Delivery over an hour late. The App showed that the delivery driver was at the takeaway to collect the order when he wasn't. I know this because I telephoned the takeaway. Just Eat has no contact number to complain.Just Eat will be able to track how late delivery is and so could offer compensation for not doing what they say they do , which is "delivering food". Bet Just Eat don't , they are too busy advertising . If they do then I will change my review.

See my photo where their disgusting food went Who eats a fried egg that's like rubber after being kept lukewarm for an hour. Apparently Pete from Just Eat customer service who thinks its still consumable? What does he dine on at home, canine faeces perhaps, ok if its warm?

Absolutely dreadful service,waiting ages for an order with delivery times changing constantly,after waiting one hour and another 56 minute to wait I contacted them via Facebook received no reply and I cancelled the order Justeat refuses to refunded this is a joke o wonder where the food is kept is as they clam the food was ready soon after I ordered 2 hours earlier!

I’ve had several problems with just eat over the past few years, especially their customer service. Today I ordered a pizza and I was waiting over an hour for it. Suddenly, the just eat app said that my order was delivered. I tried to contact them, but I already know that’s impossible. I finally got through to their texting system, but that was no better than the only phone number they have which isn’t even for customers. The person whom I was testing definitely felt like a robot - there was too much copy and paste dialogue. Finally I called the restaurant and within a minute they resent my order. Five stars to Domino’s, zero stars to just eat.

Item missing from Chinese takeaway order. Contacted Just Eat but they won’t refund me. Dishonest and illegal. Won’t be ordering from them again. This has happened twice now and Just Eat send the same template replies every time, no matter how many times you reply. I strongly suggest avoiding them at all costs.

I've ordered food for the first time.on this app. And never get my food delivered. On the app it shows food delivered. I came out to see where the delivery man is but no sign. I admit having received 2 calls from unknown numbers but the delivery person never waited for me to response back. Instead I think the delivery person left. How much time do you think the delivery person has waited before leaving away with my food, 5 mins, 10 mins or an hour? I lost my money, my food, my lunch time looking around for my food and above that they took away my food. Where did they deliver it and to whom? They do not want to refund my money, ok but where's my food? Has it been given to charity or to feed a poor animal or the delivery person got a meal for free? I would never trust such a service again specially you can't get phone support. Only email support, which is unreliable for me.

If below one star was a thing that's what I would put. Advised by Just Eat to cancel an order as I accidentally put the wrong address, cancelled the order to reorder but Just Eat decided that the restaurant had started making the order which they hadn't as they contacted me and just eat charged me the full amount for the order. Now I have to wait 7 days for a reply from someone in customer support. Absolutely shocking that you lie to customers and advise them to do things and keep the money. I will be taking this as far as I can so anyone else please find the Reddit post and supply any information you have

Food was ready at the restaurant at 6.14pm and was eventually delivered to us at 7.36pm absolutely stone cold. But apparently Just Eat thinks this is acceptable. Appalling customer service when I raised this complaint with them.

Just Eat is barely acceptable as a fast food platform. The app and website work fine and there's sometimes good offers that make the service fees worth it. Most orders go without a hitch. Where Just Eat completely fails is the customer service, as it is non-existent. You cannot get anyone in real-time as your order continues to push farther and farther beyond your delivery time. The only way to contact support is via email, and this takes days just to get a limited response with no apology or even explanation. It is no wonder takeaways are leaving the platform for the others.

I cancelled an order that I was waiting nearly an hour for and the delivery times kept changing. the screen said that the food wasn't even being prepared and that the restaurant was still waiting for a driver. I only got a partial refund and I cannot find anywhere to complain to just eat. so they have just stolen my money because they didn't have any drivers available. They have gotten so bad with delivery times over the last few months with most delivery's for me now taking over an hour.

Thieves of the highest order. Unable to deliver a order. Utter refusal to refund to me or the restaurant Disgusting behaviour from every person I spoke. Refused to allowed me to make a formal complaint, even going as far as to close webchat. Utterly incomprehensible behaviour.

Really expensive food/delivery and poor quality customer service and overall just a bad place to buy from I wouldn't recommend Just Eat, not to mention they try shoving a subscription down your throat via notifications on your phone every single day.

Avoid them.I ordered groceries with Just Eat.They cjarged and order never arrived.They are lying that driver was at the place.zi was waiting in front of the house.Never got money back.Be careful with them.dont order.

I received an incorrect item that I could not eat. I followed the in-app process, sent the photo they asked for, and expected a quick fix - instead I got templated replies and a final decision pointing me to the FAQ. No one addressed what actually happened. No refund. If this is how clear, evidenced issues are handled, avoid Just Eat and spend your money elsewhere.

This company only cares about how much they can steal from you. They will give a delivery time and keep updating the time and delaying it by 30/40/50 minutes or even an hour. The restaurant will tell you that the order is ready to pick up by the just eat driver and you will eventually receive it after 2/3 hours, cold as ice and not allowed to get a refund or compensation and not able to even contact anyone about it.

I ordered a McDonald’s via just eat on Friday Evening, I ordered my food at 20:46, and at 20:47 I had a contact number calling my phone, I didn’t answer the phone due to not knowing the number, I then text the number asking who it was for them to say “just eat code pls”, me putting my faith and trust into just eat, I thought there must be a reason they are asking for my code so I sent it over, then at 20:48 my ordered was processed as delivered and I’m left not knowing whether to expect my food or not. I tried to call the number back for it to go straight to a voicemail that said “there is an application error” I then called the local McDonald’s and asked them what was going on for them to say they had no idea, it was also the same on their end and to contact just eat as it’s their issue. I then had to reorder my food, an hour later costing me £60 in total for two orders. I then contacted just eat, and was waiting 3 DAYS for a response, I also waited 2 HOURS on live chat to be refused my refund and told that they could confirm the code was given at the front door, if that’s the case why do I have photos of the contact number asking me for my code a minute after the order was placed? This company is beyond a joke and there is something VERY STRANGE going on with them. I won’t be using them again and advise other customers to STAY THE HELL AWAY.

Hi all Mcdonalds in Rock Retail Park Birkenhead have messed my order up again and again. If you order from the just eat app they have informed me I will not be getting a partial refund, so what was missing, A bid arch burger. Medium fries and a free medium fries plus no dips, I reported it straight away and was told no refund will be given, I paid for the food and did not get what I ordered. The customer service is shocking so now they are losing a customer.

I placed an order via Just Eat for a half chicken, costing £15. The food was never delivered. I contacted the restaurant, who informed me that they had handed the order to the delivery driver. They also stated that they did not know the driver personally, as he works for Just Eat. I attempted to contact Just Eat by phone but received no answer. Despite no delivery taking place, the order was marked as “delivered” on the Just Eat platform. No driver contacted me, nor did anyone arrive at the delivery location. I have sent several emails to Just Eat. The only response I have received is: “We have looked at the evidence and we are not going to pay the refund.” This is unacceptable, as I did not receive the goods for which I paid, and I have made multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter directly with both the restaurant and Just Eat. I request a full refund of £15 without further delay.
