“Was advised delivery would be 25/11 between 8.00 and 17.00. At 14.48 I tried to call, but found customers can only leave a message for a call back, so at 14.56 I emailed asking for confirmation delivery was still on for Monday. At 15.26 I got a call from Dean to say that it would be with me within the hour. At 16.54, conscious of your 17.00 closedown, I called again and left a message that no delivery had happened. I waited on site till 17.40. In the morning I called at 8.55 and left a message requesting confirmation if delivery was coming today, noting the commitment to receive a call back within 1 working hour. By 10.23 I was about to call again when a delivery driver called to say he would be with me by 11.00 - which he was. I waited around for 14 hours in total. Your communication with customers needs improvement.”

Hi Nigel, Thank you for your order and also taking the time to review us. I am sorry to hear that your delivery din't go to plan. Sometimes our phone lines can be busy but we endeavour to call customers back within 1 business hour of leaving a message. As we are an online business, we can also be contacted via email and also chat, online. As you mentioned, we had been told that your delivery should be with you in an hours time from our hauliers. Unfortunately, the delivery before yours had some issues that meant that the vehicle was stuck on site for over 2 hours. This wasn't relayed to us until we chased the delivery on the following morning having picked up your voicemail at 9am in the morning. Whilst we were trying to find out a delivery time and address any issues, we were informed that the delivery had been made. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. As a gesture of good will, we will also be raising a credit for the small order carriage charge that was paid.

“I ordered 14 boards of Quinn Therm the next day I was asked if I would take Cellotec I agreed. The order was sent But only 9 boards arrived I was promised them the following day they didn't arrive. the following day I cancelled the remaining boards. I asked for a refund on the cost of the 5 boards which has gone into my account today So say thankyou to all at online Insulation. But can only rate them as Poor.”

Good morning Ray, thank you for your order and review. We apologise for this mix up with the first delivery. Our distributors didn't let us know that there would be a shortage for your delivery. As we agreed on the telephone, you may have got your delivery dates a little muddled and the balance delivery was out on the day that you cancelled it. You also said at the time that were happy with the service and that the confusion wouldn't stop you from ordering from us again in the future.

“Whilst the delivery worked well and insulation is fine, I am very disappointed with the quality of the plywood. I was hoping to use it as an internal wall finish but it is quite rough and ready so that isn’t really an option now.”

Thank you for your review and order Martin. I'm afraid the ply-wood products that we supply are for building purposes and not a decorative finish. However, should you not be happy with them, please let us know and we can get them swapped over for you.

“Decent price, and arrived on time. But when I came to use, I noticed there was quite a bit of damage on the foil faces of the Celotex. This is a vapour control layer, which work work if it is ripped. Think I'll try elsewhere next time.”
