Can’t get a live person or a response by email. My lpvo was shipped by usps which is a mistake to start with. Tracking info was off and needed a signature which I was not notified. Now usps is saying there’s incomplete address info and want to charge me for re-delivery. I won’t be buying from optics planet again.

Terrible customer service. Terrible requirements. Ordered something for US address, paid from US card, unfortunately dared to use foreign email. Now I have to response to query about who am I why am I buying what I'm planning to do with it. Once I provided it I was held on phone call for 45 minutes and the order still didn't get processed that day. Absolutely terrible seller and service!!! DO NOT use.

Placed next day air order with them and after not receiving shipping info I called them and Tim told me that order was cancelled, I did not receive any notice of cancellation from them. Totally unacceptable and will be using them again

I just saw that 410 gauge shotgun shells are being sold for over $8 each (over $40 a box) on Optics Planet while everyone else is sold out. I would sell out as well rather than to appear THAT predatory. There is some sort of an artificial shortage in that gauge. People will likely REMEMBER who the gougers are at times like this.

This place really sucks the shipping is absolutely horrible and customer service sucks I had a 250 dollar sight that never showed up and they won't refund my money..I'm writing this review to warn others don't do it shop elsewhere what a horrible company

Bought telescope and one of parts (Laser Pointer) was broken when I received the product. Notified company via email support. Was told to do an RMA. I asked if they wanted the whole package back or just the broken part to replace. Response I received stated... "Thank you for contacting us about your order! Yes sir, you can, since it respect the delay of return." which makes no sense and does not tell me about next steps. I packed up everything and the RMA required me to pay for return shipping. I sent a note to their support stating since the product arrived broken I was not paying for the shipping to return it. The response I got was "Okay. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again." By no way was this response correcting my issue with having to pay for shipping nor any direction on next steps. I then reached out to my credit card company to dispute this charge as the company was not making this process simple. Now OpticsPlanet says they will not send a pre-paid return shipping label until I remove the chargeback/dispute from my credit card company. I will not be held hostage by a business that operates in this manner.

PURCHASED IT ON OCT 31. UPS LOST IT AND LIED THAT THEY TRIED TO DELIVER IT. OPTICS PLANET WILL NOT RE-SHIP OR REFUND MONEY FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS EVEN THOUGH UPS INTERNAL INVESTIGATION CONCLUDED THE PACKAGE WAS LOST BY THEM (STOLEN BY A THIEF DRIVER). THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT WITH THEM THAT THEY HAVE TO WAIT 15 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE FILING A CLAIM. SO YOU AS A CUSTOMER GET SCREWED FROM BOTH ENDS. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN DO BUSINESS WITH OP. THEIR CS MANAGER WAS NICE BUT THEIR INTERNAL POLICIES SUCK WHEN IT COMES TO LOST ITEMS. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT IMPORTANT TO THEM AS LONG AS THEY GET YOUR MONEY FIRST. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ADDITIONAL 2 WEEKS TO EVEN BE QUALIFIED TO RECEIVE THE REFUND AND GOD KNOWS HOW LONG THAT WILL TAKE. AS BAD AS THE ECONOMY IS, YOU WOULD FIGURE THAT CUSTOMER RETENTION WOULD BE A PRIORITY FOR ANY BUSINESS, NOT HERE THOUGH.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Order products 2 months ago and they keep pushing back the shipping date. They are filling my emails with promotional offers and can't get me my original order. Very poor. How are they the first sight to pop up on Google?

This company is dishonest and disrespectful. I ordered 7 red dot sights, at just a slightly better deal than I could get elsewhere. I expected about a week's time for delivery. One week and a weekend later, no delivery, no contact from Optics Planet. I called them. They cancelled my order, no notification. I asked why and I got a lot of bullcrap runaround, ie, an extension that was tied to nobody, a number that would hang up on me. I checked the website again and the same item had been raised in price by 30 dollars. The only thing I can figure is that these guys may have thought they were selling the item too cheaply so they cancelled the order and raised the price instead of hing a previously made commitment. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!

Optics Planet SUCKS! They cancelled an order I placed 3 days ago for a muzzle brake, without contacting me - NO NOTICE, NO EXPLANATION. I looked at their website and they are showing this item "in stock." I would not reorder from them because they DO NOT DESERVE MY BUSINESS! WHO CONDUCTS THEIR BUSINESS THIS WAY? BUYERS BEWARE, ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS CAN'T BE WRONG! Save yourself time and trouble, buy elsewhere. They really are that badddd!

I request and paid for next day delivery. After the 2nd day I called them and asked where it was... Their response was 'We'll ship it next day when we finally ship it which could be up to a week'. ???? WTF? Then they said it was out of stock and they'd get it to me ASAP. I was in awe especially since they took my $29 for next day! I cancelled the order, ordered the same part from Midway and got it the next day for a few bucks more. In the past I've ordered from them and they've taken forever.. Same with their 'Member site' DVOR.

HORRIBLE COMPANY....THEY ARE TIED WITH PURE TALK FOR THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET...LIKE OTHERS HAVE STATED NO NAME ON BUSINESS IS NO BUSINESS...ANOTHER IF YOU NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM OPTIC PLANET CONSIDER YOURSELF FORTUNATE!!! I WAS NOT SO SMART...I PLACED 5 ORDERS,,,SOMETHING WRONG ON ALL 5 ORDERS IN THEIR FAVOR,,,PLUS ONCE YOU PUT A ITEM IN YOUR CART,,,GO BACK TO ORDER OPTIC PLANET HAS RAISED THE PRICE!!! They raise the price of items once on your cart...the business does not even have a name on the building....I've placed 5 orders...Something was wrong on all 5 orders in their favor. The last order 21/03/22 I ordered two items a set of 30mm rings I needed and a sbr case just to have another back up...The case comes ups in 3 days...But no rings. I find out Optics Planet shipped the rings by DHL...they won't answer my emails and they say give the tracking 5 days to work..What??? To make matters worse I order the scope from Sports Optics 11am 24/03/22 it arrives the 25th free shipping no tax ...(I'm on US military program) So here I freaking sit with a weapon sling rail scope but NO FREAKING RINGS AND I ORDERED THEM 3 DAYS BEFORE I ORDERED THE SCOPE...Don't trust me read all Optics Planet 1star reviews...more 1s than anything else..Bottom line thus guy sucks! BRYANT US MILITARY RETIRED

Ordered 17 NOV 2021, as of 3/12/22 still waiting, no updates from OP, no customer service, no way to contact OP without being on hold for 40 min. Sad, cause OP used to be decent, long ago. Total trash now! WILL NEVER ORDER FROM OP AGAIN

I placed a order for a barrel and reflex sight for my new pistol. I gave my PO Box as the shipping address. They responded saying they could not ship to a PO Box so I gave them my physical (home) address with the stipulation that they would have to ship via either UPS or FedEx because I don't have USPS at my home address. I received a confirmation email stating they would ship to my home and not use USPS. The next day I received a email stating my order was shipped via USPS. I called their customer service and was informed there was nothing they could do until it was returned to them, which could take weeks. Then they would either reship or refund my order. I felt like I shouldn't have to wait weeks for resolution and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told one would call me back within 48 hours. They have basically tied up over $500 of my money, which is a lot to me and probably just a drop in the bucket to them. It appears that their customer service policy is to make their customers pay for their shipping department's mistakes. I've been a loyal OP customer for years, but no more.

I live in Reno Nevada I have a concealed carry permit I was buying a non lethal gun and they canceled the order because they said risk management They didn't want to sell it to me at the sale price
