“I have several issues with Woman Within- online. First of all, I was given a line of credit a year ago, but I never received anything,and no information about my credit... but it did effect my credit report!
So I called and cancelled everything!
In July, I placed an order online, and was under the impression that I would get an email notification when my order ships..as my order had stated!! The funds were taken out of my account, but I did not receive any email that my order had shipped,or when to expect it. Called customer service today, and found out -apparently they had a wrong email address for me, and according to THEIR FedEx delivery verification, it was delivered to the wrong address! Now I am waiting for customer service to send me an affidavit for a "possible refund?!!" I also have 2 items left which are on back order, so I called back to cancel it, because I don't want to experience another episode of this all over again! I did not get the lady's name that took my call about cancelling my order,but her attitude was very unprofessional,and uncalled for!
She was very rude by talking over me, and not listening . I told her that I have a right to ask questions about cancelling my order and getting a refund for the lost items that were apparently sent to someone else!!
Sorry Woman Within, but you've lost a customer.”
“Do not order from Women Within. I had a family emergency. As soon as I Heard that I was needed for a family which was just diagnosed with cancer. I contacted Customer Services by email and explained I was not going to be at the address. They sent back to me they will not cancel the order. They did not care what I had say. I finally called customer Service and I spoke to 5 different people and they said they understood situation I was in and would cancel since it was not due to be sent out until September. These people are liars. Now I have to worry that the package will not be there when I get back to the address. Do Not Order From Women Within.”
“I placed my first ever order and ordered my true size for a shirt I had it shipped to Canada. The shirt arrived and it looks like a tent being at least three sizes too large there is no way to exchange internationally. I cannot submit an email to customer service internationally so now they want me to pay to ship the shirt back and re-order the shirt at a higher price as it’s no longer on sale and pay to ship it back to
me. The sale price of the shirt was $16. The shipping to Canada was almost 20 this is a horrible company for returns and customer service. Unfortunately I have a second order coming that I now know will be way too large. I will have no choice, but to throw away these clothing as the return shipping fee will be more than the original cost of the clothing.”
“I ordered bras and they did not last long. They riped in the back by the hooks. Also I received one with a twisted strap. These bras are junk. I'll never order from there again.”
“Returned booties for larger size, as my regular size ran small. When placed order got larger size (using gift card as part of payment ) was charged double shipping. Called Customer Service and was told I was being charged more due to the shoe order costing less ?!? How does this make sense? Never never shopping Woman Within or any store associated with Full Beauty Brands. Buyer beware.”
“I just tried to order capris they are supposed to be on sale 50% off so I tried to order and guess what some of them are not on sale really and I have tried to order pants and again your out”
“Absolutely worst company to deal with. I ordered a lot of clothes they got here today. They looked like absolute rags when I open the package. I called to get my money back. They’re taking $30 from my order and for processing fees do not order from this company.”
“Thought I’d give them a try as I am always receiving their catalogs in the mail. I was sent the wrong size on one of the three items that I ordered. They advertise “easy returns” so I was shocked to find out from their customer service reps that they don’t do exchanges even when it was their mistake. You have to return the item, have the return approved, and then reorder it. They now use a return drop off service and the nearest one to me is almost 20 miles away. Customer service was like talking to a computer. I called twice and both times it was like talking to a robot even though it was a person. They just repeat a canned speech over and over and do not listen to what you are asking. Very frustrating and definitely NOT easy. I will never buy from them again and I will be sure and share my experience with everyone I know. I do not recommend this company.”
“Was trying to purchase leggings that stated they were $15.99. Also received a pop up saying I would get 20% off of my order if I checked out within 30 minutes. When viewing my cart, the leggings were $19.99 instead of $15.99. I thought maybe it would change when I hit checkout. Nope, still tried to charge me $19.99 for both pairs and there was also no 20% being applied. I guess they count on us not noticing. I closed the page without checking out and will never go back. It is a shame because I love these particular leggings and have been ordering them for at least 15 years even though their shipping cost is a ripoff. Too bad Woman Within has turned into crooks.”
“I ordered a tee described as "true red", but it actually tended toward a blue-red, which I can't wear. I ordered a smocked tee, and after 1 wash it looked years old! I ordered a terry robe, and after 1 wash the belt fell apart! I guess we're supposed to trust that their clothes won't fall apart after one wash, because YOU CAN'T RETURN A WASHED ITEM!”
“Bras and panties are too small. I thought this place caters to full-figured women with more curves!? Returns are a hassle and expensive. Shirts fit larger, shorts seem smaller.”
“The bras I ordered are way overpriced, the material is cheap and uncomfortable. I used to order from woman within without any problems a few years ago. the order took weeks to be delivered, the sizing was off, the website was difficult, they charged for shipping when I was given the impression it was free. I have to pay for return shipping myself and we'll see how long it takes to get my $$ back. I won't order from them again.”
“I order a lot from woman within but have learned to just throw their coupons in the trash. If you order you need To be prepared to Pay a hefty price. Their coupons never work, their free shipping never works. I can get a free shipping or 50% off coupon in the mail and try to use it the same day and it says the numbers are expired or enter a valid number. I don't order much any more because of that. Their clothes are not worth the high price you end up paying.”
“Unethical Business Practices and Terrible Customer Service
I ordered a dress from Woman Within for my daughter’s 20th wedding vow renewal. Not only did the company fail to deliver on time, but they also pushed the delivery date a month past the event. When I contacted customer service, I was met with vague, unhelpful answers.
To make matters worse, the order remains in a “pending” status that prevents me from canceling or stopping payment through my bank. I was told I won’t be eligible for a refund until I receive the item and return it — even though it arrives far too late.
This is unacceptable. It reflects unethical practices that leave customers powerless. I will never do business with Woman Within again, and I advise others to approach this company with extreme caution.”
“Out of date styles, sizing off, and the biggest issue is they charge ridiculous shipping prices and God forbid you have to return something. I had their credit card and cancelled it. Save your money girls,”
“Evil company. Refuses returns if more than 60 days, even though I had to wait 90 days to get an item that was "on back order". See they make you wait 90 days to get your item from them, but if I'm out of the country on business and it's 61 days since my items were delivered, I'm stuck with them all.”
