“They should be shut down. They tell you to return the item and follow instructions then refuse to issue refund. The worst company. No contact, no explanation. Paid all return shipping and taxes and duties. Complete robbery.”
“Other delivered boots in size 11. I have approx. 20 pairs in size 11. All of them are approx. 2 centimeters longer than the OTHER boots. No problem, that can happen. But to charge EUR 37,43 for the return shipping? In such a case that was well documented? Never ever again.”
“Sadly, Other have provided consistently the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
My most recent order from them was placed on the 1st December. By the 4th January there is still no sign of the item.
After sending three e-mails with no response (the last one requesting a refund, since the item has clearly never been dispatched), I eventually received an e-mail from Chris telling me that my order had been shipped and received.
Well, clearly not, Chris.
Other UK provided no dispatch notification, no tracking number and no proof of delivery.
Amusingly, Chris then sent me a fake "signed for" notice (without any address on it and signed by someone who doesn't exist).
At this point, the company are simply withholding customers money without fulfilling their obligation as a retailer.
This is, sadly, not the only poor experience I've had with this company. In the past, when I've actually received goods, they drag their heels for months on refunds.
The last t-shirt I ordered from them also took 5 weeks and 3 e-mails before they shipped it.
I perhaps should have learnt my lesson but, as many others have commented, we strive to give companies (especially those that claim to represent an "alternative" community) the benefit of the doubt.
I strongly recommend you avoid wasting your time and money with Other.”
“Thieves
Absolute Joke. Sent me the item. It didn't fit so I returned it and never received a refund. So now they have the item and my money. Common thieves. Avoid at all costs.”
“Before my first order I read their reviews and was hesitant since nearly all of them were negative but they sell really cool stuff I took my chances. Have been a customer for 2+ years and now I understand. Everything is fine until you need to return something. I asked to return a pair of leather pants which were hugely oversized and even paid for shipping them back. They received them, told me they would check they were in mint condition and refund me. A month and a half and several emails later all I got from them was an email saying they were "extremely busy". They took my money and the pants, which they will re-sell and make more profit from. Beware guys, all the negative reviews are true. If you decide to order, pray that you don't need to return anything. Extra points to Paypal. I opened a dispute and after making me wait for a month for a resolution, they tell me that, since I received the item (altough I sent them proof that they received it back) there's nothing they can do.”
“Honestly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I don't write bad reviews like this but it's unreal. I thought they were a cool British company, I was happy to support them. They were even very accomodating at the start of my order which I really appreciated. Then it came to arranging a return and a refund.
They generously arranged a free return for my products, but DHL never came to pick up my parcel. OTHERUK told me they would come soon, DHL confirmed a pickup was never arranged, and that no one was going to come - I ended up arranging the pickup myself and got confirmation from DHL that OTHERUK never arranged anyone to come and pickup the items.
Then it's taken over two weeks to get my refund, and I've just been told it will take another week. I don't even know if that means I'll get my refund because they need to inspect the products first? They told me they aren't a major firm like ASOS, but I've ordered from far smaller operations who still manage to arrange returns and refunds promptly.
I am days away from contacting my credit card company, because it's a large order and at the moment they're holding onto my money with no sign of returning it.”
“Made the pretty detrimental mistake of ordering from this business before checking reviews. One of the items I purchased was their Cropped Thrasher Tee; which, in the description, lists something it refers to as "flame aging techniques." I don't really know what this means. What I do know is that my white shirt arrived with what appears to be a very unappealing yellow pit stain. I *assume* that this is a byproduct of what they're referring to as this technique, but I don't know for sure, and customer service is making a pretty deliberate choice not not respond to any of my attempts to contact them. (They answered exactly 1 email when my attachments didn't follow first effort to reach them. Then, after that, NOTHING.)
So, I think to return to this kind of gross-looking shirt--however, shocker, they charge nearly $30 usd to return an item. Which means your isht out of luck if you paid anything on par with that for a product of theirs.
So. They sent me a pretty disgusting, pit-stain white shirt that I won't be able to get a full-refund on, and are more or less actively ignoring my efforts to reach them.
Garbage company, worse customer service. Imma be loud on their social media so people don't make the mistake I did. f' 'em.”
“Please don't buy from otheruk if you ever need to return for a refund. I have had to raise a PayPal claim after they confirmed they received my return more than 35 days ago. Customer service not responding to any emails either after having to raise a PayPal claim. Please be careful buying from this company if you think you'll need to return an item.”
“I ordered several pairs of jeans from their Archive sale. Love the designs, needed new jeans, and was hoping to get them at a good price. I literally got up at 5 AM to be awake when it started.
Be aware, they do state in the Archive Sale that there are no refunds/returns for these items.
One of the jeans I ordered was their Hendrix Denim. All that was available was a 28 or 32. I normally wear either a 28 or 30 depending on style and fit and decided to take the risk on their 28. If it was too skinny/tight it was worth the risk.
I get the jeans. Put them on. They are massive. HUGE. Significantly bigger than the other 30s I bought from them.
I check the tag. It says 28. I break out the measuring tape, and all the measurements are for a 32. I got sent a 32 tagged as a 28... I have never fit a 32 and would never have bought a 32. Even 30s I risk running large.
For a normally $200+ pair of jeans I expect much better quality control.
I reached out regarding this and if they could remedy it. You don't get to send a customer who ordered a refrigerator a tv and slap on a refrigerator tag and say it's what they paid for.
It's been a few days and I have heard nothing back. I will keep this updated with if/how this is resolved.”
