“Good product but delivery process not helpful. I have received broken celotex boards as a result of the driver wanting to lift all the boards at once.”

“Excellent value for money on product. Communication around delivery could be better . Was informed of wrong date and had to re arrange my schedule at short notice due to the heavy cost of re delivery wasn't delivered until the 29th . got a text at 6.50 am to say it will be there between 7 and 9”

Thank you so much for your kind words about Online Insulation Ltd, Lorna! As you mentioned, emailed you on the 26th when you placed your order to let you know your delivery would be on the 28th as the vehicles were already booked for the 29th. We were completely unaware that your delivery had been changed back to the 29th by our hauliers as a space had opened up with them so we apologise for this inconvenience, we have spoken to them about the importance of letting us and our customers know. We certainly would not have charged any re-delivery costs based on this and we are sorry for any issues caused.

“Tile cracked on arrival, potentially more cracked but not gone through the tiles yet. Very disappointing as they are very expensive for concrete tiles.”

Hi Jack, As discussed on the phone just now. Your delivery of a pack of roof tiles was made yesterday and we have not heard from you since then about any damages. We do ask that the goods that are delivered are signed and checked when you receive them. As mentioned on the phone, if you can let us know if there are any others damaged, this evening, we will look in to getting these swapped over for you. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

“Delivered quickly and efficiently at a good price. 1 board badly damaged by a forklift I suspect given the nature of the damage making 50% of the board unusable. Shame because my previous order was great.”

“The boards were stacked incorrectly for the order. On delivery they slipped and damaged the edges of 50% of the boards.”

Hi Neil, Thanks for your review. It's often best for you to let us know if thee is an issue as we are more than happy to replace any damages. Unfortunately, if you don't let us know, we can't put it right for you. Once you have received your goods, we give you a further 24 hours to sign and check your delivery and let us know about any issues.

“Ordering online was easy with good communication. Delivery was as promised on day selected and the driver went above and beyond to help with offload. The only criticism was twelve 2400 x 1200 x 12.5 boards were delivered instead of the twelve 1800 x 600 x 9.5 boards which I ordered, and I will now have to cut them down. Also, it would have been useful for a delivery time slot to be advised on the day. This prevents me giving 5 stars, but overall excellent service with unbeatable prices.”

“Items arrived on time and well packed... but driver was unable to get the pallet off the truck as it had been loaded side on... and there was no way for the driver to put the truck under as the sides were solid. Arranged to have it re-delivered... but it means another day off work.”

Thanks for your 3-star review. We really appreciate it. The reason that the boards were on the pallet in this was is that we needed to deliver on a smaller van due to access at your address. this way they could have been taken off of the back of the vehicle for you.

“Ordering process very simple and straightforward, competitive pricing and quick delivery. However, the actual delivery of the order was not good. I was given a 2-hour delivery time slot and a tracking reference. The tracking system was useless and gave me no information whatsoever. 15 minutes after the end of the time slot I rang the number given and was told the driver was on his way and would be with me within 30 minutes. After 45 minutes I rang again and was told he was on his way, they couldn’t contact the driver, they had no idea where he might be and anyway, Sharon, the girl I spoke couldn’t do anything because she was in sales and had nothing to do with deliveries. Really unhelpful and refused to acknowledge that there was any fault on their part. No apology for me having wasted a whole morning, etc. The delivery finally turned up an hour late. Driver was sorry and seemed totally unaware that he was late. All in all, not very happy. A fair amount of damage to the boards although not bad enough to warrant exchanging or returning. The delivery company was CCF/Travis Perkins.”

“Not over impressed. quite a few of the sheets have damage to them looks like they've been abused with the forklift. Though I'd try you out as normal use local builders yard which are slightly more expensive”

Hi Paul, Thanks for your review. We ask that customers check materials when they are delivered and then you sign for them if you are happy and are in good condition. We then give you another 24 hours to check the materials again for damage and let us know if there are any issues as we are always happy to resolve these issues. We have not heard anything from you about these damages so we have not been given any opportunity to put this right for you.

Hi Philip, your delivery is booked for 25.04.22 as requested by yourself when placing your order and confirmed to you on 11.04.22. It seems very strange that you should write a review 6 days before your required delivery date

“Delivery left outside. Door was not knocked. Many insulation panels look like seconds with light damage.”

Hi Liam, thanks for your review. It is always best for you to let us know if you have problems with deliveries as it gives us an opportunity to put things right. It's strange that you didn't hear the door being knocked or the lorry outside your house as these make quite a lot of noise when they are unloading.

Thanks for your review Krzysztof. Your order was processed on 10.02.22 (Thursday) and we delivered on 15.02.22 (Tuesday) Three working days after your order had been placed. We do ask our customers to requested delivery dates that suit the materials that they are ordering and in this case, all of the materials are 3 - 5 working days for delivery so we couldn't deliver sooner than 3 days. We did email you on 10.02.22 to confirm this with you and also to again make you aware that our deliveries are kerbside only. We haven't heard from you directly about any issues but please feel free to get in touch if you have any further concerns.

Hi Pervez, thanks for your review. We give out customers 24 hours to check the materials delivered and report any issues with them. It's a shame you didn't let us know about the small indentations on the insulation board as we could have looked into swapping this for you. Hopefully us changing your delivery address from Peterborough to Loughborough helped you though.

“Had no idea when my order would be delivered, no response to emails or didn’t pick up the phone. Changed the manufacturer of the insulation but didn’t give me the price difference. One of the board was a different thickness. Their only saving grace was the guy who delivered it was brilliant.”

“The order arrived as expected, albeit a day late (with no notice). Great prices and very helpful delivery driver, but customer service from the shop was poor, as my concerns/inquiries were either replied to late, or not at all.”
