“Ordered a claddagh ring for my daughter on the 14th for Xmas, and was guaranteed Xmas delivery. Got an email that evening saying it had shipped what was odd as I was getting it engraved! Two days later another email saying they were waiting on another item but would still be here for Xmas, again odd as I only ordered 1 thing! Either way nothing came and I’ve sent plenty of ignored Emails!!! After looking through Trust Pilot I can clearly see I’m not alone, in fact this behaviour seems to be the norm with Glencara year after year which is why I’m seeking advice from Trading Standards ASAP......”
“Worst experience ever.
I’ve ordered a claddagh ring for my girlfriend on November the 20th and never received it. They told me to wait until December the 18th and then email them back if the item would still be missing. So I’ve waited and on December 19th, empty handed, I wrote them once again and they told me that they’d ship another ring free of charge using FedEx which was supposed to deliver the ring by December 23rd. Today is Christmas Eve, the ring is somewhere else and I won’t be able to give my girlfriend a present this year. Don’t buy from them, they tend to disappear or reply to your emails after ages.
Never gonna buy from them again”
“Avoid this company at all cost, placed order for Celtic necklace, order accepted, then email to say items had been dispatched, then within two days email to say item out of stock will not arrive by Christmas and no expected date available for dispatch, have attempted to email for update but no reply or acknowledgment of request, very, very poor customer service and very worrying as to if the order will be fulfilled.”
“Please think twice about ordering from this company it took two months of continuous email untill I received my order it was excuse after excuse and then really poor workmanship and damaged, they wanted me to pay for returns even tho items were faulty and nothing like advertised, so they reimbursed payment for postage and then deducted amount from refund, “when I eventually got it” I think I only got refund because I said I would contact PayPal and leave a bad review.”

“Received order 4th April, looked nothing like the advertised product. They said they would rectify and remake one for me. 17th April they finally said the ring was put into production, supposedly shipped 9th may. 23rd may nothing received glencara claim it must have been lost by royal mail. They said they could ship it 27th may by which point I was fed up I just wanted my refund back and sent off the original ring to them. They are not replying to my emails now that I am wanting refund. I am absolutely convinced they had never sent off a 2nd ring as they were unable to provide proof. Appalling and shameful company, avoid!!!”
