“Unfortunately I'm very disappointed, the slippers are not as I expected. -Right boot seems to be defective/sole misaligned, leading to the seam being under my foot, which is a sensory nightmare and very uncomfortable. - Zip's are really rattly making noise every step I take. - Faux fur inside boot, more like sweaty polar fleece instead of the faux fur on the outside. It wasn't clear on the website that the inner material is different. If I had known it was a different material on the inside, I wouldn't have purchased. I've been wearing them for a few days and I have to say I'm unfortunately very disappointed. I think I have just wasted £40 as I don't want to wear them, I've been trying to in order to avoid wasting money, but they're a sensory nightmare.”

“Love these slippers I’m. Size 4/5 sent for size 4 u sent an 8 but il just wear them but if you have 5 in please notify me thanks but slippers are great”

“I ordered 3 pairs of Carmen slippers in various sizes .Disappointed that all three of us could not get our feet in the Carmen boot slipper because they come up so small . Without a side opening these sippers are hopeless. Cost me more than £6 to return them .”

“Unfortunately the slipper opening is too small and tight and I am unable to get my foot in. I will have to try and cut the material somehow if I’m going to wear them. I threw the box away so I’m unable to return! A great deal but unwearable.”

“These are lined with suede inside, both the soles and the upper part underneath the tweed. This makes them totally unbreathable and they make my socks really damp with sweat so I end up having cold damp feet - I’ve never had this problem in any other shoes or slippers! I’ve now put woolly inserts from my previous Bedroom Athletics soft soles wool lined tweed pair (which have totally fallen apart after 13 months, which is why I wanted to give these hard soles ones a go) so it makes the problem less severe. Disappointed as I really wasn’t expecting having to take them off regularly to dry my feet or change my socks…”

“I ordered this product as a gift and the box has arrived all ripped and squashed, not to mention the slippers smell like they’ve been stored in a damp smelly basement for a very long time. Very unimpressed with this and now will have to source a new gift from somewhere else.”

“Slipper boots advertised as uk9/43 is actually uk8/42. The boots shed lots of fluff everywhere around the house so with mine being black and carpets being light I can’t stop vacuuming. I would not recommend it.”

“Received the wrong size slippers. Was told they couldn?t send the correct size because of a courier change. Money was refunded (but I had paid customs also) and now I have slippers I can?t do anything with. Not ideal”

“Ive had my boots 2 weeks and the stiching has come undone on my left foot. Not impressed with these at all. I never opened them till xmas day as i bought myself and my husband a pair for xmas. I would like to send them back as they werent cheap !”

“Would have given one star but had positive experiences in the past. My gift never arrived & I was advised to tell my sister to ask all the neighbours & all the nearby bins! Not what you want when sending a present. Unfortunately I won?t be using again”

“Bought these in size M UK 5/6 as a Christmas present for my girlfriend who is a size 6 and they are too small. The product sizing appears to be inaccurate. However the slippers are top quality, stylish and well made which only added to our disappointment. Now left with no alternative other than to return incurring additional P&P. Question is do we opt to exchange only for it to happen again !?!”
