I placed an order for 6 items. All products were supposed to be in stock. I paid for 2 day shipping. After about 3 days I received an email saying 2 of the products were backordered and my entire order wouldn't ship until they were in stock. I explained that they could cancel those orders and just send the "in stock" items. They agreed to this. Well, 2 weeks later they still hadn't shipped any of my items. I decided to cancel my order. They refused to cancel my order. I explained to them I would just call my credit card company. Two days later they provided me with a tracking number. Now I'll have to return the merchandise, after waiting over three weeks to receive it. Clearly they didn't have ANY of my order in stock at time of purchase. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I made a purchase but they sent me a different item. I contacted them requesting that they send me the item I ordered and paid for but they will not cooperate. I recommend that you find another company to purchase from, just not worth the hassle dealing with Optics Planet.

Purchased 2 items and ship date was changed so delayed almost 3 months. Wasn't allowed to cancel and was told shipping was imminent. 3 months isn't imminent. Will not do business with OpticsPlanet again and suggest avoiding them.

Worst most poorly managed company in the industry. They dont havr what tbey claim they have, and send you yhe next best thing.......even when you ordered ab$3600 scope. Then they refuse to take your call, and you are subjected to long recordings of someone in management whining how "tirelessly" they are working to fix all of their screw ups.....i should have just stuck with midway usa, they got me what i needed with lightning fast speed. One company well managed, the other a compkete sh!#show. Stay away from optics planet

Ordered a scope. Money was paid. Received an email that they did not have product would we like to cancel. Sent the reply to cancel and no refund has been issued. If you don't have the merchandise and you know it, you should advise before you take someone's hard earned money, especially in these tough times. I have contacted, paypal and optics planet and there has not been a word of communication from optics planet. This was to be Christmas present for son. Not good!

Took 6 weeks to get the original order. One item was dropped shipped from just 50 miles away. That item was more or less worthless. I did the whole Return authorization etc. Its been 2 months and I haven't even got a noticed that they got it. Then don't bother trying to call

customer service is trash. Ordered a $125+ backpack which arrived with flaws. I immediately called them, but nobody was available. I emailed them 3 times later over times, again I got no reply. They grabbed my money while don't care the rest. Will never do business with them.

bad experience is a serious UNDERSTATEMENT!! I placed an order November 11th … I have called numerous times... on the occasion that I do not sit on the phone for 15 minutes then get disconnected, I get someone who says im sorry, I will look into it and get it escalated … so it is Now December 26th and I still sit here with NOTHING!!!!! do you think anyone will actually ship the items … I mean its only a miniscule $1200.00+ … im biting my tongue on what I really think … "incompetence" at this point is also seems like an understatement … Lets see if this last phone call actually does something the other calls have not the selections below do not allow for multiple selections. … I tried calling and emailing

I have place in order 5 days ago they sent me email saying they were shipped they never give me a tracking number I got a contact with them they give me a tracking number but the tracking number wasn't for me it was for another order that was delivered to Texas and I don't live in Texas I want to recommend anybody to buy anything in the store they don't have customer service they weren't answering your questions but they charge a card very fast I've been trying to get in touch with them again and again and again and then seeing they don't have no customer service at all this is a whole bunch of bull 🐂

Still waiting on my order. I ordered the item 2 weeks ago and it's still in processing. If it's out of stock such say something or send a email. This is my first and last purchase from them.

Planed to purchase a $5K order but feel skeptical due the low review. I decide to make a small purchase to try them out. After a couple of days it was cancel since they can’t get information from the vendor to fill out a custom form. Really customs to ship to Puerto Rico? Puerto Rico is a United States territory, and as such, USPS treats Puerto Rico as a domestic mailing destination. Therefore, you don't need to fill out customs forms when shipping to Puerto Rico. I will take the $5k telescope order with other company.

Instock item is not instock, system says possibly instock 4 months later!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot cancel order because status is in process, WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Possibly the worst customer service, Service line gives a message that voice mail messages will not be answered then says you can leave a message for a return call if you do not wish to wait on hold???!!! Told me after numerous inquiries on why my order did not process I needed to fill out a form which I did but never received any confirmation. More inquiries, no response until I sent a message that said either refund or let me know the order is processing. The order was promptly canceled. Take my advice do not order from this company, you will just be wasting time and money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. tried to order a bipod for hunting. They said it would be a 3 to 5 day delay on shipping. It's been a month and the order status still says "order is being fulfilled" so I cannot cancel the order or get in touch with customer service. I've sent several emails and they are not taking calls at this time. Total scam! Do not use this company.

If I could give them a negative rating-I would! Horrible customer service. I ordered items and paid extra for expedited shipping. I understand some places are still bouncing back from Covid, but after 7 months and no one manning phones, no -one returning phones calls?? All you get is the standard e-mail telling you Covid has slowed them down. B.S. Other companies are answering phones and returning e-mails.

They only offered USPS shipping to my location despite the known severe problems with their local USPS Distro Center. After the item became "lost," OP won't answer or return phone calls or reply to emails.

Last July 3rd I purchased a pair of binoculars at opticsplanet.com I chose this retailer because years ago I (uneventfully) bought another pair there, and the price was average. One month later, the parcel is lost somewhere “in transit” in the USPS network. No further information about parcel location or estimated date of arrival. The last “in transit” carrier update was on july 20, and according to Optics Planet policy, I’ll have to wait 20 more business days from that july 20, for them to start looking at the issue. That will be around mid august. Their customer support is good for nothing. Once the parcel is dispatched, contacting them is, besides very difficult, totally useless because they know nothing. I’ve found (too late), that there are many people with similar complaints and they are rating this retailer very low. To summarize: You buy an item that might or might not arrive after many weeks waiting. You can’t cancel the order and get your money back because it is in transit. It’s not wise to buy again this item elsewhere, because you might end up with two units, if the first one eventually arrives. They retain your money, waste your time, and if you were planning to use this product, say on a trip, forget about it.
