“As a Research Analyst with a focus on Human Resources, I recently had the opportunity to engage with AIHR for a course that was integral to my ongoing professional development. My overall experience with AIHR has been exceptionally positive, and I am pleased to share my thoughts on various aspects of the platform and course content. Interface Usability: One of the highlights of my experience with AIHR was the user-friendly interface. Navigating through the course materials, accessing resources, and submitting assignments was straightforward. The intuitive design significantly enhanced my learning experience, making it easy to stay organized and focused on the content. “The AIHR Certificate Programme - Compensation & Benefits - is fantastic! It gives you a great overview of the entire scope of aspects related to this area of HR. The course is divideded into modules with 2-5 lessons, each between 12 and 20 minutes in length. A strong recommendation would be to take notes as you would in any regular university seminar or lecture, structuring your learning items and personal notes. Each module introduces a new teacher with has advantages and disadvantages. The advantage lies in the fact that you will most likely come across a few teacher's whose teaching style (pacing, structure, presentation skills, command of the audience, i.e. teaching experience as well as tone of voice etc.) you will truly enjoy. The disadvantage is that the modules though connected by theme seem somewhat disjointed as they seem to have been designed by the teacher / presenter him- or herself, i.e. having 8 teachers resuts in an overall course plan or curriculum that was designed by 8 different people. A teaching solution to this aspect would be to have the material for each module align in its structure creating one consistent style and overall course plan. As an improvement to the course itself I would suggest more questions in each quiz, e.g. 10 questions, which each quiz having to be passed to unlock the next learning item OR to include the quizzes into the overall grading at the end. This last aspect could also see AIHR introduce a university grading scale from A-F or 0-100%, which this item fueling learner engagement, motivation as well as retention of the material as study efforts might see a rise. Optionally the grade could be included (on a second page) of the certificate earned within a course. Finally, I would like to thank the AIHR team as well as my employer for the opportunity to participate in this course. I enjoyed the experience a lot and will return for more!
