Placed an order with a restaurant on Just Eat on Sunday at 7pm, I was then told at 19:30 that my order had been cancelled. not a great experience. I then placed another order with another restaurant and was told delivery should be made by 20:30. I was notified at 20:15'ish that my food was out for delivery. Roll on 8:45 and still no sign of the food, i stated on the app that my order had not arrived and i had to then wait another 5 minutes before I could ask for a status update from the restaurant at which point i stated it had still not arrived and I was told delivery would be made by 21:05. at 21:15 i was making a call to the restaurant to chase and the food arrived. the food was delivered by a taxi driver and was stone cold which you could feel when you touched the bag. I tried to refuse the delivery at that point but the taxi driver refused to take the bag back. i had waiting over two and a quarter hours since my original order, for a food that was ultimately inedible. The prawn Pakora and chips did not microwave at all well, and there was essentially only one dish salvaged out of the lot. I could not contact anyone abnout the order and was offered a 25% app credit which is worthless as i will not be using just eat again. I will be honest most of the food was put in the bin, We also had to start eating something else in the intervening wait. eating at after 9pm is really not good IMHO

I wouldn't even give them 1 star if that was possible I ordered a McDonald's today from Whitburn it was rotten chips and burgers were cold like lay a while before sent out I then sent just eat a message to say not good quality and to be told hrs later they can't do anything there quick to take money for there service and rip there customers off avoid them at all cost scoffible a little better not much

DRIVER STEALING FOOD! REFUSING REFUND! We had ordered a pizza to be delivered through just eat, the app showed the pizza was delivered (apparently) I then contacted papa john to chase my order thought just eat as it's hard to contact them. Papa John's have then gotten just eat to emails us. We showed proof we never received order. They still refused to do a refund, i then asked the to escalate this issue higher which the response was no to a refund. I have now taken action outside of just eat to resolve this issue. I have now had to pay papa John's direct to deliver. I will now and advise others to go direct straight to the main branch. Plus it's cheaper. SHAME ON YOU JUST-EAT!

Spend thousands over 20 years since 2006 and they won't refund me £5. Disgraceful customer service that has no interest in hearing you out. They will just delegate it to a guy in India who does repeat copy and paste answers. I wish I could give a zero. App is now deleted and will never use you again. Great job over £5!!!

Incredibly poor customer service when things go wrong. I placed a £34 order at burgerking, my food arrived with cold bottles of pop and chilled desserts on top of the hot food, all in one bag. Everything was cold. I contacted JE only to have to explain myself five times, request an escalation twice and be told that I am not entitled to any refund because my delivery driver arrived within 15 minutes of leaving the store and their policy states that for that reason im not entitled to any refund. Nobody reads my emails, im just getting the same policy response that they delivered the food on time

On multiple occasions I've had items missing from my order and just eat never refunds anything. Don't waste your time with this service. They are useless and customer service won't do anything to help

I ordered food. The food was cold. Went through the app and it said someone would get back to me. No one got back to me at all shocking customer service. I'll give just eats a miss and go get my food instead. Cut out the middle man or woman

Ordered two pizza thin crust with BBQ base both pizza came with tomato base and thicker dough base. They were awful! Contacted just eat and they refused to refund or offer credit. I dint get what I ordered but according to them this is absolutely fine!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the resolution process provided by Just Eat. My order arrived incomplete, with two items missing. I reported the issue immediately and supplied photographic evidence. Despite this, my claim was rejected without explanation or meaningful investigation. This outcome is unacceptable. Under UK consumer law, customers are entitled to receive the goods they have paid for. Where goods are not supplied, a refund is the minimum expected resolution. Refusing this places the financial burden on the customer for a failure that occurred within Just Eat’s service. What is particularly troubling is the apparent lack of due process. My evidence was ignored, no clarification was sought, and the decision appears to have been made automatically. This is not simply a customer service issue — it raises serious questions about whether Just Eat’s dispute handling processes are aligned with consumer protection obligations. I am now out of pocket for items I did not receive. Unless this is resolved, I will be escalating the matter further.

Order marked as delivered but the food never arrived. I contacted the driver and was waiting at the address, and there are message records confirming this. Despite this, Just Eat refused to issue a refund and failed to provide any valid proof of delivery (no photo, no GPS confirmation, nothing). Closing a case like this without evidence is unacceptable. I have now escalated this through my bank. Very disappointing experience and lack of accountability.

If I could give 0 stars I would but it’s not allowing me to. Just eat is a scam and is absolutely pathetic. I placed an order through just eat and I spent over £100 my food took ages to come it arrived cold and half of my order was missing. I have tried contacting just eat about this and they have said they can not offer any compensation. I absolutely disgusted by this service and will not be ordering of this app ever again and my advice to everyone is to not use this app unless you want cold food or items missing from your order

Deleted this app they are no good would not legitimately refund me ! I was genuinely asking as my delivery was cold and very late kept receiving texts to say late with no facilities to cancel my order

Drivers now allowed to sit and wait for an hour for another order to come through whilst your food goes cold and inedible. I made an order via just eat and they turned up with the complete wrong order in a uber eats bag. Not only are they waiting for 2 or 3 just eat orders they're waiting for 2 or 3 uber eats orders. You can order food that's been sat for an hour then they deliver 5 other orders before they get to you. Absolutely disgusting. Then just eat say you got your cold food whats the problem, no refund for you. Now after waiting over an hour the greedy money grabbing delivery driver has cancelled my delivery. Do I get any explanation or an apology, no just the delivery driver cant be bothered so stuff you. NEVER AGAIN JUST EAT.

£70 order never delivered – driver lied, refund refused I am a registered nurse and after a long shift I ordered over £70 worth of food through Just Eat. The order never arrived. The delivery driver falsely claimed there was “no access” to my front door. This is simply untrue. I live on the ground floor with a separate, clearly accessible entrance, and I provided full delivery instructions on the app explaining exactly how to reach it. I also have camera footage confirming the driver never came anywhere near my property. If the food was “delivered,” then it was clearly left on a public access path, where anyone could take it, which means it was never delivered securely or to me. Despite providing this information, Just Eat refused to issue a refund. So I have effectively paid £70 for food I never received, due to either driver dishonesty or negligence. This is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to fight to prove non-delivery when there is clear evidence. I will now be escalating this to Trading Standards. Avoid using this service if you expect accountability.

Absolutely shocking experience. Ordered a burger and chips and received just fries. Called the restaurant and they admitted they only received fries on their system due to “technical issues.” So clearly something went wrong on the platform. Raised a claim the same night and got a lazy, copy-paste response saying the order was “correct.” No investigation, no accountability, nothing. Contested it again and was told they wouldn’t accept my claim because I’ve supposedly made “too many” — which is completely untrue. I haven’t raised an issue in months, and only ever do when something actually goes wrong. So let me get this straight: I pay for food I don’t receive, the error is acknowledged, and I still get refused a refund because of some made-up claim history? That’s not just poor service, that’s outright dismissive and dishonest. If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be using them again. And I’d strongly advise others to think twice — because if something goes wrong, don’t expect them to fix it. You have STOLEN MY MONEY!! Order no: 831870819

Tried to order from the attendant cardiff through just eat,it says they area 5 star rated restaurant so I clicked on the attendant to order food,it then takes me to the menu to order but it now says they are a 4 star restaurant,so I thought ik let's check the reviews so yeah the reviews will not open,strange,i thought I'd ring justeat so I googled the number and I rang it,there is no option to speak to anybody unless you are a fkn youtuber twaat that is already at the restaurant eating so I thought fukkc this bullshitt and closed the account that I've had for years,who the fukc would want to pay a 5er for delivery plus and 3 for some bullshiit and extra 1 quid in too of the fkn dumb price for greek food,im greek them prices are fkn dumb

like many others said, the app has gone down hill, spend £48 for cold food, can't get through to anyone. 24 hours later just eat ask for photos... photos of what? cold food? oh ill go pick it out the wheelie bin shall I? they offer 9.20 refund..... seems fair. deleted the app, they will never see a penny of my money ever again. yet another corporate beast dominating the market, then once all the competition is gone, hike up prices and lower standards.

Ordered food at around 5.30 pm, came to nearly £40. The estimated delivery time was between 6 and 6.15. I kept looking at the app and it kept saying searching for driver. At 7pm, I looked at the app and it said it had been delivered. No food. Looked to see if there was a number i could ring to speak to someone to let them know we hadn't got it and to see where it was. I thought then they might have taken it to wrong place but I gave it another half an hour. So at half 7 (an hour and 15 minutes after estimated delivery time and half an hour after it said it had been delivered) I decided to give up on it. By then kids were starving and upset that their treat hadn't come, so I ordered the same thing with Uber Eats. Came in 20 minutes. Submitted a complaint on the site saying it never arrived. 9.15pm when my kids are in bed and we're all settled there's a knock at the door. Just Eat. I explained that I ordered it hours ago and no longer wanted it and told him to take it back. The driver asked for my code, so I gave it him. (Big mistake) I am not entitled to a refund.
