“Ordered top from shop 8/7/26 paid for it was told would be delivered 3/5 working days 12 days later no top no email and trying to get answers difficult”
“I am sorry but my experience has been a nightmare, my parcel has still not arrived, I have chatted to complaints who just keep telling me they have to wait 72 hrs response from Evri?? I have waited 10 days , my tracking history is totally unacceptable, parcel too large to deliver, a pair of shorts and socks?? No help from white stuff, I have been a valued customer but it has deteriorated.”
“Terrible delivery, online live chat with white stuff just useless, they don’t seem to know what they are doing , lots of promises to sort out problems but they still don’t sort it out, never again”
“The White Stuff shop in Saffron Walden is quite new to our town. Recently I have been in twice, and had exceptional service from a young lady called Jemima. Nothing was too much trouble, she was very helpful in finding stock from out the back, recommending that I try what she was showing me (she was right in what she said!), and was a joy to deal with. She has exactly the right personality to deal with customers. Today I had to return an item, and, being a technophobe, patiently explained how I didn’t even have to produce a card for the transaction to happen. White Stuff is lucky to have her, and I shall definitely hope to be served by her again.”
“Great choice of clothes, and for all ages !
Sharon and Ross, Tunbridge Wells branch, are super helpful, not pushy, and good at finding what might be suitable. A great experience these days ! I will be back”
“We have two incredibly rude shop assistants in your Tunbridge Wells Branch when my 85 year old Mum tried return an item. There was an issue with the till and even though we explained we had another appointment they kept us waiting for 40 mins without apologising once and informing us we were unable to leave the shop. When I asked why there was still a deal the older assistant was very rude and the manager ignored me. We were not offered any form of compensation and had to cancel two hair cuts.”
“Recently bought and then returned a dressing gown. Found 2 holes in the material which is par for the course with white stuff cotton- not good quality. Tops often develop holes, very disappointing because the styles and patterns are lovely.”
“It is the third time I purchase from White Stuff. The first time was in the shop in Exeter, UK. All went well. Beautiful designs and great shopping experience. After, I ordered from Portugal to be delivered at my address. And now a second time. The refund both times for the items that didn't suit me got "lost" (the fact that you pay £18 for the return which is not communicated explicitly when buying the clothes is minor compared to the price of the clothes themselves - but yes, could be improved too). I had to email asking about the money, while holding proof of the box being correctly returned and being already half-way back to the destination. Instead of the customer support (Laura Lopez, Lauren Lee) researching into the case based on my carefully drafted email mentioning the number of the order and details of the return, the enquiry keeps going just delaying the matter instead of them doing the research and making sure that the refund takes place. I don't feel I can trust White Stuff with deliveries anymore even though I really like their clothes - even if overpriced given their average material quality (some jumpers and dresses cost about £100 and are "prone to pilling" according to the label). I only order what I think will look nice but in real life looking and trying out clothes is different - which is normal and expectable. But if you can't be sure that you will be able to return and get a refund after all the care in handling the clothes, packaging them and sending, then ordering online becomes very risky. It is a shame.”
“We ordered a lovely blanket for our new granddaughter. When it arrived it was nicely wrapped inside the box we bought as an extra inside a bigger box with white stuff bespoke pictures inside. All very well presented.
Until on the day we met our granddaughter in hospital and gave the presentation box to our daughter to open. She carefully unwrapped it to find the blanket rolled up with a label round it.
I was not impressed in fact disappointed. I expected more. It would have been better presented if the blanket was nicely folded, wrapped in paper inside the presentation box, rather than rolled up.
For me something that was meant to be special was cheapened by the way the blanket was presented. Looked like I could have picked it up in a supermarket.
Won’t buy from here again. There was no point in paying the extra for a presentation box, couldn’t see the point, I could have folded the blanket nicely and wrapped it myself.
Disappointing!!”
“I wasn’t able to try on the clothes I wished to buy as the store does not have dog-free changing rooms and I am allergic to some dog hair. When I asked, the shop assistant was very abrupt and said you are a dog/friendly company. I put the clothes back on the rail. It seems that your ‘pets welcome’ policy is actually a ‘pets more welcome than people’ policy.”
“Staff are friendly and clothes and accessories are quite appealing, but the fact that dogs are allowed into changing rooms is ridiculous. Many people have allergies to dogs, and dog hairs in changing areas and on clothes pose a risk.
Why do people need or want to take their dogs clothes shopping? I’m sure the dogs aren’t enjoying it. The term ‘dog- friendly’ should be ‘’dog-owner friendly’.”
“Today I was asked for personal info at your chichester branch. In no circumstances will I ever give out my personal info to buy something.
I know it's for marketing and not just for an e receipt.
Please stop treating your customers like fools.
I wont be returning to any store soon unless you change this intrusive practice and am also reporting you to the The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Many thanks

“Last week I bought 3 pairs of socks from White Stuff in Portsmouth outlet mall and one has a big hole in it! Unfortunately I lost the bill and also we don't have a store in Reading! Not good quality don't pay high prices! Ignore this store!”
“Bought a new pair of boots off White Stuff official website as a birthday gift for my partner. She opened them at her party in front of a packed room only for them to be excessively worn and dirty. The heals were consistent with 2 years of wear, and still had dirt on them. Absolutely embarrassed!! All her friends and family watched on as she sat there holding dirty old boots not knowing if it was a joke. I am embarrassed and wish I was exaggerating on the condition. These are not ex display, these look like they were owned by Ryan Giggs on his testimonial 10 years ago. Even the box was old and crumbled. Revisited webpage and still advertising as new boots and no mention of them being second hand or memorabilia. Very upset! Won't be buying again and would advise others to consider the same, especially for gifts...”
“Went to my local store in Bromley and purchased a dress .Staff were very friendly in there
The dress I brought was the Kara eco Vero jersey dress in grey/ multi .I am between a size 10 and 12 so brought a 10 and it had plenty of room to allow for when my stomach swells .It's very comfortable and I love the side pockets .”
