They have everything, and the staff were very helpful on helping me choose sheets and thread count for my price range. Also for explaining the different materials and jargon to help me navigate the best set for our bedroom.

The advisers in the Technology department were excellent. They assessed my requirements - and needs. They were patient as I thought though my options. Excellent advice. Very professional and helpful.

I buy quite a lot from John Lewis and their service and delivery are prompt and well packaged. Their returns are easy and fuss free with Royal Mail or Waitrose.

Excellent as always and the same price as other merchants with the difference being the exceptional customer service you get from John Lewis. I returned an electronic item which I ordered by mistake and my refund appeared in less than a week. No quibbles No nonsense. Return was easy and free of charge at the local post office.

Needed to buy a new Smart TV. Had a look at different retailers and compared prices. We decided to visit the John Lewis store in Milton Keynes. They had a wide range of stock, the customer assistants were very helpful and helped us choose a TV suitable to our needs. It was in stock so we were able to take it with us that day. The staff in the collections bay were also very helpful and wheeled the TV out to our car and helped us load it into the car. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very polite and friendly.

We bought a washing machine recently which arrived on time, very happy with delivery, they took the old machine away. The delivery people were pleasant and very helpful. Would recommend using John Lewis for larger items not just clothes.

wide variety of good quality goods for all ages and good as a shop to go to for most things. Good return policy -no harassment . Good service and a smile from staff and no problems/ hard sale talk in browsing and asking about products without feeling compelled to buy

Fantastic customer service. I've ordered 15 or so items from them over Christmas, one of them was a towel which began to 'bobble' after one use. I dropped then an email, within 24 hours I had a call from customer services to get my address and send a replacement item, which arrived the next day.

I ordered a set of saucepans on line that were wrongly described as non stick, When i contacted John Lewis , they ordered me another set but when i went to collect them , they were identical to the first set. I took them back to the store in High Wycombe and was helped by Ben in the kitchen department. He understood the problem immediately and helped me choose a different set and sorted out the on line refund and payment for the shop purchase. He gave the sort of customer service I used to get at John Lewis- such a good member of staff. Well don eBen
