I am enjoying the class. It is great information and outstanding production value. The class with Harlen Cobin is pack full of his experience and presented in a laid back and informative manner. I was, however, disappointed in the number of classes available at this time. I was tempted to ask for a refund but I'm enjoying this class too much. I am looking forward to BBC adding more classes.

Outstanding catalog of content! I would give it one more star if there were Airplay support.

The course with Mark Ronson is perfect, but I would love to see the Videos native with hires Audio on AppleTV.

Good app with a good number of courses I like Would suggest two changes: - currently there is not a search function. Would suggest inputting this - gathering an even wider array of courses would be good. For instance painting and philosophy and more

I welcome the opportunity to listen to an excellent poet, and try to improve my own practice.

I bought a course from the platform that I found interesting. It indeed was very useful and it was worth it. But there are a couple of things that would make BBC Maestro an even better experience: -Consider including subtitles from other languages, at least those that are more spoken like Spanish and French. My English is good enough for the course, but I had to doble check the meaning of some words from time to time. Having subtitles in other languages available would make the platform more accessible to other regions. -The price might be a bit high. I was lucky enough to buy the course during the new years offer, and the deal was good, so I paid a reasonable prize. But the general pricing without any offers applied is a bit expensive in my opinion. These are my suggestions. Thank you.

The novel writing course with Harlan Coben exceeded my expectations. I've been working on my novel for a few months, and Harlan's presentation has undoubtedly elevated not only the technical aspects but I understand so much more about my, and my character's, motivations. I've been a broadcast journalist for 30 years and Harlan Coben is a natural and gifted presenter of information who's not afraid to throw out conventions. Highly recommended

To have the opportunity to listen and watch an actor of Brian Cox's stature is FANTASTIC and through BBC Maestro - you can. This particular course is comprehensive, instructive, informative and above all VERY watchable. BBC Maestro courses cover a range of subject matters and is a truly wonderful way of getting expert guidance.

I love it, the courses are great with excellent talent but I can not watch it on my phone or tablet … can’t stream it to tv without great difficulty. Would be great to view it via google chrome or similar as it’s frustrating watching on the small screen

"To be honest, I was expecting more from the course. The feeling I was left with was that it was more of a pleasant conversation than a true input of knowledge, which is what I was expecting. Of course, tips, examples, and suggestions are important, but they do not reach the depth I was expecting. I recommend it for the rigor and quality of the production and the unquestionable value of the author."

The access to courses is not good. The interface keeps taking you into NOT a robot screen and then a screen of redundant options instead of your purchased courses. Very frustrating. I understand the seller needs to protect its assests but this access pathway appears to be over the top.

Hi Richard, I’m so sorry to hear that the website isn’t working well for you. Would you be able to give us some more information? What device and browser are you using? What are you clicking on to find your course? Where is it going wrong / unexpected? In the future we are going to be making some changes to make it easier to find the course you’ve bought (if you didn’t opt for a subscription). I’d love your views on how you would expect this to work? Many thanks, Lily

I have only subscribed to one BBC Maestro course - Tim Rice's course on writing for musicals. I subscribed to it because I am currently trying to write the libretto of a musical. I have enjoyed Tim Rice's course so far and have learned interesting facts about his career and experiences. He appears to be truthful and quite humble about his abilities, which has given me confidence. I will probably have more comments once I've finished the course.

I'm currently working on my second Maestro course. I've been very impressed by the calibre of teachers (Alan Moore, Lee Child) and by both their delivery and the quality of their material. Someone, I presume the teacher (but perhaps not only the teacher), has put a lot of time and effort into developing the courses. There is a range of other interesting courses too, with teachers with impressive credentials.

The content and lessons are great, I am really enjoying the Lee Child's lessons What I am NOT enjoying is the constant changing of the camera where he is talking to someone off to the side and he is being filmed looking at someone we can't see. What a stupid concept! I can understand why you would want to make it more interesting but constantly changing the camera angle is more annoying to the viewer than anything and as Masterclass does the same stupid thing it's just ripping off of the look of Masterclass which the BBC should be doing better not trying to duplicate.

The presenters I have watched are amiable, down-to-Earth, and full of really practical advice. Their accumulated wisdom is vast and well worth the price of admission.
