“Excellent customer service. Asked a question at 8PM and Kevin answered it thirty minutes later. I have only taken two of their lessons. One, on CVAs, was excellent, except for the explanation on cerebral arterial supply which, in an attempt to sidestep the Circle of Willis, gave what I thought was a confusingly incomplete explanation - I'd say just take the extra step to show how the vertebral a. and internal carotid a. communicate in the Circle of Willis and it would make more sense than to pretend that they remain separate after the initial R. brachiocephalic/L. subclavian branching off the aortic arch. This is a minor issue; the actual EMS treatment parts are very good and helped me be a better provider. The other, on soft-tissue trauma, was good, although the information given on using wet dressings for burns is not universally-accepted. While there is controversy over dry-vs.-wet dressings, especially for minor vs. major burns, the standard reference in the field (AOOS 11th edition) says to use dry dressings only. This variance makes me somewhat concerned about whether other information is outdated. While this is still a minor issue, it is more significant in that I have seen *practice* NREMT questions that list "dry dressing" as the only correct answer for a burn.”

“I has my first instructor lead class last night. The class was from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. It is recommended that you log in 30 minutes early. I could not log in until 5:50 PM. It then showed waiting on host. I sat there until 7:45 waiting for the host to open up the class. I took off work to take this class. I'm really disappointed. Unless something changes I will not be recommending CareerCert.”
