if I needed any more help. The quality of service we have received from WiSpire is fantastic and shames all other ISP's that I have ever dealt with. We have a broadband service which is 6 times faster than before, no service dropouts and a named individual on a local phone who can help whenever we need him. And all this for less than we were paying BT. 100% happy, I recommend WiSpire wholeheartedly.

Hands down the worst internet connection I have ever used, dial up was better! If you like being locked into a contract that extorts money from you for an unusable connection then go for these guys, speed is quoted at 30Mbps and the most I’ve ever seen is half of that, if you raise the issue with service they just tell you it’s fine (when you actually get them to reply) as far as they can see and you can have an engineer visit but they will charge you a lot of money if they find no fault with their equipment, I’m counting down the days until my contract ends.

This company is a complete joke (apart from a guy called Darren who is the only helpful guy I’ve dealt with - frankly Darren you’re wasting your time with these guys - I’m sure there’s another company out there who would value your customer service ethos). Staff don’t return calls, are unhelpful and couldn’t give a damm. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Just had Wifi installed by Wispire and the communication from start to finish was great. Super efficient installation and a really neat, clean install by the engineer who went out of his way to meet our requirements. Would highly recommend. Speeds are as promised and the system is working well.

Very pleased with everything. We are not in line of sight of a transmitter so it took some initial persuading to get a solution organised. Now it is installed and operational it is brilliant.

We have found the whole experience of using Wispire to provide broadband and telephones for our new small business in Heydon Norfolk a pleasure. George our first contact was so professional yet personable, all equipment arrived within a couple of days. The engineers were helpful, although they encountered a small hitch on the day of installation they remained on site to try to solve this so the phone & broadband could be working as promised, within 2 weeks of our first contact with Wispire. We were also able to have the telephone number allocated early so we could prevent delay in ordering our business marketing materials, something which we were told by BT they would not be able to arrange. The speed of broadband is good too, which I understand is an issue for locals using other providers in the village. Great customer service and support, very happy to recommend to others.

We recently had WIpsire installed as we are rural and our previous provision was hopeless. Installation staff were great and very thoughtful and helpful. Speed is now more than we have ever had before. Very pleased so far thank you - would recommend to rural households without question.

From my very first enquiry, WiSpire personnel have been prompt, efficient and professional. Both office staff and installers have been able to answer all of my questions regarding an unorthodox installation, which was carried out very quickly and neatly. The company keeps in touch, often asking me if I'm happy with the service. A very friendly company and a pleasure to deal with, not to mention the very attractive pricing.

The installation was neat and issue free, using helpful staff. I have had one outage after a severe storm, but outside that, has proven much more reliable than my recent BT service. Out of peak times, I achieve my agreed transfer rates when connected via Lan, but via wifi, it seems to be less. There is reduced throughput at peak times, but usually not enough to stop me working. Overall, a step forward for us.

They deliver a reliable service to our fairly remote rural farmhouse at a reasonable cost. On the odd occasion that the service has gone down they have resolved the problem rapidly, and they are good at keeping in touch. Many of our neighbours wish they could receive their service.

Being a rural service provider can be difficult for Wispire sometimes due to events out of their control. I have always found them very responsive to issues and their latest customer communication email could teach other service providers a lesson. There may be outages which are unavoidable but regular, relevant updates is all you need to do to keep your customers happy. Thank You

Wispire is the only viable option for a decent speed in our village and many others in Norfolk. It keeps our family online, streaming, shopping etc. The wispire team are helpful and responsive. A bit of a no brainier if you are struggling with poor connection out in the norfolk sticks!

Amazing customer service - a problem with a mast or the like in high winds, not only was it dealt with quickly, but they contacted all customers and changed their processes within 24 hours to ensure all customers are aware in the event of issues and how they will be resolved. Always helpful unlike previous suppliers I have used - and nothing is ever too much trouble. Absolutely 5* reviews from my household! Thank you team.
