“I ride pillion on a motorcycle and have a very active German Shepherd puppy. I have tried lots of boots for both activities,but haven't managed to find anything suitable since my last boots wore out. I have a fused toe, and so many boots are too hard. I googled waterproof motorcycle boots and Bareback was among the results. I ordered the Kentucky Storm boot and after an aborted try, and very good returns process, I have some boots that are suitable for both activities. The boots are a little large, but after placing a thin leather insole below the one supplied I have a very comfortable pair of boots. I would highly recommend trying this company for footwear even if you are not a horserider.”

“I bought the Kentucky jodphur boots. They are tight to get on but extremely comfortable when on. I did have to send the 1st pair back and buy a larger size as they are on the small side. Lovely boots”

“Have been looking for new boots for some time. Discovered Bareback Footwear through an online search and called in as happened to be nearby. Chloe could not have been more helpful and patient advising which boots would best suit my needs and preferences. She is so knowledgeable. There is a huge choice. I tried on lots of boots and in the end had five pairs to choose from. I came away with two pairs, both waterproof and very comfortable. There are great quality inner soles to add or change if desired. My husband also bought a pair. I could have easily ordered online but was delighted to have been able to spend time in the little shop that stocked every line. A complete game changer for me was to also buy a bootjack. It makes such an easy job of helping save my arthritic hands get boots and shoes off - amazing piece of equipment. The bamboo socks are lovely too. Now… what to buy next!”

“Have purchased 3 or 4 pairs of different boots over the years and all were the comfiest I’ve ever had. Pop them on and go for a 5 mile dog walk and no blisters or sore feet. Pricey, but you get what you pay for and they last years.”

“The bits I received today are the second pair of bareback boots that I have bought. I was so delighted with the first ones that I couldn’t wait to get another pair in a different style. The quality is amazing and they are very comfortable and stylish. I ordered a size too small and used the return service to have a size larger delivered. This was so quick and trouble free that I was delighted. They even arrived a day earlier than the post office told me they would! That really is good service looking forward to buying more and certainly looking forward to wearing the ones I’ve got.”
