I bought a skirt and top in the sale. When I got home I Norma stain on the top and the skirt had pulled threads. I went back to the Hempstead store for a refund which was refused I pointed out that the good were damaged and was told that sale good would not be refunded no matter what. I mentioned that trading standards have a different view and Kerry became rude and said that Apricot do not refund on sale goods I emailed a complaint and have not had a response I had always been a loyal customer but am never going to Hempstead Valley Apricot again and still want a refund for the dirty and damaged items

Ordered clothes for 175.00 order value. Unfortunately all were unsuitable. I returned them admittedly slightly over the refund period. However I have not received a credit for them to spend on my account. I have emailed Apricot customer services regarding this at least ten times over the past couple of months and have had no response at all. No phone number to call so basically I cannot get a response. I even asked them to return the clothes if they cannot give a credit as at least I would have something for my money. No response to that and they have not been resent. So basically I am hundred and seventy five pounds out of pocket with no goods. Terrible company terrible customer service.. basically stolen my money. Will never order from them again and advise others to be very careful.

I ordered a skirt from this company as it was for my daughters birthday and that's what she asked for but I wished I hadn't. I wished I had read reviews before doing so. They didnt send me a confirmation e.mail but have taken my money. I have sent an e.mail enquiry but not received a reply. I even phoned Derby store and the girl on the phone said she couldnt do anything and I should e.mail them. When I informed her that I had she apologised and said she would e.mail them but wasn't optimistic about getting a reply. Says it all really. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I placed an order with them , they took my money and when i checked my order status it had been cancelled . There is no way of contacting them only through emails , which they have not responded to yet . I will never order from them again . Diabolical !

I have sent several emails asking how to return a faulty item. Washed and worn once!! I have never had a reply. Summer will be over before I get a replacement. Online shopping doesn’t give the best customer service. My experience has definitely put me off buying from Apricot again

I ordered the Black Buckle Neck Jacquard Knit Cape and it arrived on time, and looks exactly like the pictures (colour, size, design) and looks great!

Ordered 2 items online and paid for next day delivery. 13 days later, and nothing has arrived. My money has been taken and customer services have not responded to my emails. I have contacted them 5 times and... silence. So frustrated. Don't use this service.

Their clothes are lovely. Their service less so. Their website is also too basic and not sophisticated enough in the modern world, especially when you are spending money and providing personal information. I just placed an order and entered the delivery address - or rather thought that's what was indicated. However when the order was processed a few seconds later - it processed to a totally different delivery address - one I have not used in a long time! Now my order will be sent to an address where I don't live, and where I'm unable to retrieve it from. The worst thing is I realised immediately - but the website has NO CANCELLATION function on orders!!! Nothing at all! No cancellation, no amendment feature. And they have no phone number to actually get a human being on the line to speak to urgently. Instead their 'Help' section indicates if there is an error in delivery address, you should contact them asap by email or online form to get it sorted. I emailed AND submitted the online enquiry form WITHIN MINUTES of ordering to cancel or change the order details, and I sent further emails the next morning. They replied a few hours later saying it was too late - it had already been sent off, nothing they could do. Ridiculous. The only thing they could say was maybe the Royal Mail wouldn't be able to deliver. I explained the situation - the address would likely have multiple people living there who wouldn't know me from Adam. I expect it will be taken and left somewhere. Royal Mail unfortunately also often leave things in "safe places" like doorsteps or with the neighbours. So it likely will be delivered, just not to me. What a waste of money!! And for them to effectively shrug their shoulders and make out like it's got nothing to do with them is a very poor attitude. I'm angry and very disappointed because I love their clothing, but it will certainly make me think twice about ordering from them again. I always think a measure of a company is very much in how they deal with problems, not when everything runs smoothly. Especially now, actually going to a shop is quite difficult, they need to have a MUCH better website and customer service.

Bought a linen dress for holiday. Washed prior to wearing in line with the instructions and it shrunk. So not worn on holiday. Took it back to the Lakeside branch and the manager revised to refund. Could only offer a credit note which cannot be used online. Have only ever bought 2 items from this store ever and both have been of the lowest quality and non existent customer service. They clearly need the £30 more than I do. The stuff is cheap from China and the have zero interest when it shows!

I had such a terrible experience at the Milton Keynes store on Monday 3rd September. Firstly when I needed help to get a size I wanted there was not a member of staff available and when I eventually found a staff member I felt I was hassling her just because I asked her for help !! The woman in question was very abrupt with me, snatched the top out of my hand and said she would check for the size for me. She then proceeded to the till area and used the telephone. It looked like she slammed the phone down when finished. She was very harassed and I felt very awkward and also sorry for other people who witnessed this terrible behaviour. She did come back to me after. She was again very abrupt when she spoke to me. I was shocked and quite frankly a little afraid. The woman was blond with bobbed hair, she spoke with a Scottish accent and in my opinion was unhelpful and had no social skills. I have previously worked in customer service for 30 years. I have never witnessed such behaviour before and I hope I never do again ! I WILL NOT be visiting the Milton Keynes store again and I will be urging other people I know not to either !!

Items I order are always sent promptly. The clothes I've bought from Apricot are always lovely quality and good fit and if I ever need to return an item, it's no problem.
