“I placed an order with buycarparts.co.uk. I received the order in 8 days. The parts were well packed and the correct. Buycarparts is a trading site of Autodoc which is in Germany. The website is misleading. Orders are shipped from Germany
When I discovered this and later read Trustpilot reviews, I thought I may have been scammed. This was not the case, which is why I rate the company with 3 stars.
Using my research into part numbers, I discovered by using 2 UK based suppliers I could get a better price, even incurring double p&p. I will avoid buycarparts in future.”
“I ordered coil springs and shock absorbers. The coil springs fitted no problem, the shock absorbers while stating they were for my car had the wrong seals, so I had to re-use the old ones.
My biggest gripe is this site pretends to be UK based when it is German so there's a very long delivery time (mine was about 10 days) and it's uneconomical to return parts. I could make my ordered parts work with a bit of lateral thinking but I wouldn't order from them again.”

Extremely slow to arrange a return.
No confirmation on parts received by the warehouse. Had to raise the issue with PayPal.
The whole story took almost 2 months from the day of order.

“awful service, take your payment immediately with the knowledge that your goods will be " dispatched within 24 hours of purchase" that was over 2 weeks ago. still not arrived. Impossible to get hold of anyone to talk to, all has to be done by e-mails which you get no reply)finally manage to track down my goods ....they are on the back of a lorry somewhere in Germany? did not realise that they were the same company as "Autodoc". another parts supplier that lost my bits .not worth bothering with trying to save money. better off biting the bullet and paying the going price from companies that deliver on time and keep you updated”
“If you're not in a hurry and can accept a third-party spare (i.e. not original manufacturer branded) then they might be OK. I ordered a taillight for a BMW - identified it OK on the buycarparts app. When it came it wasn't a BMW part and didn't match the other side. They don't say this on their site. The return process has been OK - it took about 5 days for the DHL label to come through and the instructions are very clear (Brexit and all). So it looks like they're trying to improve their service.”
“NOT a UK company. I ordered only to find out the part was coming from Germany. Needed fairly urgently. Emailed customer service and they've yet to reply.
NO GOOD IF YOU ARE IN THE UK AND WANT A PART QUICKLY.

Look at their reviews before ever purchasing from this company they are not interested in their customers and what they have to say. Look at their responses, you will pick up the trend.
I ordered a grille on the 10th July 2022. Contacted Buycarparts 2 weeks later to notify them the part never arrived. They asked for 28 days to investigate. I contact them after 28 days, 2 months and now it is the 15th October. They do not want to take responsibility, they blame the courier company they contracted to deliver. Then blame their responsible department for not getting back to their “repeated requests”.

“I entered my reg on the website to identify the appropriate part for my car. I was presented with the options, I purchased the part. When I tried to fit the part it did not fit my car. I contacted the company, they did not accept any liability for their part finder filter presenting the incorrect part and will not refund or replace the item. What a short sighted view on customer service. I will never order from here again.”
“Ordered brake discs and pads on 12-09-22 and still hadn't arrived by 21-09-22 so I e-mailed them - they are blaming their courier but are unable to trace the parts or say when/if they will be delivered - since the car is off the road waiting for these parts I e-mailed on 22-09-22 and asked for a refund so I can buy the parts elsewhere - they are refusing to refund as they say my order has been dispatched - so now I'm stuck with no parts and a car that won't pass a MoT - if I go out a buy another set of discs and pads and the original order turns up I've wasted a lot of money but if I don't I can't use the car - I certainly won't use Buycarparts again - I've asked PayPal for a refund and awaiting their reply”
