Bought a £200 copper vanity desk, very poor build quality - nothing lined up, wobbled horrendously, joins not straight. Contacted made.com but very poor customer service, offered a derisory very partial refund. Won't be using again

made.com furniture looks cool and seems a good price, however, the delivery service and quality control is not so good. My dining table and chairs suffered multiple manufacturing faults and possible transit damage. After the 2nd faulty table delivery they sent me a nominal part refund as couldn't bear waiting another 8 weeks for a replacement.

Lovely products but dreadful customer service. For me, it's the customer service which can make all the difference. I ordered three lampshades, two of which were not quite the colour I expected, so I returned them. I didn't realise that you have to pay for both delivery and returns (my fault for not checking the small print I suppose), so buying and returning any item below about £20 turns out to be a far more expensive experience than you might have thought. In addition, several months on, I am still chasing my refund for the returned items - despite two emails and a phone call! Sorry, Made.com, but no matter how lovely your products, I will not be shopping with you again.
