“Absolutely shocking experience. Ordered a burger and chips and received just fries. Called the restaurant and they admitted they only received fries on their system due to “technical issues.” So clearly something went wrong on the platform. Raised a claim the same night and got a lazy, copy-paste response saying the order was “correct.” No investigation, no accountability, nothing. Contested it again and was told they wouldn’t accept my claim because I’ve supposedly made “too many” — which is completely untrue. I haven’t raised an issue in months, and only ever do when something actually goes wrong. So let me get this straight: I pay for food I don’t receive, the error is acknowledged, and I still get refused a refund because of some made-up claim history? That’s not just poor service, that’s outright dismissive and dishonest. If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be using them again. And I’d strongly advise others to think twice — because if something goes wrong, don’t expect them to fix it. You have STOLEN MY MONEY!! Order no: 831870819”

“Tried to order from the attendant cardiff through just eat,it says they area 5 star rated restaurant so I clicked on the attendant to order food,it then takes me to the menu to order but it now says they are a 4 star restaurant,so I thought ik let's check the reviews so yeah the reviews will not open,strange,i thought I'd ring justeat so I googled the number and I rang it,there is no option to speak to anybody unless you are a fkn youtuber twaat that is already at the restaurant eating so I thought fukkc this bullshitt and closed the account that I've had for years,who the fukc would want to pay a 5er for delivery plus and 3 for some bullshiit and extra 1 quid in too of the fkn dumb price for greek food,im greek them prices are fkn dumb”

“like many others said, the app has gone down hill, spend £48 for cold food, can't get through to anyone. 24 hours later just eat ask for photos... photos of what? cold food? oh ill go pick it out the wheelie bin shall I? they offer 9.20 refund..... seems fair. deleted the app, they will never see a penny of my money ever again. yet another corporate beast dominating the market, then once all the competition is gone, hike up prices and lower standards.”

“Ordered food at around 5.30 pm, came to nearly £40. The estimated delivery time was between 6 and 6.15. I kept looking at the app and it kept saying searching for driver. At 7pm, I looked at the app and it said it had been delivered. No food. Looked to see if there was a number i could ring to speak to someone to let them know we hadn't got it and to see where it was. I thought then they might have taken it to wrong place but I gave it another half an hour. So at half 7 (an hour and 15 minutes after estimated delivery time and half an hour after it said it had been delivered) I decided to give up on it. By then kids were starving and upset that their treat hadn't come, so I ordered the same thing with Uber Eats. Came in 20 minutes. Submitted a complaint on the site saying it never arrived. 9.15pm when my kids are in bed and we're all settled there's a knock at the door. Just Eat. I explained that I ordered it hours ago and no longer wanted it and told him to take it back. The driver asked for my code, so I gave it him. (Big mistake) I am not entitled to a refund.”

“Ordered a Macdonalds which never arrived, therefore, we did not provide the order/ delivery code. Contacted justeat who are refusing a refund. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE JUST EAT!”

“one star. its just awful experience. they have send driver at my property that ate half of my order and denied a refund. the driver was as well smoking at the property and when I reported it I got no response. The customer service it just 0/10 not even 1/10. better use user eats that this. On top of that there is no traceability of the drivers like Uber eats where we can see the driver in real time. My rating will be 0 out of 100”

“The status report on the app told us that our order had been collected by the courier and was on the way. It was four minutes from delivery. Then a note popped up stating that the courier couldn't be contacted but don't worry, your order will arrive shortly. And then Just Eat cancelled it, without explanation, and suggested we might want to order something else. The restaurant rang, asking if we'd cancelled, and confirmed they'd handed over nearly £50 worth of food to the courier who Just Eat had sent. The obvious conclusion is that he has stolen it. No contact phone number nor any other readily available mechanism for lodging a complaint. We've used Just Eat for years but I can't see us giving them any more business. The conclusion I draw from this is that they anticipate a percentage of the orders which they process being stolen by people who they employ off the street but that they don't care because it's a small proportion of their turnover.”

“The service provided by Just Eat has been appalling. Our pizza has gone 'missing' twice, ie eaten by the delivery driver, but getting through to Just Eat to complain is nigh on impossible. Having lost over £40, they should be ashamed of stealing our, and many others', hard earned cash. I intend to write to Watchdog as Just Eat's unacceptable behaviour needs to be made public so that no-one uses them again.”

“Completely scammers ,fraud I did ordered from restaurant but buy mistake ordered wrong item so have straight canceled ,on the main time have called restaurant to tell I done mistake They said don’t worry Just Eat will give you refund we will send you order you ca. pay on delivery witch I did Just eat charge me £26 for nothing ,to get my origin order completely cold food Please avoid this company It’s fraud”

“Scammed by delivery driver! I waited 2 hours for my takeaway to be delivered and when the app said it was due, the delivery driver phoned me and said there wasn’t any food as there was a glitch in the app. He said if I gave him the delivery code and then call the restaurant they would organise a refund. I gave him the code over the phone, he marked it as delivered and drove off with my food! I called the restaurant who told me to contact just eat directly. I attempted to call the delivery driver back but surprisingly, he had blocked my number. I reported to just eat and the response I got was that my food was registered as delivered. I know it was because I was scammed by one of their delivery drivers and I’d told them these details in my complaint. This can’t be the first time this driver has scammed customers and there must be a pattern.”

“I ORDED ICE LAND SHOPPING AROUND £80 TO £90, THE DRIVER SAID ON THE MAP HE/SHE IS OUT SIDE WHEN I HAVE GONE TO CHEACK THERE WAS NO ONE THERE AND HE/SHE HAS PUT THE FOOD AS DELIVERED. So i have no food at this point and i can’t even contact them as i have ordered as a guest, so i tried sending them a E-mail about this i sent it THREE times and got no reply. i am shocked at how bad just eat can be don’t order from there they are soo bad at dealing with orders even the other day i thought let me give them a chance as they are cheaper than Uber eats to order drinks for Christmas and new years, I ordered one drink or two i get something completely different and they charge me for it when, i try to complain they say they can’t do anything about it??? what kind of company is just eat such a crappy place to order from they are a rip off and have no morals they don’t take the customers interest on top of that when they make the mistake and accountable for it they tried to avoid fixing the problem, to be honest don’t order from just eat they are going to make you have a bad day, and if you are ordering food for three days you won’t get even one days food and they won’t even give you a refund such a POOR place just eat is, bad customer serves, bad communication, Can’t give you a refund when they know they’re in the wrong. Just don’t order from there unless you want a KID to deal with you’re order.”

“Just Don't Eat...Truly abysmal customer service...they do not like giving out refunds/vouchers for genuinely low-grade product...too many places now dishing up bin-grade food and expecting folks just to put up with it...I objected and JE decided I was confused about 'variation' in food...when in fact what I got was basically inedible...Ive closed my account will never use them again and will go direct to the shop/take out.”
