i would like to bring the attention of john lewis to the excellent service i recieved from DOREEN HAMILTON in the restaurant at their store in bluewater kent when i dropped my sandwich on the floor she was so obliging and helpfull doing everything she could to replacing my sandwich to cleaning up the floor and all with a smile on her face please send her my thanks once again for her outstanding care mrs white

Having used a well known electrical retailer in the past with drastic results decided to use John Lewis. I couldn’t believe the difference in the quality of service. John Lewis were brilliant from start to finish. Just had a Bosch washing machine delivered which included free delivery, installation and recycling of the old machine. The. Night before gave me a 2 hour time slot and a phone call on the day to say they were on their way. It was a difficult installation and they were polite and efficient throughout The other company just left the machine and said that they were running late. Well done John Lewis, will always use you for the extra mile you go to to make sure that everything is hassle free.

Always have great service at John Lewis. The staff are always helpful, stores are well laid out and tidy and with nice things to look at. Website is easy to use and stuff arrives on time. All the bad reviews don’t sound like the JL I see!!!

Usually customers only leave feedback when they have had a bad experience however I feel it is important to also recognise the times when staff do an amazing job. I do not usually shop in John Lewis as I find it quite expensive but I visited the Cheltenham branch a couple of weeks ago to purchase a watch for my sons 18th birthday. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in helping me look. I went away to think about it and ordered 2 online. The items were delivered on time with courier updates. Today I returned the one he didn’t want to store and again all of the staff I came across were friendly and helpful. They also adjusted the watch to fit for my sons wrist. A great service and I will certainly shop again over Xmas. Well done John Lewis Cheltenham.

I bought an HP printer online after several months of waiting because that particular one was out of stock. The setup didn't go well and the carriage return with ink cartridges got stuck, with a bit of the plastic ribbon coming off in my hand. I went to Brent Cross Tech Department of JLP firstly for advice and next day to take the printer back. On both occasions I waited less than 10 minutes to be seen. The second time a very pleasant and cheerful young man looked at the printer briefly, checked my receipt, looked something up on his computer and went and got me a new one. He also gave me a number to to ring to ensure that the two-year extra cover I'd paid for would be transferred. This was in the space of about 15 minutes. The new printer is now set up and I have already printed out some documents and scanned some photos in. I have always had good service from JLP and have been a customer since the early 70s. I hope this goes some way to offsetting the negative reviews that have been posted recently.

Last Saturday my partner and I visited the John Lewis store in High Wycombe, to choose some pencil pleated curtains to match our new settees. We had brought with us a cushion to aid our selection & began our search in the ready made section but with no success wandered into the "custom made" area. We asked the assistant standing close to us for some advice but she offered very little help & appeared to be reluctant to leave her podium. Frustrated that we could not find anything we liked, I decided to approach a gentleman sitting behind a desk in the carpet department. I explained that we were having difficulty finding curtains that suited our furniture & asked if he was good with colours . Initially he looked unsure but rose to his feet and took us on an extensive trip, considering every possible contender in stock. To help further, he choose a carpet sample which contrasted perfectly with our cushion. Just when we thought we would not find anything, he suggested we return to the ready made section where to our amazement & delight he picked a pair of curtains we had not even considered by ourselves, that was perfect. Sadly there was only one pair of these curtains left on the shelf and we needed two pairs. Straight away he searched through the stock level record and declared there were another two sets in the stock room. Off he went and returned with the second pair.The finished sitting room is now stylish and beautiful. We can not thank him enough for all the time he spared us from his own department and for his expertise. I do hope this review is passed on to him and he gets some praise from the bosses.

Absolutely brilliant Customer Service. Had a problem with a recent order which was due to a manufacturing problem, not John Lewis, but as I bought the item from them it needed to be returned to them. Dealt with Mr D Parkhouse and, on his team, Charlie & Ellie who were all excellent. Very helpful, professional, friendly and efficient. I feel confident when buying from John Lewis that I am getting quality goods and if there is a problem they will rectify the situation. Thank you to all the staff who are doing such a great job even at these difficult times.

Easy to order online with email confirmation, able to track delivery and always kept up to date on your orders . Always Very fast and prompt delivery only took 3 days to receive my product from first ordering , and if any problems there is always someone on a phone willing to help . Keep up the excellent work John Lewis

Very easy to deal with. I live in Ireland and it was very easy to make returns as I bought 2 different sizes. Free returns label provided and refund was prompt. All packaging recyclable too.
