“Very happy with my Swytch. Rode nearly 500 mile on it now with no problems. Also when I don't need it I simply put my old wheel back on and it's a normal bike again. The fitting was relatively straight forward. With the cost of decent ebike around £1700, Swytch conversion kits are definitely worth the looking at.”

“Good news universal kit arrived 4.12.2020 in great shape. Bad news pre order 18th May order locked 17th June 2020 delays due to demand for bike parts, covid, ship delays ever gentle ship anchored off Felixstowe for 2 weeks port in chaos, 2 weeks delay at customs due to covid. Good news Installation took 40 minutes had file my forks thank goodness not carbon fibre, one locking nut on upside down however easy to install. Yes wires visible and bike heavier, (but not going to lift it). A great piece of kit. I would recommend the product. Revitalised a 1996 khd Montana crest bike. Rides well. Thanks swytch.”

“So much fun to roll up hills with my turbo-charged Brompton since it got Swytched! It’s like having a gentle push from behind. The kit was fairly easy to install but I did get a final inspection from a local bike mechanic to make sure. It took a long time to arrive to my American door (no surprise right now) however it was worth the wait. And after reading the instructions I now spell tire the English way as “tyre.””

“I have just fitted my swytch kit having received it last week. All I can say is it an excellent system and very easy to fit. The only mistake I initially made was with fitting the disk brake. The screws for the disk brake are in the hub already but you need to remove the plastic spacer that is being held on with the screws to ensure the disk lines up. If is wasn't for my mistake it would have only taken me 30 mins to fit it. I am managing to get around 50Km per charge but that is on the maximum power setting. As the battery only takes about 3 hours to charge its not an issue to worry about. I did take the optional throttle but have not fitted it yet and I don't think it is really needed as the cadence detector on the pedals allows the power to kick in quickly. Overall it will allow my miserable commutes in the rain to be more enjoyable and to overtake those horrible electric scooters that have been overtaking me in the past.”

“I met Swytch team via London cycle show 2017 by chance and I am impressed of the kit they developed. The idea of their kit is very good and simple. I pledged the brompton kit and received the kit in 2018. I did have a problem with the fitting and they have been very helpful to address it. I know their team is companding due to their success and I do recommend trying their kit out! You won't be disappointed!”

“LOVE MY SWYTCH! I am able to take my Brompton out everyday because I can now conquer all the hills with the pedal assist. I'm a middle aged not so fit woman just trying to use my bicycle more. Biking does not have to be painful anymore.”

“This kit as allowed me to get back on my bike again, I was a keen cyclist a number of years ago but got out of the habit now with the Swytch kit fitted its like having a partner helping me out. Still remember the first time I used the kit and was amazed at how much help I got.”

“We are delighted with our Swytch-powered Tandem. It makes all the difference on the hills. Even though we've fitted the Swytch motor to a heavy duty expedition tandem frame and with the weight of two people, we still get many miles of assistance. A second bonus was the thumb throttle ... an great boost for those tricky starts in heavy traffic.”

“The kit was quite simple to install. The only part of the installation that is a little time consuming is having to install the inline sensors and longer brake cables. The complete bicycle is much lighter than and complete bicycles that I've seen and the battery/controller is very easy to remove to avoid theft. The motor produces very little drag when coasting, which is a constant concern for hub motors, and is very powerful and silent. The motor activates with less than a half rotation of the crankset and the brake sensors work flawlessly. I would highly recommend the Swytch kit to anyone looking to convert their daily rider to electric.”

“I ordered two 50 mile kits for my bromptons, a 2014 and a 2006 models. The older brompton needed extra care when fitting, otherwise it was just a matter of following the instructions. And not forgetting the wonderful community at the Swytch Support Forum where one can find a lots of helpful suggestions and tips. Our swytch bromptons make us go out and explore wonderful places!!!”

“Pretty easy to install, the Swytch Kit was the best deal I could find. It was able to add an electric assist to my very heavy cargo bike that I use to haul kids, groceries, and run errands around town. I can't imagine biking the hills in Denver, CO without it!”

“Swytch Bike has changed my life. I fitted it within a couple of hours (ok, ok, I had the brake sensors fitted by my local bike shop) and was out that day. Since then, I’ve easily made back the cost of the kit from saved tube fares and had hours of fun out and about on my bike. Uphill is the new downhill... and my teeth are cold from all the smiling I’m doing as I whizz about. The battery recharges quickly, the kit has weathered fine on my bike and the support team have been awesome with any small issues that are inevitable with the first waves of a product like this. Thank you, Swytch Bike, for saving me money, giving me so much fun and unlocking parts of London (and beyond) I previously steered clear of!”

“Hi Lenny, The email came up with the same format as an answer to a request for support, with a list of links and solutions to problems. No problem...here is our review for the Swytch super backer status! Swytch 700c 50 mile kit We have had our Marin San Rafael hybrid bikes for about six years at our house in France. However, due to the pretty difficult hills around there, we had hardly used them. The conversion kit appeared to provide a really good solution, to using existing good bikes, with little wear and tear, without going down the ‘another new bike’ scenario! We had read a few reviews and seen some information on the net regarding the kits...but in the end we took a chance when we bought the two conversion kits. However, we have not been disappointed in any way at all! Great things 1. The kits arrived post free to our house in France. 2. Customer service re. a change of delivery address was good. 3. We took our time fitting the kits, and in all it took about 1.5 hours for both bikes. I had seen some reviews that suggested using sugru as an adhesive for the sensor, and had bought some in anticipation. That was a good thing, as it was needed for our conversion. The adhesive has been excellent. Adapting the sensor was easy. The whole conversion was without problems. 4. The power is easily adjusted, and in conjunction with gear changes, optimises the power available. 5. When we did have a minor problem, we had good support, and the issue was resolved very quickly. 6. We have cycled quite a bit since converting our bikes, and the power is delivered efficiently when you need it. This has included category 4 climbs. 7. The bikes don’t look like they are running on electric power! 8. The overall weight of the bike is considerably less than a pure electric bike. 9. Easy to fit. 10. Magic carpet experience. We would recommend it to anyone who wants Ann exsisting bike electrified 😀 Peter Norton And Julie Roberts”
