About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Can only comment on delivery and packaging which are excellent but as they are Xmas presents not the quality. I would be extremely disappointed and surprised if they weren't.”

“I think Jaques are a wonderful company I love their toys their packaging and the feeling that they give customer service in the true sense of the word and not an AI replacement Unfortunately with regret I’ve placed my last order because Their Courier EVRI give me such an appalling service I no longer use any company who’s courier is EVRI”

“We have several of there games and have also bought some for our grandchildren the quality is exceptional made to last . Also great to share for all the family. They are second to none. Presentation is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. Keeps children of all ages occupied. Certainly recommend.”

“The service from the company is excellent. I reported that I had not received my parcel. I'm pretty sure that the fault lay with the courier. Jaques did not dispute or question. They sent my goods again to my son's address no questions asked and free of further charge. A company that looks after it's customers first and foremost. A company that you can trust. “I would definitely recommend Jaques of London, the wooden toys are beautifully made, very smooth ideal for little hands, I did have one problem however……one of the toys I ordered was broken when it arrived so I emailed with a photo attached, they responded the next day with a replacement in the post, no queries, no problems, fantastic service. Oh and the packaging is lovely the toys are wrapped in tissue paper with a nice little card saying who packed them, such a personal touch. Well Done to you all, my grandson is only months old at the moment so I will be ordering from you for years to come😊”

“Jacques produce quality toys that are robust and fit for play Their range contains many wooden toys and most of their range links in with Montessori learning and education protocols They respond quickly to orders and keep me informed of my orders progress and delivery I would highly recommend them for strong attractive and educationally sound children’s toys and games In this age of screens , they row against the tide An ethos I fully support !!”
