I sold a Burberry bag with Vestiaire on 09/05/2022 (22297195 Cloth tote - Burberry £160.00), shipping was a nightmare, I had to drive to several drop off shops as some could not accept parcels due to lack of receipts, usually I ship straight away, in this case it took me 3 days and countless miles until finally the shop could take it, I had already contacted VC via chat (a painful experience with a lot of auto replies and long waiting time) to possibly extend the sending time. Due to having had a bad experience with their shipping (last time it was FedEx and a parcel was stuck forever, I ended up contacting FedEx myself as the customer service was unwilling to help, FedEx also didn't pick the parcel up at work as requested but showed up at the home address, so I had to find a parcel shop, unbelievable) and hearing from people how their items disappeared with Evri or empty parcels were received, I had documented everything, the packaging, the size of the parcel, etc. So finally on the 12th of May I managed to send my parcel, it updated on the site, there is a link to tracking, however when I checked, the parcel appears as "accepted" and then nothing, apparently still at the parcel shop. I rang them and they said everything was picked up. I contacted customer service at Vestiaire Collective ASAP, I received auto replies and a request to send my ID via eMail. I declined and told them that I will happily verify myself, but in an unencrypted eMail it is too risky (I work in IT) so I suggested I could upload my ID on their site, they demanded eMail, I explained that an email will travel through several servers, there are a lot of cases of identity theft, I can send it as an encrypted file and send them the password in another eMail, for security reasons, however having spoken with Evri, they do not require an ID to open an investigation, they however require Vesitiaire Collective to get in touch with them, since they have issued the label and count as the sender. So far Vestiaire Collective has not done so, they keep on sending me the same copy and paste eMails, it seems to be impossible to speak to a human. All I know is that I sold a bag for £160.00, sent it and there is no trace of it apart from the confirmation that it was accepted and Vestiaire Collective doesn't seem to be interested, they seem to be more interested in getting me to send my ID in a very insecure way, putting me potentially at risk for identity theft, which could damage my career. I am considering a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office regarding a violation of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

I sold several items, however they have switched to a very cheap delivery service Evri/Hermes and 2 parcels got lost within the space of weeks. I provided the documentation order 17759206 (a dress) was sold on the 29th of April and sent to Vestiaire for verification the same day, the tracking shows it as having accepted by Evri, then the tracking stops, for weeks no movement. I have contacted Vestiaire several times, with the documentation, still nothing done! The message reads "We've received your parcel at the ParcelShop and will be collecting it shortly" - it is now almost a month later! I have been to the drop off shop several times to check, I was told that all items were collected by the Evri driver! Order 16589806 a pair of Yves Saint Laurent shoes sold on the 11th of May with direct shipping and sent the same day, since Friday the 13th the same message appears: "We're sorry, your parcel has been delayed. We'll update tracking as soon as your parcel is out for delivery" - the parcel has reached the delivery depot, but ever since there is NO MOVEMENT. I have no idea where my items are, I have tried to contact Evri and was told that Vestiaire needs to contact them, I have contacted Vestiaire countless times, with a description of the parcels, the address of the drop off shop, evidence that I have dropped it off (a bit ridiculous since it shows in my account as sent, as the scan has registered) I get asked the same thing over and over, then I get told that my request is closed. I contacted Vestiaire 2 days ago, was told they would get back to me within 24 hours, 2 days later, they have not gotten back to me. They expect you to send a copy of your ID via eMail, not encrypted, so it can be intercepted and people can commit ID fraud, there seem to be no people replying only automated answers. I am happy to upload my ID securely on the site, but given that so far they seem to have lost it, I have no idea who is in possession of sensitive information that can lead to identity fraud. I am considering of taking legal action, as I sent my items in good faith with the delivery company Vestiaire forced on me (which btw has a terrible reputation), the parcels all disappeared. I can't even use a more reliable service as I have to use the label Vestiaire provides!

Super bad customer service. Super bad picture cropping as you can see from photo. They do not respond to fix it. Also this site take on sale items what are bought in bulk from AliExpress ( I see them there and they was identical. One thing is to sell high quality items / vintage or new. Other is : support Chinese business / economy with support sellers who buy bulks from there. This site is nothing what it was before corona.

The two pairs of shoes I ordered last year worked out great. However, of the 4 pairs I ordered recently, I have zero pairs of shoes, and cannot even get a refund on the pair of shoes that their team inspected and immediately fell apart during first wear. I lost at least $50 in authentication fees since 2 pairs failed authentication, and the 1 pair *SHOULD HAVE* failed authentication. I have also lost $55 on the actual cost of the shoes that broke immediately during first wear. There is some mystery delay with the 4th pair of shoes, and no projected date when I will get them. And Vestaire Customer Service is refusing to offer me a refund on the broken pair, or even a 15% discount for my next order to make up for all this. That's probably a good thing, because I never want to order from them again. There are plenty of competitors, and you can bet they will be gaining market share with Vestaire's customer service.

They were once okay, but are now absolute sh*t! I sold a Chanel bag on 26 April and they refused it on 28 April - 2 days from sale - saying it didn’t fit the description. My buyer protested because he wasn’t given the option to negotiate, and they just returned it to me. I relisted it with an accurate description of the flaws they noted, again sold it to the same buyer on 06 May and today on 11 May they received it, refused again, and within 2 hours it’s already on the way back to me. My buyer has no idea what’s happening, the chat bots are useless, and to stop me telling the truth, they’ve banned me from chat. Just stay away from these thieves - unless you want to buy cheap fakes from Asia, leave on all the labels, and sell at 500% profit because that’s what sells best. Fake items only. Recently I bought a Cartier Box for my vintage watch. It came to me authenticated by Vestiaire, with a Made in Thailand sticker still attached.

Ridiculous, sold an item, ordered FedEx (the label they provided) I distinctively put my WORK ADDRESS in as I knew I would be in work and asked for pickup there, what happens, my daughter rings and says FedEx showed up and shrugged the shoulders (I also got no confirmation email) and said "book again" - so I drove to the next FedEx shop and handed it over, they first didn't want to accept it and claimed paperwork missing, I assured I had printed everything out and even showed them the eMail on my mobile. They asked for my mobile in case the driver wouldn't take it... Apparently driver took it, now for days there is an undisclosed delay, and I informed VC and I keep on getting the same formulated replies, I have been in touch with FedEx, they don't need my ID... Vestiaire claims they opened a claim, then come back with "We will open a claim" and ask the same thing over and over... It seems to be bots, or AI with out the i

Totally ridiculous, sold an item, shipped the same day, noticed the item is not moving and now for weeks as shown as at the drop off shop (Hermes/Evri) went several times to the parcel shop, they told me it has been sent they have no idea why it doesn't show up and maybe the driver didn't scan it or they haven't scanned it at the sorting place. I informed them after it was still the same after a few days, they told me not to worry and will monitor and after the 7th they will start to investigate. I had given them proof of postage, the parcel shop where I dropped it off, they sent me a message on the 7th that if I don't reply to them they will close the issue!!!!! They told me that they would investigate on the 7th! I gave them the same info again, they asked for all of it plus my ID again! I offered to upload my ID securely on their website but said I will not send it in an email where it can be intercepted, apart from that, they are the issuer of the label and the recipient (item was sent to them) it is only a little dress, not too expensive but I sold it with them and people who can't even read that I gave them the drop off shop, proof of postage etc before, I am not trusting them with my ID. I managed to finally contact Hermes/Evri as the parcel shop gave me a phone number, they claim since Hermes issued the label they do not need my address. I hate it, they use the cheapest sending service, one that is known to lose items left right and center, their customer service is a joke, you keep on giving them the info, they just send copy and paste messages, I am not sending a copy of an ID via email, first of all it can easily be intercepted and 2nd the person at the other end might be some call center person who sells the info on and I could be in a world of trouble. I told them REPEATEDLY I would happily upload my info on their website, where it is secure, but not via eMail. This is not customer service, this is a joke with bots!

My experience has not been positive. I sold shoes that took over a month to get to buyer then buyer contested sale due to package condition( it was lost for a month) I do not trust or plan on using them ever again. The real real is much more professional.

I have had a very good experience when I first joined in 2014, I bought a lot of beautiful vintage stuff and sold a lot of my stuff when customer service was still brilliant right until August 2021, last time I had proper communication with a good rep based in France was in December 2021 after I insisted that someone contacts me from head office in France. This lady Laura was so good, she helped me retrieve and re-purchase a lost expensive item. Sadly, since January the after sale customer service has deteriorated badly. One can no longer communicate with a proper rep by phone anymore, it all has to go via bot chat and useless Filipinos with poor command of the English language from a call centre (strictly by live chat). They never respond on time, never communicate back, it takes several emails and chat contacts to get them moving. It is a frustrating process. Their quality control staff have become so slow and lazy that they now write off an almost perfect item over for example a tiny invisible minuscule scratch ay the bottom of a right shoe heel, which is not seen with the naked eye, not giving the buyer the option anymore to accept or reject or the seller to have it re-listed on their site as before. Proof is that I always manage to sell the same rejected item by direct shipping to a buyer, without any issues or complaints. If the item is well vetted and approved by quality control then it takes ages for it to be paid. VC should take note of my comments, take every word on board for their own good. Now that covid restrictions have been lifted I think it’s about time they get rid of their failed live chat system, restore the phone call customer service system with proper reps from EU, France or UK to communicate directly by phone with English speaking clients, get rid off the current useless Filipino call commercial impersonal centre system. My message should be seriously relayed to head office. VC should cease using Hermes or Evri courier who so far have lost three of items in 3 months! This is unacceptable. They should start using DHL or UPS as more reliable courriers. It’s well worth it. Hermes lost a third item of mine which was never recovered and I never got reimbursed for it. I have been trying to reach out for VC live chat and useless emails to no avail. This should be seriously addressed. I am commenting here as a good customer of VC

This used to be brilliant website right until last August 2021. They now refer all your important queries and all essential problems to a Filipino call centre who can barely speak English and are useless. One has to message them 20 times before getting a proper response along some numerous useless futile time wasting email correspondence communicated via clueless Filipinos. Despite several demands, they never or hardly respond. They now use a cheap courrier Hermes which have lost me three sold expensive items, it took them ages to reimburse me. There is still one outstanding item sold two months ago, this was lost by the cheap courrier company Hermes to no avail. No response. No reaction from their useless Filipino team until to date despite requesting a French or proper EU English speaking team based in Europe to communicate directly with me on my mobile (considering that Filipinos are miles away, are useless and clueless). Their quality control used to be good in the past, they have now recruited a lazy team who seem to reject almost everything over the minutest detail and accepted items are no longer promptly paid as has been the case in the past. They need to wake up, revamp their system, get rid off their Filipino team and hire EU members. Covid restrictions have now been lifted, hence no more excuses, . About time the system is revamped and restored to what it used to be. So sad because it used to be such a good company to deal with in the pastb

Terrible customer service. I bought an item that was lost being sent to their office for authentication. It's now lost over 2 months ago and they refuse to refund me . They say it's now an investigation with the shipper who I don't even know is . They send you pointless emails trying to reassure you , but never follow up . I am now too nervous to buy anything else off Vestaire. Very poor customer care . Doesn't even warrant this star .
