They are only just starting to come out of dormancy so don't look great, but once planted will soon thrive and put on lots of growth. They don't look at the their best just yet as they are deciduous and will just be coming out of dormancy. Please plant them and you should see new growth over the next few weeks. I bought some gooseberry and raspberry plants on line. I’m happy with the products and have them planted out now. My only slight quibble is that when I order on line I would normally expect an indication at the time of order or shortly after, of when the item is likely to be dispatched and again, particularly since it was in Ireland, dispatch would happen quickly. In the end I had to contact Parkers myself (first using the bot online (unsuccessful) and then more manually. At that point I got assurance from a staff member that the items would be delivered by end Feb. It might be that I’m just not used to ordering plants on line!! Possibly just reply with an estimated delivery date when you receive the order? Many thanks.”

I am sorry that you had difficulty locating the delivery information. We do advise approximate delivery times against each product on the website. Once the products are going through our picking and packing process we will send an email to let you know that dispatch is imminent.

“Good afternoon, The lack of information as to when the bulbs would be delivered was very disappointing. If I had known I had to wait months for the delivery it would have been most useful. A query was submitted to customer service about christmas time - this was never answered. An email sent to sales earlier this month was answered and gave some hope that my money wasn't wasted.
I have just noticed that the next question concerns delivery time, it would be difficult to answer the way it is posed ...
I hope that if I place an order again that the experience will be much better. As it stands I could not recommend anyone to buy from J Parkers Ireland.”

Thank you for your review! Delivery times are clearly shown on our website and on the confirmation of order, I’m sorry they were not noticed when the order was placed.
I am only able to find the one email from you under the email address given on your order so it's likely we didn't receive the first one. I note that the order has now been completed within the timeframe originally advertised.

“I was a bit disappointed with the packaging. All three plants had popped out of the green holders and pots from being bounced around in the post. Need to think about more secure packaging for example Tape the green holders. There should be no movement in transit better box use eg smalle size.”

“While the bulbs are good, this was a poor experience. The ad online says they will be send quickly! Mine took 13 days at the end of season when time is important.
After 10 days I rang customer service to inquire, a woman just repeated terms and conditions said 28 days in a robotic voice. No sorry, no I understand your concern, we'll do our best. I was treated as an inconvenience.
My request to speak to a supervisor was denied. I was promised a call back - never happened!
Mr. Middleton, Farmer Gracy and Arboretum communicate much better! Won't use J Parkers again.”

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry to hear about the delay and the handling from our team. This isn’t the level of service we aim to provide.
Although we advertised items on this order would be delivered within 28 days, most orders to not reach this timeframe. Unfortunately, the courier we were using for our Ireland customers went into administration so it did take us a few days to resolve the issue and I am sorry that you were affected.

“Great choice of items and reasonable prices. Would appreciate more guidance on planting out, eg, I bought a Salvia Nachtvlinder but don't know if it is hardy enough to plant out before winter for its first year?”

Thank you for your review. All the planting guides for our plants can be found online. All our perennials are winter hardy so can be planted straight outside. As with any other perennials they only need to be protected if you live in an area which has strong winds or heavy frosts.

The anemone nemorosa corms do always look shriveled. They dry out rapidly once lifted but a few hours in water for several hours will soften and rehydrate them and they will then be perfect for planting.

“We had 5 roses delivered, the one that was individually packaged was perfect, the others that were packaged in pairs all suffered some slight damage.”
“I hate not being able to give 5* but the good I received were not good .The 2Anabelle were badly broken up ,are now in compost,while the other4 plants fared better ,they were all in Packadging too short for the plants so were never going to arrive unscaved. So I had to contact CC ,sent photos,Agent agreed that they would replace 2xAnnabelle(Even though not available onsite) but said looked others would recouver,I had queried "black" leaves/half leaves on all plants but was not entertained ,instead just answered that replacements would be sent out 7-14 days and closing ticket.Not a great experiance TBH ,unnessary,dispatched earlyhours fri received Monday .I have included photos”

“Plants arrived smashed as were boxes but id put that down to the fact they use fastways for delivery. Plants themselves dont look in the best of shape too, but im sure they will survive their ordeal.”

“Customer service is good but plant quality varies a lot. On this recent order instead of bushy 9cm potted perennials some were a leggy single stem, some a really long stem with one or two shorter stems. The long stems were badly twisted and bent and need to be cut back. Overall I don't feel the plants have been well cared for and should have been cut back to produce bushy plants. It's hard to know how they will turn out.”

“The order was a gift however there is no provision to add a gift card or message which is disappointing. The order form then mixed up bits of the delivery address and the payment address so the carriers couldn't deliver and returned the item.
Ashleigh at customer services however was a star and got everything sorted out so a 2nd delivery was made successfully. If things go wrong it's how you resolve the issue that matters. Thank you Ashleigh.”

“Items were delivered to wrong address - advised by courier that they were delivered on 17th April but I did not locate them at aneighbours house until 22nd April after receiving a google map location from courier”
