The wrapping was very good but the actual plants might be ok in about two years if they survive very very disappointing

Good deliveryservice, but 3 of the 6 plants I ordered were of a very poor condition, broken stems, crooked and barely alive, they had all been boxed laying on their side - as the box was too small for them to be standing up ! The other 3 were very good and healthy. I raised a query and submitted photo evidence within 1 hour of receiving the plants, and was simply told, re-pot or put out into the ground and wait 4 weeks to see if they recover as the roots will be fine ! Let's see what happens next. I have done this, and now have to wait 4 weeks and see if the 3 plants do recover - Not what I was expecting as the quality of plant or service.

Hi Kevin, I’m really sorry to hear about the condition of some of your plants on arrival. They are only just coming out of winter dormancy so do not look at their best as they still carry last years growth, which is why we have asked you to pot them up and let the newly forming roots settle so that they can put on new spring growth. Yellow, weak, snapped, pathetic excuse for something that once had the potential to resemble young plants. Maybe the delay to the delivery was due to a weekend in a cement mixer? :(

Very disappointed with the quality of the plants. I ordered replacement but there was little improvement in the quality.

First order with J Parker's arrived in over-sized box for plants purchased with only 4 bits of screwed up paper to hold them in place whiich they did not - all plants on their side in box. Out of the six plants received only 4 were in good condition and ready to be planted the other 2 (same type) were dying - loads of brown leaves. I twice tried telephoning J Parker's as soon as I received them and was kept on hold first for 10mins then for 5 mins so hung up and emailed my complaint to J Parker's including photos of the plants and the state of the delivery box. The reply was plant them and see if they grow! Requested refund for the 2 dying plants as per their 12 months guarantee and haven't heard a word from them since! The only reason I shopped with J Parker's was because Mr Middleton's did not have the plants I wanted, I won't be buying anything from J Parker's again - very, very poor after-service. Mr Middleton's is far superior in quality, packaging and customer service.

As with all perennial plants they are going into dormancy at this time of year and as all our plants are hardy they are grown and kept outside so they will be in varying stages of winter dieback as the sap returns to the roots to ready them for next year. The plants I ordered Molinia arund. windspeil Were not correct on arrival . I was sent Miscsnthus . I phoned was advised to use WhatsApp , which I did and sent pictures . Approximately 10 days past and I heard nothing , so I rang again . I was told that my query by WhatsApp falls off after 24hrs and I should have received a reply if it hadn’t been dealt with to say reopen . The customer service agent could see I hadn’t been sent anything and it was because of settings . I explained my issue again and received a reopen WhatsApp the following day . It said k had received the correct order and went on to explain that what I received might not look like the picture due to the changing seasons. I wrote back explaining that I had 40 years experience in the horticulture industry and what I was sent was incorrect . I received a reply to say that I would be refunded in full . I replied that this would not help the planting scheme I had planned . I’m disappointed that a horticultural expert didn’t call me or that replacement plants of the correct order wasn’t offered .

Hi Neville Thank you for your review and I am sorry to learn that our team didn't respond originally when you were contacted by us and I can see that steps have been taken to try and prevent this happening again in the future. With regards the plant sent, our horticultural expert has advised that the correct item has been sent and I am sorry that you disagree with their findings. Had the item been replaced we believe that you would still of been unhappy as the stock looks exactly the same hence the refund. Regards Trish

Not very good, plants were in a poor state when i received them, not what i was expecting, the box was basically crushed with one end open, you have a lovely web page so i was expecting better, would i recommend definitely not I'm afraid.

I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed. The 2 Limelight and the Grandiflora were in a poor state. Completely pot bound in minuscule pots and looking very unhealthy. The Annabelle was less so but all the plants were terribly dehydrated and badly cared for. I won’t be buying from you again.

Parkers use a 1☆ rated courier ie fastway. Order dumped 3 floors down in a disabled complex. Shan't use Parkers again while they disrespect customers by using cowboy couriers.

Got my roses two months after purchasing. There was no information about delay when I was buying them.

Hi Hanna, Thank you for your review. We did advise on the website back in late October when the order was placed that delivery of roses would be from early December onwards as our growers advised us that lifting would be later this year due to the milder weather. Kind regards, Trish
