“Excellent customer service and help and advice offered and part arrived quickly over Christmas. Was shocked at the postage cost of £4.90 for a small screw and it was not send tracked or special delivery but it did arrive and I appreciate the care on emails from shop.”

“The web site is alittle hard to navigate the search engine sends you all over the place they are very quick to answer a question wich an oldie like me appreciate as my nephew surprised me with a jade 35 after my designer 1 went to sewing machine heaven. So i was unsure of the parts my only niggle when order confirmation received it said the would notify when dispatched but they didnt however stuff arrived safe and as soon as i work out how format the usb should be a happy bunny again.”

In regards to dispatch notifications, usually emails are sent on the morning we dispatch the order, but if you did not receive your email there may have been an oversight due to a high quantity of orders that day, which we apologise for. “Although the product arrived safely and I was able to complete my project on time I was totally disappointed I the carrier's performance. I paid for courier delivery. The item was delivered a day later than I would have expected and not delivered into my hands as indicated by the vsrrier's delivery note. " signed for'. I saw no one. The delivery photo showed the package beside my back gate BUT was actually thrown over the gate. I suggest Cole's find a different carrier and recommend that customers do not pay £7.50 for express carriage.”

Hi Dawn, Thanks for the feeback. I am sorry the carrier let you down. We are changing carriers and hopefully the new company will be more reliable. We offer the courier service as some customers request express. Its always difficult when you have to rely on a third party to do the delivery. “Good communication. Bobbins arrived quickly. Had to buy pack of 10, which with postage charges was quite expensive. Item was correct and fitted my sewing machine”

We're sorry that you found it the bobbins and the postage charge together expensive. The £3 postage charge only applies to orders under £15, so if you choose to shop with us again then you can avoid that charge by adding another item. Thanks again for your review!

Hi Robert, thanks for the feedback! I know it can be difficult to find men's patterns - there's so much choice for women and hardly any for men! I will pass your suggestion on to my colleague who orders our patterns, obviously we are limited by what is available but we will look into whether there is anything we can do to increase our range for men.
