“Having purchased a watch I loved online, I paid to have the links removed and after wearing found the clasp had a rough edge that was irritating my skin. I reluctantly returned it and assumed it would be repleced but this was not the case. Instead I was advised the returns team couldn't find a problem. So I drew a picture of the clasp area that was rough and irritating where it sat against the skin, again they claimed not to find the issue. I asked for a replacement and they refused. So instead I asked for and am receiving a refund. I have no idea why they would not replace the watch. It's a shame.”

“Overall, I am delighted with my watch, it is easy to set up, the watch face is large and the numbers and arms are clear. My only gripe is that the date and time window in tiny. If this could be larger, this watch would be perfect.”

“Delivered quickly and watch exactly as described. Bracelet was sized precisely as requested. Watch arrived partially charged so was able to wear it straightaway. A good clear dial which is what I needed and light to wear as it's titanium. Keeps time to the second. This is my second Citizen watch. The first is now 10 years old and as good as the day I bought it. I think this one will last longer than I shall !!”

“Once I decided to buy this watch I decided to buy direct from Citizen rather than order through a traditional jewellers. This was partly for speed as I don’t live close to a major town but also signing up to the newsletter gives 10% off! With free delivery I thought it was a good deal and delivery was fast - ordered Wednesday afternoon and arrived by courier on Friday - can’t say fairer than that!”

“Great watch, very accurate and comfortable. The titanium bracelet is easy to remove with the correct tool, if you feel the need to try a NATO or Zulu strap. The correct tool is inexpensive and available from sellers of NATO and Zulu straps. The luminous markings remain readable for at least six hours.”

“I don't usually write reviews but I just had to get this out. Over the past 25 years I've owned a Citizen ecodrive diver 300 and it's rarely been removed from my wrist. It looks like it's been through the wars with scratches, scuffs and all sorts of matter worn into it during its life. It's still going strong, however I felt it appropriate to change it for something less weathered that can be worn at work (client mneetings) as well as, well, for the rest of my life. I was set on a field watch; simple, legible, accurate, tough, low/zero maintenance. I spent the last eight months concidering numerous watch brands. Premium Rolex, Tudor, IWC in excess of £7,000. Mid range Hamilton's and Marathon's and even lower-end Seiko's and Casio's. All were given considerable thought and many have been close to completing in many shopping baskets. No other watch spec came close to the Promaster Tough! As soon as it arrived a month ago, I set it to the exact second of the GMT clock. At the time of writing this review it is +/- 0 seconds which is astounding! Well done Citizen. The way it sits on my average 7" wrist is even more perfect than my beloved Citizen Diver BN0000-04H. it's understated and elegant whilst looking like it can be thrown out of a helicopter into jungle warfare. I'm 40yo now and give n the longevity and service my previous Citizen gave/is still giving me, it's safe to say this will be on my wrist for the next 25+ years and with a saphire crystal and non-scratch titanium case I would guess even longer than that! Thank you Citizen for making the perfect field watch for me.”
