Went on their web site to buy two head lights for my m class merc gave them the reg number they came up with a picture with all the details of my car which i have done before with other companies and have had no problems . This company sends me the wrong head lights they are for European roads i did not know this at the time i gave the lights to the garage to have them fitted i got a call to say they were the wrong lights and that they had installed one so the replaced it with the old headlight i phoned this company which has a English web site that turns out to be German .they refused to accept they had sent the wrong lights and would not be changing the lights as one had been fitted when i told them how i had put my reg number in to get the correct parts their answer was you cannot guarantee the on that and that i could have been installing the parts on a European merc .Why would i give them specific details of my motor if it was for some other car they then told me to open up a warranty claim but in the same breath told me i would not win they have asked for photos information about the merc and all manor of things just to be told they are not going to do anything about changing these lights they also told me when i said i was going to get in touch with trading standards their reply was go ahead we are a German company so more or less i cant do anything about it .But i have been i n touch with the European Trading standards and they are taking up my case it seems like they have dealt with this company before and from the reviews i have read this company is not a nice place to buy from the only reason i have put one star is because i cant give a minus five stars signed a very happy customer Ron

We ordered 2 items for our Mercedes as the car had failed the MOT. After a week we contacted them to see where the parts were as the retest date was in 3 days and they said they would arrive in 2 days. They didn't so we recalled and they couldn't even give us a date or track the parcel just said it was 'in transit'. By which time we had missed the retest date. Rubbish service and rubbish customer care do not use this company

Ordered on the 8th of may, no confirmation given, after numerous calls they gave a confirmation of parcel sent on the 14th of may, now it s 26th and GLS tracking shows still in transit, i have sent numerous emails but very hard to reach them and no one knows when will arrive. I needed the part long ago. Misleading with uk internet site, and sending from Germany. Stay away of this company.

Just read all the reviews. They are spot on. Scam company. DO NOT USE. They steal money and fail to deliver.

The item I purchased ,an alternator, is faulty. It is overcharging which only becomes obvious after fitting but buycarparts is opening a warranty claim which will take 6-8 weeks to resolve. because it has been fitted. What a con.

Conned by the fact it says UK website. thought it was great to get the clock spring I needed and save myself 300+ quid the garage was quoting me. We are over a week in and still no sign of the part, tracking number is not updating and no response from the company.

Awful awful AWFUL company to deal with! I ordered a part over two and half weeks ago and I STILL haven't received it. It would've been quicker getting it from the moon than these jokers! But the are pretty quick at taking your money though i give them that.... I asked them for a refund but they're not interested until their package is returned (wherever that is?) For your own sanity DON'T USE THIS COMPANY (which is also autodoc & onlinecarparts)

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I ordered a dipstick on their website on the 24 March and I have emailed them and to chase them up. They said they would get it to by the end of the week and that wad to weeks ago. Now over the Easter bank holiday weekend I have emailed them again as there again has been no contact from them or a delivery. They first said they wanted me to chase the courier even tho this should be done to them now. Since I complained again on a few occasions since they have told me that 2 attempts have been made to deliver which was now obviously a lie because today the 18th of April they have now requested me to send me my address because they cannot find it which is crazy because its not a address that is difficult to find. Twice I have I asked them for a refund and this has been Ignored

I ordered a simple part, a tailgate strut for my SAAB, it took eight days to arrive in the UK I didn't realize they had a partnership with the appalling AutoDOC, that I used two years ago, Buycarparts then used the appalling Parcel Farce(no it's not a spelling error) Parcel Farce then compounded the issue by leaving a card at the wrong house on the wrong farm, I used a UK based company to purchase a replacement part, I ordered on a Friday and it arrived on the following Monday morning, never again will I use Buycarparts, I will only use a totally UK based company your question below asks if the part arrived damaged, I never saw the part

Used them a couple of years ago, everything was fine. Ordered some new parts for my Citroen Feb 22, no delivery confirmation until 8th day, delivery took 11 days from original order. I had to order another set of parts from a UK based company to ensure my car passed its MOT. Also, the wiper blades i purchased don't fit the car's wiper housing, so 55 quid wasted. Obvs I won't be using them again.

Misleading website, they don't make you aware that they are actually based in Germany and are not an UK based company. Why would any company want to mislead lead the public in this day and age. Now have to wait ages for the parts and then deal with import fees. Please stay clear of this website www.buycarparts.co.uk ... waste of time and money.

Avoid that company. “Autodoc” “buycarparts.co.uk” “onlinecarparts.co.uk They are based in Germany. I ordered pads and disk from them, everything didn’t fit, now I need to pay 70£ just for return that all.

1st they use a dot co dot uk address to con you into thinking it's a uk site...it's not. Parts come from Germany! Then they give a delivery date that they will not meet (again to get your order). So our car would not have got an MOT and would be off road. They they make it difficult to cancel the order after you've bought from the uk. This is a SCAM - AVOID

You find your experience better but this is not a UK website. Parts are sent from Germany so delivery is a bit slow, but that is not my issue. My issue ifms the fact that I was sent the wrong parts and when returning the item the customer has to pay the courier charge for a mistake by the supplier. Im confused how that works????????

Worst car part dealers in UK. Maybe you can get a bit cheaper parts. But all the trouble starts when you need to return them and get your money back, especially when they supplied faulty part. Had to wait more than 6 month to get my money back for faulty ECU control unit. Had to write about 30 emails asking what's happening with refund to them and every time they get back to me there was different person writing me telling that part is being sent for inspection and didn't told me how long it will take. After nearly a year received my money for faulty part, but didn't receive a compensation for labour for fitting faulty part. Please avoid that company if you can and don't want to waist your time and money. There is plenty much better car part dealers in UK. Thanks

Buyer beware, False advertising They are not a UK company so do not understand the difference between Left Hand Drive and Right Hand Drive. On their website the items are described as for Right Hand Drive, but as they are not a UK company they supply Left Hand Drive products, which for an oil filter is fine, but not for Headlights! The car failed the MOT because they had supplied the wrong part, and refused to help solve the issue. So beware, they do not understand RHD and LHD. Their website still advertises the products as RHD, but are actually LHD.

Misleading and untrustworthy service I put my car registration to search for break parts. It offered me parts i bought them. These parts were left on my corner shop and not notification was given to me. i randomly walked in at a parcel drop off point and they surprised me that parts were at that shop! I opened the parts 5 days latter and i felt suspicious. I contacted Buycarparts via phone and they admitted via email that these parts are NOT COMPETABLE !! ( i have email to prove this) Why would you ask me for registration and send me wrong parts!. Now buycarparts dont even want to take parts back that they mis sold to me! now i am 110 pounds down with this SCAM company

Shameless. They offer an 80% refund on damaged goods, then, when you refuse to accept, they refuse to refund anything. BEWARE.
