I placed an order never got it delivered and they have refused to refund

The courier failed to deliver my order, but kept it for them selves. They reported the order as "delivered", but failed to show any evidence to support this claim. The Just Eat live map showed the courier stopped about two hundred metres from my home, for several minutes, then the map went to "delivered", so the courier could then make off with the entire order. Just Eat are taking the courier's word, rather than mine, the customer, even though I have three witnesses as well. Absolutely atrocious service! Guess who will be using Uber Eats instead from now on!

Ordered food, i never got a texted code and despite showing the email and scteenshots of the order and it was the correct address they took my food away. No way to dispite or contact them. They took the mpney from my account and didnt deliver my food. Theft!!!

My food didn’t arrived and it’s say delivered. I tried to get a refund and I was told the driver left it on a safe place basically outside on the streets so they can’t refund . Very disappointed and after more than decade , I will never use just eat ever again.

Order didn't arrive, was told that the driver had left it on the doorstep, which is unusual as they won't leave it without the 4 digit code. Sent then my ring doorbell video to prove no delivery was received, still they don't believe me and refused to refund. Won't be using them again, disgraceful service.

I’m disgusted with justeat. I ordered food for my children at 7pm. Waited 2 hours for the app to then tell me my food had been delivered when it had not. Went through all the stupid questions to be told they were looking into getting me a refund. At this point my poor kids were starving so I used the last of my money to get them something else seeming I would get A refund. Wrong 4 and a half hours later after my children had already eaten my order randomly shows up. I’m absolutely devastated no way to speak to a real person and the app is useless!

For a few orders it was good, but 4 times my orders got randomly cancelled. I finally removed the app after it took 3 hours to receive our food, but already had to make other arrangements for food by that time before kids went to bed. The app said delivered at 19:05 in the future (actual time was 18:35), so not sure if the app is glitchy, not sure if your order gets accepted despite not having available delivery drivers, or perhaps delivery drivers accept the order but don't collect, or a combination of issues. On top of it all, customer services absolutely couldn't care either.

Awful experience. I initially thought I might be the only one facing issues with missing orders, but now I see so many similar complaints. They don’t even have a proper helpline number to contact for urgent support — nowhere to properly raise an issue. I had to reorder my food through Deliveroo because of this mess. It’s truly disappointing how they blindly support their delivery drivers without properly verifying whether the order was actually delivered. Instead, they shift the blame onto customers with false claims like “you didn’t answer the call,” which is completely made up. Order no 567794470

Delivered cold and delivery driver tried to invite himself into my house trying to be very persuaded i felt very uncomfortable as a disabled woman who lives alone when I emailed to complain I get a £9 good will credit won't be using just eat again

Delivered product cold, the courier failed to use correct type of carrier (thermal bag), this resulted in product being stone cold when delivered and inedible. Having monitored the delivery process on the app it was slow clear yesterday the courier arrived later than the expected collection time adding to the reason food was cold when delivered. Just eat refused to accept liability, stating that they can not offer refunds due to food temperature. They charged a service charge gor delivery, I fo not see it unreasonable to expect them to deliver the food hot as per advertised and sold by restaurant.

Left my food in the street then emailed a day later to tell me. Refused a refund. This is theft and fraud. I was in the living room and there was no knock. I did not give permission for my food to be left in the street. I did not know this happened until this morning when I found a pizza HIDDEN UNDER A CHAIR. Never using this awful company again.

I ordered from fish'n'chick'n via Just eat, the app said 30 mins delivery, when the time reached 10 mins it jumped to 50 mins. I tried to cancel the order but was told it was too late and wouldn't get a refund, I phone fish'n'chick'n and was told they were already cooking the food. Fish'n'chick'n phoned me back 5 mins later to say the food was ready but no driver was at the restaurant. Just eat lied saying it was the restaurant when they didn't have any drivers. When the food arrived it was excellent. Won't use just eat again.

Worst company I have ever come across. Purchased the food of £25. The whole order didn’t get delivered but the app was showing it was delivered. Contacted the customer service, refused to refund as they are saying we were not at home. It’s a family house with 5 dogs. The dogs get crazy even anyone is walking on the side road. everyone was at home as it was after 10pm. I had to re order the whole thing as it was late and everyone was starting. I re ordered the food from the same restaurant after googling them and the manager informed this happened several times before where customers called them and enquired about their just eat order. I’m a doctor , I really don’t have time to argue over £25 food. What matters to me is the moral value. I will think that i did some charity. My journey with just eat ends here.

If zero stars was an option that's what it would be! Appalling customer service! We received food that was not fit for consumption. Metallic taste and a foreign non edible substance through the food. Requested a refund as per their terms and conditions, with pictures ect, and got nothing but copy and paste responses, with a flat refusal to refund, in contravention to their own blerb on terms and conditions and their obligations to the customer using their platform, therefore making ridiculous platform fees completely redundant. I've been a customer for years, but following this I have Deleted my account, and will use an alternative platform, as hate to break it to you JE your not the only player in town, and the others seem to value their customers.

I applied for a refund after my order was not delivered to my hotel in Stratford, East London. The driver messaged me to say the road was blocked and did not know what to do, and I asked him to call me but he did not. Another driver delivering to the hotel offered to help and speak to my driver, but my driver did not call me.The delivered notification then appeared on the order, but no food was delivered. Just Eat's response was this: "The courier delivering your order made several attempts to contact you before leaving your order in a safe place. This means we won’t be able to process a refund." 1) He did not call me as requested 2) He did not leave my order in a safe place. If he left my order somewhere, it was nowhere near the entrance of the hotel. Before making this order, I had made several orders with the company, and yet this was not taken into consideration when dealing with my complaint. I will never use Just Eat again.

Food was never delivered and they refused to give me a refund. I always have food delivered, instead I was told to go and collect it. Disgusting service, hope they go bankrupt!
