Booked via a tablet device. Found it ok but laggy,support on these "mobile" devices could do with looking into,or perhaps an app to aid the booking process. Also when booking I didn't know which area my executive lodge would be situated in the holiday park. Regarding payment their should be an option on the my account to pay In chunks rather than just the option of paying the balance off. The website itself is great

Thank you for your feedback. Each holiday home or camping/touring pitch is its own individual booking and is allocated separate booking references. It is not possible to book multiple units on the same booking online or by telephone, although we do offer this facility for group bookings made through our groups team and consisting of six or more units. ^kd

I had to come back to the booking after a couple of hours. The first time it would not accept my details of what was needed and kept reverting to the original page. Now completed OK.

When booking 2 types of our stay 1 static 1tourer your web site booked me in to twichen then booked the tourer into easewell didnt realise until booked so phoned up young lady very helpfull swapped us over to twichen but need the option of site to be more clear

From the information on the web site it wasn't clear where the pitch class being selected were positioned on the site. Ideally it should show the currently available pitches on a site map and allow the customer to select the pitch preferred.

I would like to be able to book numerous accommodation rather then just 1 apartment/chalet at a time!

The layout to make a booking is very clear and easy to use. However, when it came to going ahead with the booking, the online system automatically added the pet 20 pound surcharge although we had specifically not selected this type of accommodation. We tried several times and every time we were asked to pay 20 pounds more than due. Also, at one point the price for the same accommodation had gone up from 146 pounds to 155 pounds. This got us to almost give up until I used the online help service. Someone (called Sue) responded very promptly and started looking into it. During that time, I tried making the booking again and this time, it worked. Unfortunately the online help service closed and i did not get the chance to thank Sue for trying to help, so thank you Sue :-) So all in all, very easy to use until the system started messing us around..

Not the easiest of sites to navigate but got there in the end. Seems strange that you have to enter a mobile no but not necessarily a land line - I believe there are still people who dont have mobile phones?

Although the new website looks really good, as a returning customer it took me a while to find how to book on line. It would help if the 'find your holiday' link was changed to 'find and book your holiday'.

Dear Mr Wheaton, thanks for your feedback and we have found it useful. We used to have two routes in to book on the old website, one called "Find your holiday" and one called "Book now". We thought the "Book now" button was a little aggressive sounding and tracking on the website showed that many of our customers seemed to be put off by that too. However, we might well have gone too far the other way so have now changed it to "Search and book" which we think covers all the bases. Thank you very much for giving us your feedback, ^kd

Easy to book but it would have been nice to be able to see where the accommodation is on the site map and make your choice accordingly.

The booking was a little difficult as I wanted to book 4 platinum caravans but I had to book them individually which was a bit of a pain as I had to keep putting my card details in.

We're sorry to hear you had problems booking online. We've not had any warnings that our online booking system has not been working and the statics show that it is performing well. Perhaps the cache in your browser needs clearing out; unless it's set up to clear out regularly in your browser it can cause issues. Equally there has been a recent update to both Google Chrome and Firefox and we noticed ourselves that a couple of things weren't working quite right on a PC that the update hadn't gone through on. It's worth checking that you're running the most up to date version of your browser and that your cache is cleared out regularly. Hope that helps, ^kd

I had problems with my booking as I needed to book a lodge and an apartment. I phoned and discovered both would cost more if I booked over the phone so decided to try to do it on line. The apartment was straightforward, but I needed to book a lodge with a bath, and it wasn't clear on line how to do this, so I then had to phone again to make the booking over the phone and pay the extra. Apparently only three bedroom gold lodges have baths, but the web site didn't make this clear.
