I am following the Decorating with Flowers course hosted by Simon Lycett. He is an excellent teacher and all that he has shown us to do has been well explained.

At last evidence based, scientific information about food which is clearly presented and accessible to all. Well done Tim Spector & Co. This is excellent; let's it's hope it isn't too late!

I like the setting it taking place in a very British Theatrical feel, the rich surroundings , the quality of the pressentation filming so the sound of the voices are very colorful and pleasing, the characters are as diverses as the subjects are, the teaching is of high performances very engaging as much interesting. BBC Maestro give great masters pieces to learn from, I love it! thank you! Monique A

I've been writing since 2006 starting at university as a mature-aged student. Currently, I'm writing a crime novel reaching over 40,000 words and while I don't believe in writer's block I needed some inspiration to keep going. Harlan Coben's master class (which I'm only half way through) is providing the incentive I need to finish the manuscript. It's so reaffirming when a high-profile writer admits, what we all think at times - I suck at this!

As a working class mum from the East Midlands, it has been hard to find a way to learn about the creative industries that I hope to one day be a part of. There is a lot of information out there but not a lot of quality. The amount of masters in so many fields featured on this site is phenomenal. As a filmmaker in training, there are lots of courses available for me, not only about filmmaking, but also about script-writing and other aspects of the process. I signed up to learn the technical expertise I lack and I realise that what I am actually gaining more than anything is confidence and an awareness that even somebody like me can make it.

The classes are longer than Masterclass which is a big advantage for the money. As long as they get the best level rather than second best in any field, with the longer running time it can be superior.

BBC Maestro offers not only well-structured lessons on a variety of topics, but also an entertaining approach to education. It caters to different levels of learning - you can simply listen to something new or delve deeper into the material by following up on notes.

I've just completed Harlan Coben's "Writing Thrillers" and LOVED it! I'd had a successful career with Harlequin writing romantic suspense in the late 80s, then went on to do other things. In 2017, I started writing screenplays, mostly thrillers & some adaptations. After winning a few contests, getting some A-list interest, I was exhausted. Harlan not only rekindled my joy in writing, he reinforced techniques I'd undervalued. AND he inspired me to novelize my current script. I'll be querying his agent in a couple days. So, THANK YOU, HARLAN! Will send you a signed copy of the book one day, and invite you to the Emmys when the mini-series is nominated. You're the best!

I have been baking for years but only recently began baking bread, starting in a wilderness location on an open campfire using a Dutch oven. The results were good, and it inspired me to take this course. I find the presentation easy to follow, and entertaining to watch, and so far my products have been very good. In fact, I would say that the pizza dough is the best I have ever had - period. Today is Valentines Day, I am planning on cooking a small rib roast over an open fire, served with gnochi and pesto with a spinach salad, and a nice wine. The bread will be the Focaccia bread, served with olive oil and basalmic vinegar. It's going to be great!

Love the variety of courses. Price is great especially when discounted. You learn at your own pace and the videos aren't too long. The bonus is getting the extra transcripts or notes from the person delivering the course.

The writing series have provided some wonderful inspiration. I play the lessons constantly in the background as I work on my own novel. The words of accomplished novelists Lee Child and Harlem Coben stimulate my thoughts and help me to keep focused. Something few other services have done. That's a big difference maker!

I am watching Oliver Burkeman on time management. He has a completely different approach than other writers/thinkers and he is spot on. He critiques other systems in a totally convincing ways and offer clear ideas of how to approach the subject - and indeed life as a whole - practically as well as philosophically. I would recommend (and am doing) to everyone.
