The lenses were supplied after a month-long wait but I still have no cameras. John will not answer the phone, he's impossible to get hold of and only sends what feels like automated email responses. I literally cannot believe I'm writing this review now... I really should have paid attention to the dozens of other horror stories and reviews below and on TrustPilot before ordering from these guys.
I've ordered a Canon C70 for £4000, marked as in Stock and ready to be delivered the next day. But like a multitude of other people have found out, it wasn't really in stock.
Thought I first received an email saying it had been shipped to me, in reality it wasn’t.
After calling multiple times, they told me it wasn't really the case, instead it was ordered from their suppliers and should arrive soon to their warehouse... but never seemed to arrive day after day...
Since the camera wasn't going to arrive in time (or at all who knows with these guys...), I asked to cancel the order and get a full refund, only to be told they could not cancel because of the delivery. What delivery? The camera isn't even in your stock!!! You've told me yourself that you do not have that camera.
After asking 4 times by email and on the phone for a full refund and being denied my £4000 back, I have been assured my order has been canceled and the refund sent. It’s now been A MONTH and I still haven’t received my refund back.. I have NEVER EVER seen such a terrible experience with any retailer.
I'm now going to have to seize a court or ask my bank for a chargeback. In the meantime I have £4000 out in the wild which is a massive stress for me.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR: DO NOT order from those guys ever. Like a lot of people have explained it here, they've had to wait for months to get delivered or have had to harass them to get their refund. Such a shame.”
“I'm currently in the middle of what I feel is a criminal matter with these guys which I will have no hesitation in referring to the authorities if not sorted this week. I ordered (and paid in full for) a Sony FX3 back in December 2021. Come August 2022 they still weren't in stock at H Preston (no specific issue with that as I appreciate there is a world microchip shortage). I managed to cancel my order with them (being told I would obviously receive a full refund for the none delivered goods), then purchased the camera elsewhere. Now of the £3999,97 that I paid H Preston (for the none delivered camera & 2 spare batteries), for some strange reason after around 6 weeks of sending them emails & leaving voicemails to chase the refund, and them telling me they allegedly already issued a full refund to my card (absolutely no trace found by my bank & H Preston unable/unwilling to confirm the ARN Acquirer Reference Number to prove a refund transaction even occurred), they have refunded me only £500 via bank transfer (I obviously was expecting the full refund when I supplied my bank details to them). They point blank refuse to have a verbal conversation with me over the telephone to explain why they are withholding £3,499.97 of my money which is tantamount to theft.
Even zero stars would be too good a review for these guys.

“Awful company. The positive reviews are mostly fake. They’ve paid for 100k followers on Instagram so if that isn’t a red flag I don’t know what is. Avoid them.
The customer service is horrendous. My order went “missing” and I was told they couldn’t give me an update as the person responsible was asleep.
They also had a price match guarantee that they didn’t fulfill. I asked why but I was ignored. I gave up trying.
I then needed to contact them as they hadn’t sent a receipt. It took almost 30 phone calls to get it. You’ll have problems and these guys will waste your time. I’ve wasted hours trying to get answers from them.”

I was looking for a 4k resolution camera with three concurrent outputs (screen hdmi and recording all at the same time in 4k). None of my Sony cameras will do this. H Prestons' Andy very diligently put a lot of time into testing a potential solution for me. I didn't actually buy the camera he tested because the BMD 4k studio camera pro had just been announced. Despite the very long lead times BMD stock often has hitting our shores, I got a message from John Preston saying that my camera would be in stock the next day. It was, they sent it straight away and I'm more than delighted with the camera and also by H Prestons excellent customer service. They truly went the extra mile for me and probably invested many hours to make sure I got the very best. All I can say is that they will be my first port of call for equipment and they should be yours too!”

“Having a difficult experience with this supplier, shop elsewhere or use PayPal. Issue is still ongoing and not refunded as of 24 SEP 2019 (purchase 21 AUG 2019, over 1 month).
Please use PayPal or similar when buying online from this seller. Ordered a cinema camera online 21 Aug listed as 'in stock'. Then received an update stating the camera was not in stock, but would be delivered Weds next week. Over the following weeks, despite on / off email communication, the camera never arrived despite promises.
They mentioned it had shipped but could supply no tracking despite repeated requests. A dispute was raised via PayPal Sep 10th and the seller cancelled and refunded the order next day. However, the refund did not complete due to insufficient funds in the sellers account or was cancelled directly. After some more nudging the seller started a 2nd refund which also did not complete.
Have now had to escalate with PayPal although the seller is communicating but how many times do you let someone break their promises? Have lost count now. Shop elsewhere.
The seller did communicate but only after prompting. Possibly just one of those things but please, please use PayPal or similar if buying online from this merchant. My advice is to avoid.”
