“Excellent service, excellent product it has been a great time collecting the current releases from Indicator Powerhouse, Studio Canal, Second Sight, Final Entertainment and others Now though the releases from Hammer themselves have been excellent Captain Kronos, Four Side Triangle and the upcoming Shatter and The Quatermass Xperiment all in 4K Collector's Editions. Bravo!”
“The latest iteration of Hammer has started on a role by re-engaging with fans and embarking on a film restoration programme that’s super exciting and second to none. If we continue to see such quality 4K releases and new film projects (with hopefully a British repertory flavour) we’re in for a ride. As a lifelong fan I wish them all the luck in the world.”
“I’m so pleased that the new team running Hammer are putting such effort into the company’s legacy. Not only do we get beautifully curated 4K home entertainment releases crammed with value added material but there are also loads of features on the blog section of the web portal. Now, all we need is new product - new films to revitalise Hammer’s horror presence in cinemas.”
“The products are excellent and the best versions you will find but my main issue is the way they released Captain Kronos. I bought the first original collectors set with 4K discs which I wont use, and would have bought a bluray only set. They then release a bluray only set minus a few things following the original selling out.
Not a great idea by them as now I will wait till every collectors set sells out so I can get the bluray only sets and if there isint one the question will be asked, "If they did it once why didnt they do it it again?"
I wish they hadn't released the separate set as it will cause problems in the future.”
“I discovered Hammer films in the 80’s in a Double Creature Feature on an Autumn afternoon in America. I’ve been a fan of Hammer’s movies ever since. The sets, the stories, the actors, the musical scores - all top notch in my opinion. As an adult, I began collecting Hammer films when I could on DVD. When blu-ray came onto the scene, I went all out - collecting Hammer films in every genre from all over the world. Not only has it been fun to discover or rediscover these films, but within the community of Hammer enthusiasts, I’ve met lots of great people and have made new friends with many people all over the world - even sending blu-rays of Hammer fare to friends in other countries.”
